A utility pole passes by every 24 frames. That's 1.25 utility poles per second. Let's assume that the car is travelling at a rate of 85mph, the highest speed limit in the USA. In superior SI, this would be 38.00m/s. This would mean that the utility poles are spaced at a distance of 30.40 metres. This would not be realistic outside of an urban environment. A much more likely case would be that the car is severely over the speed limit. For example, if we assume that the utility poles are spaced 50 metres apart (which is very generous), we could conclude that the car is travelling at 62.5m/s, 225km/h, or 139.815mph.

after looking at this for an unspecified amount of time, I have come to realize that it looks like sunny's seat is backwards and his mom is rapidly reversing, judging by the windows

As a car nerd I can confirm the shape of the window is wacky, though you can tell the car is going the right way since the mirror triangle base thingy is visible and is in the direction it's going in

Sano's cover of the lyrcis are really pretty! God, I love how ridiculously nostalgic this sounds! The duet part reminds me of some of the old Pokemon themes, and the chiptune compliments the vocals so well.

I haven't listened to the full medley yet, but this cover already made me feel the most nostalgic I've ever felt for this game. I know it's only one year old by now, but it's already a part of my sea of memories.
I remember spoiling myself the second it came out like a fool, but I gave myself a second chance and bought it for a friend who has drifted ways. We had an amazing time, even managed to make her cry at the end.
I know these "quirky Earthbound inspired RPGs" come and go over the years, but I'm glad I was finally able to experience one myself. I bought RPGMaker a few weeks ago while it was on sale and I'm thinking of making one of my own sometime. It probably won't be as grand as OMORI, but it doesn't need to be.
Thank you for this wonderful cover. It managed to bring me back in time to early 2021, to a more simpler time. Now I have all sorts of things to worry about, such as driving school, applying for college and moving out for the 100th time, lol. It's nice remembering stuff, but you can't just linger on those memories, I suppose. Gotta carry on... Remember to keep up the good work and I wish you a great week! Gotta go listen to the original arrangement now.

This makes me emotional. I remember the first time I heard of Omori, it was through Bijuu Mike. I remember not understanding the whole story, but when good morning came on when he got the good ending, I started to cry. I was thinking: “What about Aubrey? Basil…?” And thinking about how I will never see them again, and how the series was over. I remember thinking about the characters, and I couldn’t even get a fork out the dishwasher without thinking about Omori. I also remember sitting on the floor of my room, crying, thinking about this song. I didn’t remember the whole tune, but I still was sad. But now I see there’s a fandom! I am now apart of the fandom, and good morning still makes me emotional. Thanks for this amazing cover!
