  • So I spent 2 weeks with the MC21! Just released in 2023. Hands down this is the most space-saving home treadmill series I could find online. See how it unfolds!

    I appreciate your review so much! It is so strange there is such a small amount of user reviews for this model, i cannot understand why :(

    Hi, great review, one question: I can keep the hand rail down and walk on this using the remote right? I don't need to put the rail up for that? Thanks

    • @LockdownTechToys
      @LockdownTechToys  6 місяців тому +1

      For sure, yes you can. I always keep the hand rail up, but if you want to only walk on it you can. Would work great with a standing desk!

    Hi, I saw how you extended the handle. But I can not get how do you fix it in the chosen position?🤔

    • @LockdownTechToys
      @LockdownTechToys  Рік тому

      Hi, all you do is pull it out to the desired position and let go. There's some internal notches so it stays, but make sure there's a click sound before you let go or it will fall right down again:)

    Thanks for the review! I have a question for you, where the hinge is, can you feel a dent?

    • @LockdownTechToys
      @LockdownTechToys  Місяць тому

      Sure! The dent is there, you can definitely feel it especially when running. That said, it doesn't get very pronounced at low speeds

    Great review, can you answer to one question please.
    If I would like to use it under table, is it possible to fold down the handle with the buttons and use it ? does it has a remote?

    • @LockdownTechToys
      @LockdownTechToys  Рік тому +2

      Thanks! Yes it's possible to use it in walking mode - that is with the handle down. But the speed is limited to 6km per hour. You need to put the handle up to access jogging speeds of ip to 10 clicks. It does have a separate remote. I haven't used it since i like the handle, but it can be useful if you plan to use the MC21 for mainly walking.

    Hey, thank you for the review. I don't know if you are still responding to comments, but if you do, can you help me understand how wide this thing is? The specs say 70 cm, but clearly it has two different widths - a smaller across most of it and a wider at the very front, where the handle is attached. Which one is 70 cm?

    • @LockdownTechToys
      @LockdownTechToys  5 місяців тому

      Hey no problem, thank you for the comment. If you're referring to the black tread portion, its about 35cm. That part is uniform throughout. If you're talking about the entire thing at the front, its about 2 and a half feet across, or 70 plus centimeters.

    Does it have anti-static platform? I see that only x21 has anti-static in specs, but what about this one and r2? All of them are priced in the same range.

    • @LockdownTechToys
      @LockdownTechToys  4 місяці тому

      Probably not, but i dont notice any difference. I do notice that the tread is quite rough and wears out my Nike free runs fast though.

    Hi. Which one is better, r2 pro it mc21?

    • @LockdownTechToys
      @LockdownTechToys  Рік тому +1

      About the same really. The R2 pro goes up to 12km/h, while the MC21 is maxed out at 10km/h, which is enough for me. Other that that the styling of the R2 pro is darker is more at home in a serious gym, while the MC21 is like lighter and more casual looking.

  • @rendcycle
    @rendcycle Рік тому +1

    How many of the bottom Grip/Foot Pads are adjustable? Is it true that the MC21 treadmill model has to be stopped for 10 minutes after running continuously for every 50 minutes? How many horsepower does your MC21 have, 1 or 1.25HP? Does the treadmill have a creaking noise which gets louder the faster you run on it? Have you tried connecting this to the Zwift or Kinomap app? How is the MC21 now after months of use?

    • @LockdownTechToys
      @LockdownTechToys  Рік тому

      None can be adjusted. Not true. Not sure about horsepower, top speed is 10km per hour. Yes the noise increases wirh speed, understandable. Not sure what apps they are, just use the kingsmith app.

    Hi. How is the treadmill doing? I am considering to buy this model vs x21. The foldability is huge plus point.

    • @LockdownTechToys
      @LockdownTechToys  8 місяців тому +2

      Its still working well! Over 6 months later. I use it daily for walking and sometimes running. If you need the 12kmh speed of the x21, go for it. If not, the 10kmh speed of the mc l21 works just fine for me. Saves time and money going to the gym just for the treadmill too.

    • @BlissfulArmy
      @BlissfulArmy 8 місяців тому +2

      @LockdownTechToys thanks for replying. I ended up buying X21 just for the ipad holder, and then realised it has no wheel to roll around. A little bit too late 😂.

    • @LockdownTechToys
      @LockdownTechToys  8 місяців тому +4

      @BlissfulArmy No problem and thanks for the update. Didnt know x21 doesn't have rollers! Pretty inconvenient as the device is very heavy. Do you find yourself going above 10kmh often? I normally go at 9 or below 😆

    • @BlissfulArmy
      @BlissfulArmy 8 місяців тому +1

      @LockdownTechToys yes quite inconvenient without the rollers but oh well moving it around could be a warmup on its own too 😅
      Since I had it, only went up to 6km/h for 1 hour. Using it mainly late in the evening on busy days, just to get the steps in, when my energy is already super low.
      But then again even in the gym i rarely go past 8 km/h.. so except for some plus points - such as unfolding mechanism of X2 I think needs less maneuvering because the armrest doesn't move and flip (just unfold the belt frame straightaway to use), and the panel is wider with knob that goes up to 0.1 km/h increment - both models X21 and MC21 look pretty similar.
      Hope it can last me quite a while too.. at least 6 months.. 😄

    • @LockdownTechToys
      @LockdownTechToys  8 місяців тому

    Can you move the handles down to the ground so you can use it under desk?

    • @LockdownTechToys
      @LockdownTechToys  13 днів тому

      Yes you can. I mean if you want a walking pad you should simply get the cheaper version without any handles, but this is for those who want the option to run.
