(Read the Description for the brief introductory remarks) The audio is a snippet from a 1960s-70s concert uploaded by Raju Asokan. The concert was organized at the behest of Pt Bhimsen Joshi, in order to display the rare-ragas side of his repertoire. The present audio snippet has the violinist (as yet unknown to me, as is the tabla player) play a rare raga, whose scale seems to be SRMmDS", i.e., like Raga Durga, but with m replacing the P.
At one point, Bhimsen Joshi appears to say, 'iska jod main sunaunga', and indeed, he follows this up with 'Khelan aayo Radha-Madhav' in Lalita-Gauri. At another point, the violinist demonstrates how the raga is a chalan bheda on Raga Vibhas of the Marwa thaath. He also briefly shows how the raga would sound in Bhimsen ji's style of gayaki. It would be lovely if someone could identify the violinist and/or tabla player.
The image of the violin used here is taken from newstrance2015.wordpress.com/2015/09/15/fiddling-through-the-pages-of-history-and-classical-notes/.

Isn't Dinkar Kaikini ji's Gunaranjani similar but with komal rishabh?

Thanks Farhanji. I'm a bit confused because you've said 1966, which is the same as the year in the title of the Raju Asokan video. But in the comments section of that video, Rafat Said ji says it was mid/late 70s when this concert was organised

Same here. Raju Asokan’s video description says 'circa 1966', whereas Rafat Said’s comments says 'mid/late 70s'. Either of these must be a typo.

@@FarhanAmin1994 thank you 👍 I think Rafat ji must have made a typo because PBJ's voice sounds 60s more than late 70s by which time it was a lot deeper/lower scale

@@FarhanAmin1994 you could be right, I don't recognise his playing. When I first heard it, I thought the style sounded more Carnatic than Hindustani but I could be wrong!
