Thank you , great help with understanding the throw , I was way over doing it . Also throwing in the woods I level surfaces is a different game. Tech instructed I can see will help prevent shoulder injury .

I just began throwing and bought a Bad Axe. Loving the tips for beginners. TY
Thanks, this will be my new sport, 67, bad knee, cant play hockey, was a goalie and a sniper, beer league. lol.
One thing I'm seeing with my throws is that the axe is usually landing with the blade turned inwards from left to right. I'm right handed. This is usually what causes my drops, not over or under rotation. It's driving me crazy trying to fix it.
I use 6 harbor freight $9.99 axes so I have to say you are incorrect lol you can totally take hardware store axes and practice with them you may just need to run a file on them and change the profile. I have no issue and the plastic handle never breaks! Just saying! I would love axes like yours though!
I was chopping wood the other day with this 2 year old Walmart/Home Depot axe that's bent a couple inches below the blade and some electrical tape around the handle, I was finished and I threw it at a tree with one hand just messing around not expecting it to stick and when I did I strutted in my house looked at my girl and said "I may not be able to fight but I'll turn a froggy mofuka into a statistic"
Are you guys in Bad Axe, Michigan yet?
He say something about stitches in every video........
i smell bullshit1 Any axe just needs to be learned!
You don’t need a super sharp axe for this. That’s just not true.
You don't need one but it will make your life a lot easier!
