That is incredible. Imagine how long that took to even excavate let alone decorate. That would have been people's work place for huge sections of their lifetimes. The art work is fantastic. Imagine it in its full glory. I wonder if the Pharoah got to see it in their lifetime?
If it takes the builders a large percentage of their lifetimes, & the Pharos had to order them built. We can assume most of the labor started out working as young as possible, while generally speaking most of the Pharos would’ve been considerably older. Deducing from that, it seems safe to assume that they would not get to see them most likely. Even todays humans don’t get to see their headstones lol. That’s assuming they’re all built according to all of our assumptions too though. We’re always having to backtrack on previously solid science, yet we still act like we already have the best knowledge about everything there is to be had at the current time.
@@CornPopsDood What would cause someone to backtrack on " previously solid science" Most of the time only some aspects of accepted theory are replaced. It is one of the more established fields of study after all.
The Pharaoh would see it in their lifetime, at least to 90% completion. Tutankhamun died early so his tomb wasn't close to ready or even started so they jammed him in a tomb meant for a wealthy elite outside of the Valley of the Kings, that's why his tomb was still complete, nobody expect a Pharaoh to be not in the VotK
I only heard "pounds" the 1st time through. Had another listen after your comment. Thanks! I thought if I ever get to Egypt, I'd like to see it, but was thinking if it were British pound it's more than I'd spend for that since I could use that for a decent flight somewhere else. 😂
@@jonathanrouse Congratulations! So have I. However, where I live now I pay a whopping $2.50--$3.50 for lunch including soup, entree, salad, rice, and fresh juice.
It seems to me, that back in the 90’s, there weren’t enough of us tourists to make gouging worthwhile. The Valley of Kings was easy and inexpensive to visit
Just my opinion, but they should let people with todays non invasive measuring tools, and high definition cameras in, and let us investigate. There is still so much history that we don't even get to see because it's hidden away. Seems like it's on purpose.
I just checked. 24 Eqyption pounds is equal to 1 USA dollar, so 1000£ Egypt= $41.67. Sounds cheap enough to me. I mean you already spent to go to Egypt. You would be foolish to not visit all the major tombs!

Looks great however pretty similar to other more then 20 tombs in the area. Don’t you think so?
They should create a duplicate identical tomb 😮.So that visitors don't damage the original one✔️⛑️
Did you forget to mention that taking any video inside the tomb will cost extra?
It’s only £25 Sterling. Sounded much more expensive at 1000 Egyptian pounds. Same price as climbing to see Big Ben in London.
And if the guards giving you information, they will ask for tips. It was such a turn off for me
Imagine building that deep under the ground without archificial light?? I think they must have had power
never heard of lamps
Well, I'm never going to Egypt now. I thought all the pyramids were free. It's not like they have to upkeep them
they making good money from it all
Amazing 🥲
What was it before the Egyptians turned it into a tomb?
What was that massive hole for?! Just a pitfall??
Instead of complaining about the price for the whole video, maybe you could tell us a little bit more about the history?
Wheelchair friendly?
If you fall, you will need wheelchair. So yes. 😅😅
£25 British, well worth it
Like hell I'm going to pay for something like this that should be free, not like they are the original owners
They desecrated the tombs of those important people in ancient times, it shouldn't have been like that. Not even ordinary people.
Cenas de um jogo, ou o interior real de uma pirâmide?
What is the music please?
All I can see is: claustrophobia😣
Is that black mould?
It's damaging the painting 😢
It is from those entering the tombs before electricity invention. It is smoke from fire torch

Thts like £25
A proper Tomb, built and dug into the ground. Not a Pyramid in sight!!
1000 Egyptian pounds is about 33 bucks us that's pretty cheap mate
Yeah. It being Indiana Jones party palace.
1000 Egyptian , so about £10 then.
Tego nie wykonali, nie zbudowali starozytni Egipcjanie. To przybysze z Gwiazd
You need to definitely do your homework theres no tombs and no mummies found ANYWHERE IN THE PYRAMIDS
