Now that we're all pretty much staying home I've decided to talk about some of the gadgets that I've bought online over the many months of covid-induced happiness. Sorry if I sound amateurish cos I am... Thanks for watching! I'll upload more videos when I can.
Theragun Mini 2 - worth the outlay?
It's been a while, folks! Been busy the last couple months. I got this massage gun from Therabody last December - how does it stack up against something 4 times cheaper like the Renpho?

Coolify 3 Review - upgrade from the Coolify 2S?
Переглядів 3,1 тис.5 місяців тому
My review of the Coolify 3, as compared to the 2S. After having used both, I'm not sure if the 3 is a true upgrade, as it has many compromises. Still, the latest version does cooling better, and for this reason alone it's worth it... as long as you bring along spare battery packs. Hoping for an improved longer-lasting Coolify! torraslife.com/products/torras-coolify-3-wearable-neck-air-condition...

Charging a Tesla (for renters, not owners)
Переглядів 1,7 тис.8 місяців тому
Since I made this video, I've realized this Hines Oregon location is an outlier, and in most of the other places with Superchargers the cost is really comparable to that of gas. That being said, pros include the ease of plugging and charging, no smells of oil, and easy in-vehicle navigation. The cons are... just too many supercharging stops! Compared to gas stations 😆 Also not enough units in r...
Tesla Model Y - 1 week impressions
Переглядів 6128 місяців тому
Here's my impression of the Model Y (dual motor) after driving it in and around the West Coast for a week. Was a little nervous about using it for a road trip, but turns out it runs way better than an ICE vehicle! Part of the convenience (and savings) is the wide availability and ease of use of Tesla's supercharging network.

Happy New Year! Actually I made the first parts of the video a couple weeks back, but now thankfully I have the time to upload this. Can I pair two XB43s, having the cell phone connected to the AUX of one of the two? Or can they only be paired by connecting the cell phone via Bluetooth?
I have a slim 50000🎉🎉 BLACKWEB❤🎉
is this even a question?
I got this monitor last week to use with my older U2720Q. I feel this one has much warmer colours. So white pages feel paler compared to my U2720Q. I watched your video on iPad pro as iPads and Macbook generally have very accurate screens as long as you turn off all display optionseg night mode etc. I see your monitor feels exactly like mine so probably these monitors screen are generally warmer. What do you think?
Oops I don't have any other panel except this so I dont get that impression. My point of comparison is my LG C3 OLED TV and that tends to have eyepopping colors so the Dell feels cooler color wise.
@@LockdownTechToys No worries. Thanks
How about the timer? Should use mi app?
The MI app does the timer and has remote on off among others
@@LockdownTechToys oke, thank you
Thanks very good fan but cost too much money
Pricey but a little too noisy. Not very strong
Can you move the handles down to the ground so you can use it under desk?
Yes you can. I mean if you want a walking pad you should simply get the cheaper version without any handles, but this is for those who want the option to run.
@@LockdownTechToys thanks unfortunately I’m heavier then the recommended weight capacity for the cheaper model. The recommended is 105kg I’m 108 kg. I am a wfh call centre worker and looking for something to walk to while on call or go jogging out side of work hours.
Can the 2S run while charging?
It can, but I rarely do so. Lasts the whole day on a full charge
Thanks for making this video. Can I know what APP to download, coz ive seen a lot of Daikin app on apple store. Thanks again!
No problem! I don't have an Iphone, i have Android. In the Play store, it's listed as Daikin Mobile Controller, by Daikin industries Thailand
@@LockdownTechToys Thanks a bunch and keep uploading helpful videos like this!
@EllaReyes-so3lt Sure, thanks much for your feedback! 😊
Sir update your treadmill how it is for now i hope you can answer i also want to buy that thing i have doubt about the twchnician said not good quick burn motor that they said that i have doubt pls answer me
Sir the motor works just as well now over 1 year later as the day I took it out of the box.
I have the G613, andd several keys make double keys. so the 33, the -- and the dd andd more and more keys make double entries. 2 years old.
Yeah... actually my G613 has the same issue now, with the space bar. I turnednitnoff and on and wiggled the key a but... now it's fine 🙂
How is the aircon now? Any issues? Some aircon company mentioned the qc issues, does it leak easily? Any motherboard or repairs?
No issues at all. But maintenance should be done regularly so the unit stays effective. Leaks? A few but due to the piping and not the AC. No repairs needed in the 4 years since I got them!
My 2s came with a case. In my opinion, the 2s is better. You can charge and use it on the go, and the battery lasts almost 4 hours on high, full cold.
The 2S is not as cold as the 3, but it lasts way longer and has stronger fans, so is a valid trade off, in my opinion
Thanks for the review! I have a question for you, where the hinge is, can you feel a dent?
Sure! The dent is there, you can definitely feel it especially when running. That said, it doesn't get very pronounced at low speeds
The only thing i hate is the screen dims when there's no movement after a few seconds and there's no fix. And i find the controller very wonky to scroll.
If you're talking about remotes, the Samsung one is a lot more intuitive and overall more user-friendly. Screen dimming is unavoidable for OLED screens and intended to protect the screen from burn-in, I think
Thanks for the detailed video! It helps!! Hope it really helps for the hot and humid weather in Malaysia, sometimes we are not under direct sunlight and there are fans but still feel very stuffy due to high humidity (somemore I live in Penang, near the sea) Was worried the tightness of 3rd gen but understand from you it will get loose later and it sounds good.
Thanks for the nice feedback! Yeah our tropical weather really makes this kind of device a godsend haha. Even in Singapore where AC is everywhere, there are uneven pockets of air conditioning where the Coolify really works. It still isn't all that effective outdoors for long periods, but for short bursts outside in the heat (ie. Walking from building to building) it makes the day a lot more comfortable 😀
5 year old 65C8PLA now switching itself off every 20~30 minutes.
Thank you for the video, great help!
Sure, Glad it helped!
what is the app used for the rgb fusion?
I am outside all day. Dealing with really hot days. Looking for serious relief. I am tired of gadgets that don’t work. This look promising. However maybe not a good time to buy yet. They might come up with a better version
The Coolify 3 does work well... though not as long as i would like. The cooling plate is better than the 2S. Since you're outside all day, after 2 hours, you'll just have to carry around a powerbank to keep it running :)
Great descriptions. Thank you for your thorough work.
Thank you for your feedback! I still use the 2 devices interchangeably.
Bought second hand TitanEvo XL 2022 for 400 euros already mounted with 3 years warranty (3 months of use), I originally wanted to buy a Gesture for 1200 euros but being a student doesn't really help with budget. I had terrible posture since young ages (playing on sofa and crappy chairs), always slouching with my feet on the edge of the seat (C shape agaisn't backrest). When I tested the secretlab yesterday it was firm but not too firm, my only issue is that I always want to slouch agains't it, and the lumbar support clearly tell me shut up sit properly, slight sore lower back like after gym, so I guess it's all about adapting from bad to good posture... Would have loved to try the gesture too, maybe when I will have a full time job and no studies to pay lol Thanks for the vid, it helped me
Thanks for the comment! As a student it must be hard to see all this new tech coming out and having to save up for it. Now I have a car and expenses related to it take a lot out of what I would have paid for tech. But the convenience! Right with time (and a job) your chair collection (and posture) will only get better. Enjoy your XL 2022!

Thanks for the exhaustive comparison. Has Torras published firmwares that improve the performance of the devices, battery, etc?
Thanks for the sub! No, not to my knowledge. Haven't seen any firmware updates yet (after the inital setup)
I fully understand your comments regarding waiting for an Oled monitor, I also bought the Dell U2723QE, but on the other hand I have an ASUS Vivobook Pro 16x M7600 laptop that has a 16" 4K oled screen, and I love to program on it, besides having an LG Oled B6 TV. Hence I was also considering which monitor to buy, but it seems that for now there is none that fits what I am looking for, I hope that in the near future they launch a 27" 4K QD-Oled panel, and then I will consider changing.
Thanks for your comment! Im still waiting for my 27 inch 4k OLED monitor. Recently LG released a 32 inch OLED screen, but my desk wont accommodate it. I have a nice 15 inch OLED laptop (Gigabyte) that is great for gaming, but the screen is a little too small for work tasks. Well, maybe next year ~
@@LockdownTechToys But text will be not sharp on OLED no ?
Guess I'm sticking with my 2S, thanks.
Thanks, glad my review helped!
Great video, but the dealbreaker with O365 on Android is that you are not able to open more that One file or email, so it is almost impossible to work.
Absolutely. The watered-down version of MS 365 makes the tab suitable for the most basic tasks, unfortunately
you prob. figured it out already, but check your bluetooth settings on your phone, you should have it connect for media as well
Thanks! No I don't connect over BT, but will check it out
Thank you so much for making this really detailed comparison. I have been using the 2 (non-S) almost daily for about 18 months and after accidentally dropping it recently I opened it up to inspect the battery packs and sure enough, one of them was looking quite swollen. I didnt feel safe using it any longer and so I removed and disposed of the battery and am now trying to source a replacement. In my searches I discovered that the 3 can be picked up on eBay for considerably less than full retail price and so now I am considering just upgrading. Honestly, the most annoying part of owning the 2 is that it can not be used WHILST charging, but on the 2S and the 3 you can. I am now trying to decide between purchasing a 2S or a 3, or possibly trying the Ranvoo Aice 3 instead. I'm really struggling with which model to get, but your opinion and your experience really means a lot to me, so thank you once again!
Thank you for the detailed feedback! What a pity about your regular 2... I don't think the warranty applies if the drop was substantial, but on the bright side you used it for 18 months and now have the option to upgrade! Are the batteries even removable? Yeah, I don't think replacing the battery (if that's possible) would be cost-effective. And now you can choose between the Coolify 2S or 3, or the Ranvoo Aice 3. Which one will you get? Right the 2S and 3 can both be used while charging, but the 3 uses so much power, the extra juice you carry around will only be good for as long as you turn the unit on... so I carry the 20k Mah worth of powerbanks with me if I'm out and about the whole day. I think the tradeoff of extra cooling (and the slight awkwardness of having a cord dangling from your left collar) is worth it, but on days when I'm lazy to bring around too much stuff, the 2 alone works just fine. Can't comment about the Aice 3 since I've never used it, but from other reviews it seems like the cooling is better, it's less tight (more comfy) than the 3, and the priciest of the bunch. In a way, you're paying for all the extra features you might hardly use. Decisions, decisions!
Superb bro... Thanks a lot ... God bless uuuuu
Thanks for the support bro!
Does it have anti-static platform? I see that only x21 has anti-static in specs, but what about this one and r2? All of them are priced in the same range.
Probably not, but i dont notice any difference. I do notice that the tread is quite rough and wears out my Nike free runs fast though.
Hey, thank you for the review. I don't know if you are still responding to comments, but if you do, can you help me understand how wide this thing is? The specs say 70 cm, but clearly it has two different widths - a smaller across most of it and a wider at the very front, where the handle is attached. Which one is 70 cm?
Hey no problem, thank you for the comment. If you're referring to the black tread portion, its about 35cm. That part is uniform throughout. If you're talking about the entire thing at the front, its about 2 and a half feet across, or 70 plus centimeters.
Hi thinking of getting this for my new home due to its smart function. Just a question, do you have to reconnect after every servicing? Im a starmex user for many years and that machine is a real powerhouse. The only reason im getting ismile is for the smart function.
Hi there, nope you don't have to reconnect every time. The wifi function is super useful, i don't have to worry about not turning off the ac, when im out. I can turn it on or off anywhere... even from overseas ;)
@@LockdownTechToys thank you for your reply. Decide to get it fix by aircon uncle. Not sponsored 😂
Lol, thanks!
Bought mine practically in great condition from a guy for 240 and man the picture quality is out of this world but what really makes me go crazy is how the sound quality literally sounds like it's coming straight from a sound bar in some ways even better and that impressed me from a 2018 now using in 2024😂
Not sure why you're comparing a work-oriented monitor with OLED screens. OLED is not suitable for work since the text is fuzzy due to the sub-pixel structure and also the inevitable burn-in.
Hi, after 2 yrs. still functioning?
Works like a charm! Silent as ever
Hi, great review, one question: I can keep the hand rail down and walk on this using the remote right? I don't need to put the rail up for that? Thanks
For sure, yes you can. I always keep the hand rail up, but if you want to only walk on it you can. Would work great with a standing desk!
Hope by now you are using these good speakers with the Sony Media Center app to adjust EQ and paired them in stereo mode .. plus playing music from good streaming hi res sources with LDAC turned on .. otherwise you are not getting the best out of these speakers. Cheers.
Heey! How's the chair holding up with stains to this day? I also smoke cigarettes but I have an all white set up so this chair would look the best with my set up. I'm just really scared for stains
Hey i have no stains whatsoever. I also don't smoke and have my AC turned on all the time, so I don't sweat when I use the chair. Probably don't smoke when you're at your desk?
I recently purchased this monitor, could you recommend speakers, I live in UK cheers
Sorry, i can't recommend speakers for thsi monitor - its more of what your desktop setup looks like and what you want it to be. Any speakers should work with your PC. Not tapping the taillight with the charger??? 🎉🎉Love it!🎉🎉
Why tap the taillight when you can unlock it from the screen? Or use the button on the plug? Great minds think alike! 😆
Watts on Wheels rental car company in Portugal has loads of teslas on the fleet and no one takes a car without trying it in the DC charger in the garage. Which is pretty much the same process as a Supercharger.
Oh that sounds way better than at Hertz. They even admitted people steal the adapter and charging cables from the Teslas, so not all of them come with those essential items. Facepalm
@@LockdownTechToys It's pretty simple: make sure the client knows the cables were included by physically show them where they are upon delivery and make sure they're there on arrival. If not, charge them. Super easy process they have there!
Exactly! Hertz must get the clients to show them the adapter and cable are still present upon return of the vehicle. It's as easy as checking the battery charge level. They even lock the glovebox with a password, why not check for this? Almost got stranded due to the lack of a $20 plastic piece!
@@LockdownTechToys yeah. Watts on Wheels almost makes it seem... easy. ahah
No tesla owner needed this video.
This was for Tesla renters. Thanks
This is good to know for me. I’m a Tesla owner but will be going on a trip soon. I don’t wanna drive anything else so I’ll be renting a Tesla from hertz
@booooooooooooooooooooooo Appreciate your comment! Are you going to urban areas or to the national/state parks? If you're driving long distance, maybe its better to make sure Hertz includes the J 1772 adapter and charging cable. Or you can bring your own since you own a Tesla already. I didn't know this and drove all the way to Yellowstone's North Entrance, only to find out there was no way to charge, without the adapter! No physical stores seem to sell it either
