DCS the only game where landing on a runway will ghost you right through the ground and then shoot you into the stratosphere in pieces .... DCS has more bugs in it than Hillary CLintons vagina and cost for addon jets is the same as a single AAA game .. in the end both are great games , just depends on how long you want to sit on the runway before you can actually move and join the battle....lol I personally fly both of them.. bootlegged DCS with a buttload of addons ..save me like $900.00... and I really like the fact that DCS support VR.. and now I can't wait for ARMA 4 and the Infusion Engine ua-cam.com/video/of7k4sksHQs/v-deo.html&t
Basically this: If you want to play war in a combined arms environment where you can run around, shoot, drive tanks, fly aiplane, parachute from airplane, do amphibious seal team assaults, etc. etc. etc. play Arma. If you want to just fly a specific plane or helicopter, use DCS (but you can't leave the plane, can't run around, can't do anything other than fly that specific thing). They are really only comparable on a surface level. Basically breadth vs depth.
Your "Blackfoot" sure looks like a Commanche, that only 2 were ever made that flew. I worked at Sikorski and was able to see one being built with no skins on the outside.
Nice comparison, which software would you recommend for a beginner who is interesting in piloting a helicopter? My last experience is years ago with Battlefield 2, I hated the Jets but Helis were a lot of fun.
ARMA 3, the only game where hitting a rock will launch you Into the stratosphere

Lol arma flight sim is more for kids and arcade players , is mor focused on ground combat etc. dcs hands down is the ultimate flight combat sim

What if Arma had vehicle and aircraft controls similar to dcs…
I've learned a lot with this video! Thank you!
dcs world is good but arma 3 is the best

Can you do the same tests using the helicopter on MSFS2020, please?
Much thanks for this video!
at least you don't hide it

If you prefer a focus on the ground war, Arma. If you like the helicopters themselves, DCS
Pog?
Great explanations, mate. You should have many more likes, this vid is light for the noobs!
Damn you lucky you got a good pc
Hey, Arma 3 Helicopters(DLC) adds in much more complicated controls for the game.
