This is going to be the coolest last thing a robber ever saw. Training commenced.
Lol!!! Exactly!
Whenever I forget to lock the doors and my girlfriend tries to tell me off I remind her I have an axe and will throw it into their skull
Imagine if he had a gun n shot u rite before it hit him… then it would be the coolest last thing u both saw
Yeah even you over rotate it, it's gonna fucking hurt!
🤣🤣💪🏾
I, as a Canadian, taught myself how to throw axes when I was bored as a kid. I figured out how to improve my chances of the blade hitting by using that flicking technique just by instinct. The fact that that is called a "Canadian flick" is mind-blowing. Is this an inborn instinct of all Canadians?
You unlocked it from your genes
Idk about im about to do it for my first time I’ll let you know. I am a Canadian as well lol.
Ironically I was good at it and won…. So this comment is tested.
@@PlanB0179 Lmao good to know
If I do it instinctually does that make me a Canadian?
went axe throwing for my bday yesterday for the very first time, and i now realize why it wasn’t sticking haha. it was over rotating, plus i was nervous lol. will definitely keep this in mind. great video!!
Me too! I was throwing too hard!!
me (very highly competitive) and my friend (also very highly competitive) are going axe throwing and go-cart racing tomorrow. hopefully studying up a bit will help me.
How did it go?
@@shannonsthoughts13 I was absolutely horrible at axe throwing, but completely dominated in go kart racing, I even lapped him twice.
@@EthanDBG congrats!
@@shannonsthoughts13 thanks
This is literally why I’m here. I MUST win! 🏆 🥇
So, a lady humming a lullaby is constantly throwing these at me while I try to do my job at fixing generators...so maybe you could teach me how to dodge these...
dead by daylight 😂
Just kiss the Huntress on her cheek and she’ll stop trying to kill you.
My sister is turning 60 and really wants to go axe throwing. We usually do a sister outing; there are 6 of us. The other sisters were complaining that they wouldn't be able to do it due to sore shoulders etc. I sent them this video to let them know that it does not require all that much force. It's not like we're trying to chop down trees or anything. Thank you for the video!
How did it go???
I am 68 yr old woman and I really want to do this
@@lynnemonteverde5920do it!
I feel like someone should open up one of these in my town of Bad Axe, Michigan
There's a place in St.Joe MI called The Lumber Jax 😁
Have an injury on my dominant hand and will be doing this one handed non dominant tomorrow in front of the in-laws. Wish me luck!
@@Oopzhi didn’t keep score cause didn’t wanna cost someone to lose lol threw probably 50 times and landed 20-25 of them with about 4 bullseyes. Can’t wait to do it with my throwing arm lol
Went axe throwing for the first time and was surprised with how well I performed. I went by myself after a hard run and it was a great active rest type of workout to follow my run. I absolutely love it and now I am binge watching videos so I can be come a proficient throwing . What a fun activity
Have not been able to throw for almost 4 years and needed a refresher. Took second place in an event yesterday with your tips :)
I always called these hatchets? Continue please. 👍
This is so cool! I’m axe throwing with friends tomorrow and I’m pretty excited
Plan on trying this out with my friends soon! Thanks for sharing ❤
Taking my man on a date to a place like this! I'm nervous of my skills, and excited to see him really enjoy being there doing this.
My hubs is undefeated with axe throwing lol. You'll be great. Love how this guy says don't overthrow. It's an axe for throwing not chopping wood. Great advice!
I went axe throwing for the first time this past weekend with a friend. We went to a place called Bury The Hatchet. I had so much fun and even made the bullseye a couple of times.
Always wanted to learn about axe throwing
Went first time last tuesday to do this with a couple of friends and you explanation helped me a lot.
Got 2/3 success rate using two handed technique :).
Thank you.
Btw, had lots of fun :)
Here just for the sake of the book I am writing xD
Thanks, greatly helped!
Cant wait to do axe throwing for my birthday next month
Good luck I'm taking my mom for her anger issues 😂😂
@@candypie20201 😂😂😂 enjoy
I’m doing the same thing for my birthday
I do it in school
I’m on the way for my birthday rn haha have you been yet?
Thanks for sharing this, we will have this in the town I live in soon and I am excited to try it.
Straight up is 12 throw at 3 . 1 rotation per 5 -7 feet . Meaning how hard you throw . This is what I was told and taught and I stick 10/10 . I started 5-7 feet away . I didn’t move back until I was 10/10 . Now I like to throw axes that are not meant for throwing to challenge myself. I’ll try your tips as well . They are affective and great tips . Kudos .
Perfect! Thank you!
Thanks I needed this video to teach other people how to throw axes too. Thanks for the video mate, very useful. 😊
Thank you! Going axe throwing soon and wanted some pointers beforehand to help prevent unwanted injuries 😂
Great information, with arthritis in my wrist, it’s difficult to really get good technique!
This helps a lot because I’m going axe throwing today
Gonna be doing this today at least now I have a good comprehension what to do thanks for the video!
Im going to try this technique out at my work next time i have a chance. Unfortunately we do have hatchet type axes, so they arent the best for throwing, but i'll give it a go
Trying out a new restaurant Friday night. Called Hatchets. This should be fun.
Thank you! 1. Thought this was an axe for chopping wood aka was terrified. 2. I was WAY overthrowing/over rotate 3. Axe was coming back too far making my technique a mess. Thanks!!!!
Thank you a lot!
mount and blade warband makes this look very easy
Amazing
He is absolutely right and sells it smoooth :d
Thanks
This seems like a great outlet for pent up anger.
Going to bad axe in roch NY next week
I just went axe throwing and had the worst experience ever. This was my first time and the person showing you how would not allow me to throw in the way you are showing here. Infact you would be told your doing it wrong. I was told to throw in a very weird motion, not good for the back by the way. And when their weird throwing motion doesn't work their next solution is for you to move closer. 🙄 I was done at this point. I just left, I was tired of being bullied. You absolutely know what your doing and I would have tried this method but was not allowed to.
Moving closer is not safe as it can definitely bounce from town to time…
Just got done tossing hatchets at flannel jacks in GR. Had a great time, but kind of destroyed the bullseye. Wondering now if I was throwing wrong, how bad is it to have a slight cant to your cut? ( Diagonal cuts)
anyone else here because they are throwing an axe tomorrow?
Lol, me in two hours
Thx i am trying this shit next saturday.
I've perfectly hit the target more than 5 times after watching
That square axe looks interesting and probably easiest to sharpen haha
So how do you throw at longer distances then?
What if you are trying to hit a target that is further. How do you prevent it from spinning
Good movie
How did you get started in axe throwing?
I went to one of these places the other day and it was terrible. I could not stick an axe to save my life. My axe would smack into the bullseye nearly every time and just fall on the floor. -_-
Good luck
Does it matter when you throw the axe to step out with your dominant leg or not ?
Great question! It does matter. The axe should never be in the same hand as the leg you step forward with. You should be stepping with the opposite leg from the hand you're throwing from.
Good question, I’ve wondered the same thing.
Not to step on marios toes, but you have to be comfortable with your throw. I teach both ways. If you feel better and on balance one way compared to the other, stick with it.
U over rotated at the 15' mark... but u hit the bullseye too 🎯...so to me that's a W 🤷🏽♂️
Would a hewing plumb hatchet be good for throwing?
Yes! I throw plumb hatchets in leagues and tournaments and they work great
I have a date tonight at an axe throwing bar and grill, thank you for this 🔥
Me too, but only I survived.
It's so funny where your video is sandwiched between
Are yall in Atlanta?
What is the brand and name of the axe that is used in this video
this man deserves more sub...i sub bro💪💪👀
This guy subs
There's a place right down the street from me. Should I?
Basic ideas:
1. To throw a normal wood axe you need to throw it hard
2. Distance is important so you don't overrotate it.
3. Practice with a thick board and if your fat axe doesn't stick to it throw it with more power.
you're welcome.
P.S. Practice in a well-thought-out and safe manner. Preferably at a safe distance from the target and with no people around who will judge you for doing silly stuff... they don't understand anything in this world.
I’m doing this soon and I have a feeling I am going to suck. 🤣
The butcher axe is a good axe but I like to use the corporal it drives it’s self most the way
Are those target boards made out of Pine?
Question is is it durable to chop wood ?
Watch the video n listen he answered ur question
The world: I swear, every American owns 10 guns and can throw axes.
Recorded horizontally:)
I thorw axes with my wife tomorrow so I'll let you know how I do!
thank you! I did great, even able to throw 2 axes at once and get them to land.
Okay so this kind of defeats the purpose I'm learning how to throw an axe
Considering you threw the axe back to front (I.e the wrong way round) and still stuck was impressive…
Grip it lightly!
My cousin sent this after making my birthday invitation for my birthday n 9 days Aries ♈️

We r axe throwing and experienced the most anger I’ve ever felt in life 😂
What's technique for decapitation?
Throw axe sidearm worked for me anyways
Viking throwing axes plus normal hatchets and axes.
Hatchets are for both
1:30 that’s what she said
i have a axe in my house but i uh use it for throwing at a completely useless wood figure to make my nerves calm
Unus annus could’ve used this
Who?
Thanks for the video but the golf club reference is really bad as you don’t line up your thumbs when gripping a club.
Who else watching right before they axe throw
Its all in the distance.
Hoards = kha-za-nah
So, throw axe at board? Got it.
You said don’t worry a boot
Do you think it would be hard for someone in a wheelchair to do axe throwing
Couldn't you speed up rotation
I tried these methods and it didn't work. Normal methods don't work for people like me.
Who came here after watching PREY ?
😂what a axe
That, my friend, is not an axe. The correct nomenclature is "hatchet ".
dorks
ok I take that back that was skills
I'm sure I can mess it up.
It's actually easier n it looks I went from not being able to make it Stay to being able hit target 95% of time n less n hour
dude's throwing an axe from three feet away
That's not an axe that's a hatchet
Not all axes are hatchets.
But all hatchets are axes.
Hatchet is a French word, I think French if I remember correctly, for small axe.
It's not really an axe...
It's a hatchet....
That's the gayest one hand axe throwing I've ever seen.
This didn’t help me. I did terrible.
Too much jabbering, not enough advice
What make of axe was that you were using? 🪓😃
Gotta start training before the next predator comes
