Life Is Strange is an episodic interactive drama graphic adventure video game developed by Dontnod Entertainment, and published by Square Enix. The game's plot focuses on Maxine Caulfield, a photography student who discovers that she has the ability to rewind time at any moment, leading her every choice to enact the butterfly effect. The game will consist of five episodes. With six to eight weeks between each episode, it released its first on 30 January 2015. Life Is Strange is available for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 via digital distribution.
In the game, story and character arc serve as the central point rather than traditional graphic adventure tropes like point-and-click puzzles. The player's actions will be able to adjust the narrative as it unfolds, and reshape it once allowed to travel back in time. Themes of memory and identity are used to convey an adolescent sense of nostalgia, while the allegory of inner struggle is derived from the mystical aspects.
Development of Life Is Strange began in April 2013. It was formed with an episodic format in mind, for reasons both financial and creative. The developers conducted research on the setting by travelling to the Pacific Northwest, and subverted known archetypes to make the characters. At release, Life Is Strange was acclaimed by critics, most of which praised the character development and game mechanic. It had sold one million copies by the end of July 2015.

Mari, I was experimenting a little bit with this part, and while Samuels voice play forward, if you rewind you can hear it perfectly. I did it based off of this, but I thought it would be cool to tell you that rewinding that forward voice will keep it forward and super clear. The one's I heard were:
- "What animals do you hear in the forest?"
- "My dad was a fisherman, he would take me out to hear the whales sing. Now they- they just cry."
- "Poor girl. The way she vanished like that."
-"The squirrels always come in the morning... for food."

The Nightmare sequence has to be one of my favorite parts of the whole five episodes- I was so excited throughout the whole let's play to hear Stacy's reacting to it.

It would have been more cool if you showed Stacy the map in the dorm that showed a room belonging to Rachel, its good to know why the certain rooms work.

Just want to say, this Let's Play is MUCH less interesting when one of you has already played. The joy of a Let's Play (for me, anyway) is the reaction of the unspoiled player.

I was waiting for Warren and Nathan since there was a Chloe and Victoria but nope
Why would Max care about Warren and Nathan kissing? The point of seeing Chloe kissing Victoria in the nightmare is that Max fears she's not enough for Chloe and Chloe isn't interested in her in that way.
"Lots of people yelled at me for not kissing Warren." Yea, I don't get why people can get so angry about you making the choice that you want in a CHOICE-BASED GAME. If they want to kiss Warren, they can play it themselves and choose that option.

By the way, if you say "Jefferson is a psychopath" you get another choice between "Jefferson hurt me" (leading back to this dialogue), "Let the past go" (which doesn't work) and "Don't leave me" which actually works too and is a pretty interesting option because it makes Max finally apologize sincerely for bailing on Chloe after her father died. I'm saying it because I, too, thought that "Jefferson hurt me" was clearly the right choice (which it is) but after seeing the other one in a different lp, I actually almost like that one more. So, something to remember for the inevitable next playthrough ;)
I think all of the graffiti of Victoria hate were actually done by her, just shows how insecure she is. Makes sense by what she writes in her diary

I can't stand people who call the dream sequence stupid. You try being drugged and have to go through all that and when you get out (if you even fucking do) YOU try being a fucking sunshine rainbow full of love. You're gonna go a little insane and be afraid.
Oh wait. But Jefferson killed Chloe so why was the tornado still coming for Arcadia bay? Is it Max who has to kill Chloe for the tornado to stop?
They also keep telling that the lighthouse is the only safe place but in the very very first vision the lighthouse is hit by a piece of debris and the top falls on top of Max which wakes her up. It may be because it's more of a dream than a vision...
I hate the whole thing where she has to get away from everyone and I hate it when everyone is standing still and telling shit...and when Chloe makes out with everyone...noooo

17:57 Personally, yes, I think Max has been dead since episode 1 since the top of the lighthouse fell on her in the opening cinematic. The entire game is, like the dialogue in Chloe's truck, Max's life flashing before her eyes. She needs to let go, her soul needs to move on, unfinished business, blah blah blah. The nightmare sequence is the game dropping all pretense of subtlety and smacking us, as the players, in the face repeatedly with that truth.
Rachel's text saying we would meet her soon? Jefferson's note telling Max she's dead (a threat, but what if it wasn't a threat)? And similar events... Granted, that's not my preferred head canon explanation, but I kept thinking that my first playthrough, and I haven't found a convincing reason to completely dismiss it.
That dream sequence is depicted so well how the universe is so fucked because of time travel
