Hey you covered the Dinos we built for the Exhibition! I work at Creature Technology Co and I designed the structures of several of those dinos for the first Jurassic World Exhibition, including the Brachy, Parasaurolophus, T-Rex track and probably a whole bunch of other work that I've forgotten about. Just a slight correction though - we didn't build the creatures for the Live Show - they were built by Animax, and you can see a slightly different approach to the design and build of animatronics between ours and Animax creations if you stare at them long enough :)
I worked for the JW traveling exhibit, and I was always impressed by the animatronics your team built! I mentioned it in the other comments, but when working there, I so badly wanted to touch them and inspect the mechanics (safely of course).

@@mrscarytv8318 I wish they hadn't re-skinned them, it looks strange having the T-Rex and Velociraptors being one colour then another in different movies. The only reason I can see for doing this is to sell the same merchandise a second or third time, like toys.
Going on the Transformers and Harry Potter rides with their flat CGI screens just isn't the same. I get why it has to be that way, but still. Those are VR experiences, not rides.
I’m not sure if this is already a thing, but Universal should really incorporate Jurassic Park into its horror nights somehow. Maybe they could bring back the more terrifying version of the interactive encounter with the Spinosaurus.
I do think a Jurassic Park attraction at Halloween Horror Nights will be interesting, but also tricky because the attractions at Halloween Horror Nights are usually cramped and realistic looking Velociraptor costumes are huge
Aside from Jurassic Park in the Dark, it'd be cool to have a JP maze. Some of the current mazes have a few giant puppets. I'm sure they would be just as scary if they were Trex heads with the same jumpscare fx Horror Nights uses. Jurassic Park in the Dark should have scarier stuff at least.
Have you guys heard of the Jurassic Park Institute Tour? It was a museum/walk-through attraction that was in Japan and South Korea for a few years. Based on the videos I’ve seen on UA-cam, it was pretty neat, and a source of inspiration for yours truly! Edit: Did you see the new Indominus rex animatronic in Jurassic World the Ride? It’s quite impressive!
Yea looks awesome. I have gotten to see the reg t rex in universal cali in person. They told me the ride wouldnt jump at me- that was an effing lie bout crapped my pants when that thing came at me from the ceiling. IT LOOKS SO REAL
I used to work at the traveling Jurassic World exhibition. As an animatronic-enthusiast, I ALWAYS had the urge to touch the animatronics. However I did get a chance to get into the raptor puppet suits which weighed a TON. Props to the puppeteers.
The only thing that had to do with Dracula was the way they filmed The bedroom scene with the girl in the bed as a Indo raptor came in from off the roof it was supposed to mimic how Dracula used to come in to the house to get his victims.. the dinosaur itself Had no inspiration from Dracula
I'm in my 30s. I literally grew up with Jurassic Park. It sparked my still on going interest for dinosaurs. Well on the downside it got me marked as weird in my childhood because in the 90's "Girls aren't allowed to like thism here take a Barbie" No thanks, I'll take the Parasaurolophus, thank you very much :'D
Also in my 30s and a woman, lol. Had all the Jurassic Park toys and was absolutely obsessed with dinos. Boys were usually surprised by that. But here's the thing, I also loved Barbies. But if I was playing with Barbies, my JP dinos weren't left out. I would pretend they were attacking my Barbie Dream House. I'd have em come through the little windows and attack Ken and stuff. Hehe.
Here here! Another 30's woman here, JP still remains my all-time favorite movie. I wanted to be a paleontologist once upon a time but alas, it was not to be lol. Did you ever watch Walking With Dinosaurs on Discovery back then? I swear I committed every one of the dinos on that special to memory lmao.
Holy. Mind blown. I thought Blue in Fallen Kingdom looked real, but her movements were so realistic and lifelike that I thought there’s no way an animatronic would be able to pull that off, she must be CGI. To learn that actually was an animatronic makes the whole thing so much better.
I often wonder if they'll ever harness the powers of wifi or bluetooth, imagine a completely robotic dinosaur whose moves could be programmed through computer, if built properly they could run smooth enough to look neatly 100% real.
The Spinosaurus animatronic that they used for jp3, was the largest one that they built at the time and it was the fastest. It litterally ripped off the head from the t rex animatronic.
I went last year for the first time and Jurassic park is my favorite movie. Growing up, I used to dream of going to the Jurassic park ride ever since I saw a POV on UA-cam of it. With the release of Jurassic World I saw the OG ride was changed in California and I assumed it did the same in Orlando. The relief I had when it was the OG one. I think I cried because my inner child was so fulfilled.
The reason I always love these movies and enjoying watching these movies are the uses of practical effects in these movies are spectacular. Sure the first Jurassic World movie only have one animatronic. But thankfully Fallen Kingdom has alot uses of animatronic and practical effects and I love it. Say what you want about Fallen Kingdom despite it's flaws, but you can't deny how impressive the uses of animatronic dinosaurs in that movie. My personal favourites are the Trex animatronic when Owen and Claire try not to wake the animal and get her blood to heal Blue. And my another favourite of mine, it has to be Blue The Velociraptor animatronic when the characters are removing the bullet that got stuck inside Blue body. That scene is my favourite because it really reminds me so much of the animatronic for the Baby T Rex in The Lost World Jurassic Park. Also you can see emotion between Blue and Owen in that scene when Blue is still hurt after got shot by one of the mercenaries.
I made a mistake on another video about the Exhibition dinosaurs not having feathers but since I was corrected. Only raptors and I think some flyers had feathers. So I hope they have feathered raptors. I might go and see after the pandemic is over because it looks so fun. Also, I can't stop thinking about a T-Rex covered in feathers. XD
