Annihilation, first phase is easy, but the sheer amount of visual clutter and types of attacks you have to avoid, especially in co-op, made it the toughest. Sha Hala is tough as well.
i hate Annihilation because of the we are fighting a virtual boy shader and that hurt me eyes if it wasn't for the red shader, i would have better time noticing an attack
@@hby7768 Enigma can melt those alsmost instantly . He uses them up to do his AOE every few seconds . Remove enough of them and the boss has a damage window. Not super hard even on Apoc (they take a bit longer to destroy)
The problem I've seen with people have with Sha'Hala, is they don't pay attention to the mechanics. Like the red bar attack they dodge backwards, instead of forward. They dodge from the spark attack instead of running from it. And lastly, they don't play with their builds. Of course, you could get screwed like i was at the start, with N'ERUD being your starting area ;(
I started here and was just melted as a hunter if it wasn't for multi-player so that I can get some weapons and farm a bit I would put this down for a day or two
Apocalypse difficulty really puts some of these bosses in perspective.. i struggled with the corrupter boss, Custodians eye was a huge pain, Sha la boss was insane and i died plenty, Cancer roots could one shot you, annihilation was tough but i was able to beat it with about 5 deaths..
Any boss or survivor and veteran is pretty easy if you actually tried doing it on nightmare or apoc you would understand why people think sh'hala was difficult 🤣🤣🤣
Sha'hala is relatively easy in lower difficulties however he becomes far more menacing in Apocalype. It's mostly because he has a lot of attacks that are relatively weak and don't do much damage but in Apocalype that's just dialled up all the way to 11. He's definitely not the hardest boss but he is definitely a bigger threat than the likes of Nightweaver or Tal'Ratha in Apocalype. In lower difficulties he's relatively one of the easier bosses though
With a fully realized build on max level veteran difficulty is too easy to test a boss, you are in apocalypse tier now basically, and you won't get a true gauge of a boss difficulty in the lower settings anymore.
Sha Hala isn’t terrible until you run it on Apocalypse, where anything randomly pops up and turns you inside out. It’s not the hardest boss but I can understand the difficulty and frustration people have.
Agreed! I didnt understand all the talks of him being hard or unfair until I faced him on Apoc. Pretty much everything oneshots you and there is so much focus on avoiding damage so you cant really concentrate of whats coming next. And thats when his hands or the black hole will get you
I think because ppl got it in their 1st playthrough and they dont have enough stamina/consumables for regen to dodge properly. The alt version of this boss requires you to spam rolling sometimes so I kinda understand why ppl complained
Nightweaver was definately the hardest (and best) boss for me, but I haven't done this varient of Sha'Hala yet, so I'll hold off on judgement until then.
I think it depends on the difficulty . I recently did 1st apoc campaign and I had the most issues with Magister Dullain(who I melted on veteran) . You can build a tank and make most bosses easy(Easier Its still Apoc) but that one has so many one shot mechanics. Melee range ? His tongue pike is a oneshot on any health . Range? Corpse throw also can OHKO you (and he does those a lot). Basically , you cant really cheeze him with tank/heal builds like the rest (And he does enough AOE/Minions that its a problem) . Same issue with Venom (the dude that throws OHKO spears at you in Root Earth) though he was easier for me. Might be his place in campaign being near the end . I had a lot more know how on surviving Apoc bosses at this stage .
Surprisingly the one boss that gave me troubles in a first time clear against them was the red prince, having my max health reduced nonstop and the firestorm move that condensed the arena was rough to deal with, after some learning though, it can be simple to deal with
Ravager was a bit of a pain at first until I decided to buy the one shot high damage sniper from the gun guy and level it up. That was my first boss. Corrupter is easy. So long as you make sure you’re on a good platform, you shoot the hands that come at you and you stay away from the guardian and always position yourself near stairs. Faelin/Faerin isn’t too difficult. Nightweaver took me an hour or two two get the dodging of her attacks down. Root Earth bosses were kind of difficult my first time through because I wasn’t used to them. Cancer I just say burn it all. I literately just use the flamethrower since his weak point is on his back. Venom took some time but using Nightfall before the nerf got it done. The final boss I’m going to be honest I cheesed the first time through. When I played through the campaign on the same difficulty with a friend and we got to root earth I said screw it and had my friend Reaver and Turret do the work against bosses/hordes. Enigma for when they got close. Also, even with the nerf it still does its intended job of clearing out hordes of trash mobs. Also taking out shields.
Sha Hala was really hard on co-op, but when I played it solo it wasn't. That +50% damage buff for bosses makes some of them so hard on co-op, I played first play thru with 2 friends on nightmare and after that solo apocalypse was easy
The issue with Sha'Hala is not necessary the difficulty but the requierements to beat the boss. If you don't have a rapid fire weapon that can break projectiles, you will not be able to deal with the projectiles that sends beams toward you, making the fight more of a hassle. If Sha'Hala is your starting boss on a new character and your starter archetype is Challenger for instance. You have a very bad starter kit to deal with the boss.
for normal playthrough - i would say final boss for hardcore playthrough - Labyrinth sentinel is the hardest boss...with 1 life only, that boss can easily end your run. good thing i got 1 friend who stay outside in case if 2 of us got squashed to bit we would just ask the 3rd one to respawn us back
if u have bad aim like me but good dodge move then Labyrinth Sentinel boss is difficult . The Labyrinth Maze itself is difficult without looking through any guides you will be running circles in it
I think it depends on what your first world was and when you started playing the game too. I started before the huge patch to dual classing, so you couldn't get your second class until your first had hit lvl 10 😅. And my first world was N'Erud. So the Custodian's Eye And Sha'Hala were just freaking brutal for my like lvl 7 Handler with just a handful of talent points and no second class to back it up 😂.
if I had to make a list, cancer would be in the top 5. not paying attention to your surroundings for the two roots that move can get a sneaky hit on you
Maxed out gun, you have a build and you're playing on veteran. (nightmare is the for maxed out/ builds in mind). taking all that in to consideration its insane for you to say its not that hard.
you need to fight sha hala in higher diff with afixes, also the damage is increased, there is the issue you cannot have many errors like in your gameplay here
To me sha hala, from nerud tends to be more bothersome, final boss is just hard its just gimmick and unfair, and nerud its a pain in the behind as a starting area.
The gameplay is survivor so I don’t think it’s a fair assessment. Im not saying that you need to play on apoc to be valid but any boss is easy on survivor when you’re leveled
My first boss when I started the game was that damn rolling blob on N'reud. I thought that was hard and then I met Annihilation. 2nd phase of that messes with my eyes too much 🤣
Well these people are playing on way harder difficults your on normal mode. You cant really compare the two. For me I play nightmare mode my first playthrough with some friends, and I think cancer or the final boss. Cancer was hard because he has so much AOE and he is kinda unpredictable. I still haven't tried apocalypse yet tho, so idk
hmm idk about your Testing but you are playing on the lowest Difficulty with Gunsinger Hunter Nightfall ... i guess there will be no rating bcs every Boss is easy Mode on this Setup ... i mean its 1 of the best Combos in the Game on easiest Difficulty ... what do you exspect ??
Nah this def is wrong in my opinion I feel nightweaver was easy that was my third world and I didn’t get to this boss until I almost beat the game and joined a friends. This was by far way harder but a nod to you maybe like you said because you were leveled way up. Good video tho!
Annihilating n Sha Hal’s are just threats on apoc but not impossible lmao😂😂😂 You just need to learn there mechanics and people seem to refuse to do that There are lesser bosses with the worse hit box that will absolutely destroy you without even being near you 😂😂😂😂 a lotta of y’all clearly ain’t ran into the MEATBALL on apoc
Faerin by far. First playthrough on nightmare. Spamming portal seeker, delayed out of hell attacks or fast pattern, gapclose, fast af. Hits like a truck, especially solo you almost find no window to heal. Hes a nasty guy. 🦭
yeah because most of the time u die due to 1. fell off the arena 2. the ground is what kill you because u too focus on looking up while the ground is glowing and hit ur ankle
Annihilation, first phase is easy, but the sheer amount of visual clutter and types of attacks you have to avoid, especially in co-op, made it the toughest. Sha Hala is tough as well.
A lot of the other bosses are kinda either tedious or just frustrating. Annihilation is just fucking cheap
i hate Annihilation because of the we are fighting a virtual boy shader and that hurt me eyes if it wasn't for the red shader, i would have better time noticing an attack
Apoc annihilation balls of death in 2nd phase is the hardest for me. Sha Hala is 2nd hardest for me.

Night weaver: cackle
Main problem with this boss is that on a high difficulty you get one shot by the fists coming out of the ground.
...just move no stop in this fight.
It’s not meant to be survived. If you keep moving you’ll be fine. It has a visual and sound Q right before it happens if you want to dodge it
I already beat this boss numerous times. I'm on the last area on Apocalypse already.

Amen. Boss has way too many attacks I just can't seem to beat him
Sha’hala, night weaver, Venom, and abomination(meat ball) are the ones that gave me the most problems on my first play through. Love them all tho.
Probably because of that rasengan attack of Sha'Hala

in his first play, my friend got an spitiful/vicious Venom, before all the nerfs and tweeks, that guy was a truly MONSTER
Venom is rough!
Sha'hala is hard on harder game modes where the bosses do a lot of damage with each it
Nightweaver was definately the hardest (and best) boss for me, but I haven't done this varient of Sha'Hala yet, so I'll hold off on judgement until then.
On Apocalypse main focus should be on how to avoid damage not deal damage. Learning patterns. This your most powerfull "weapon".

Venom was the worst. On Apoc with the Vicious modifier, there is no build that can survive his spear lunge and throw attacks.
Surprisingly the one boss that gave me troubles in a first time clear against them was the red prince, having my max health reduced nonstop and the firestorm move that condensed the arena was rough to deal with, after some learning though, it can be simple to deal with
