Currently running Blue Alpha Gear belts but I have an interest in the current offerings from shops utilizing modern plastics like the Defense Mechanisms, Ferro, and AXL belts. There's trade-offs with everything but if that is where the industry is going then it's worth looking into.
I run the GBRS Assaulter Belt V2. No major complaints. I do also have several of the old school padded war belts from various manufacturers that are kept in vehicles and other places for emergency grab and go usage.
Currently running a Blue Alpha Belt that I have had for a few years now. It is a slick outer (no MOLLE Webbing) and I just use one wrap straps to attach the majority of my attachments. Considering getting a belt with the MOLLE sections on the outside, specifically the GBRS Group Assaulter Belt System V3. Also watching Shot Show coverage for 2024 and Agilite Gear has announced their new belt! Currently waiting on release date
Possibly, but there really isn’t much to outer belts. They are all pretty much the same with the exception of the BFG CHLK Belt (our favorite belt here) for outer belts and our ICEVENTS® Inner Belt for inner belts.
The AWS and Ronin ( Solid Colors) also hold the most amount of weight. I have no issue running 3 pistol mag 1 AR, dump, multi tool, medical, knife, pistol. My gcode couldn't do it, and the blue force gear doesn't hold it either.
I'm running the HRT ARC Belt and would love to hear your thoughts on belts that utilize Tegris. It'll be interesting to see it stacks with the weight savings. Also, the ARC belt has a similar curve to the belt like the Blue Force Gear so I believe it would be a good comparible option.
Running the AXL…pretty good and really Lightweight but that tegris edge is really though after a long day. The qore inner belt looks like it would solve that
I got my shuto wrong size. Supposed to be a "S" but i bought the "M". I forgot this is American size and not Asian size. So how do i remedy this without going to some mediocre tailor or reselling it?
I run the Kore range belt for 3 big reasons, fast adjustability, stiff support and outstanding quality. Is there anything else? And thats why we carry them in our FFL here in Tampa.
Blue Alpha Gear will probably make the review line up for 2023 if it gets enough votes. Same with HRT or any other brand. It all comes down to votes in the comments.
Im running the same HTC hook and loop belt that was issued to me 8 years ago, is my daily range belt since l am a full time firearms instructor for my police department. I like the belt so much that l bought a second one for my daily off-duty carry.
The BFG CHLK Belt is our favorite rated belt, by far. So much so, in fact, that we teamed up with Blue Force Gear to design our ICEVENTS® Inner Belt to be perfectly compatible with it: www.qoreperformance.com/collections/duty-belt/products/icevents-inner-belt
I got my chlk belt from a buddy but upon using the range ice vents I’ve realized now I need to get a smaller size and I refuse to use 2 belt systems anymore XD I think I’m leaning towards the aws since although I really want the grid belt it is just so pricey and I don’t have a way to sell my 32 sized chlk belt (legacy)
I personally run and love the Ferro Concepts BISON BELT. However, as far as I love it's looks and ridgidity, imho it isn't worth the proce to buy it again.
Their FCPC V5 is legit if you watched our Technical Plate Carrier Review series on it, but it will be interesting to see how the Bison stacks up in testing during this series.
I've been wearing a Snake Eater Tactic war belt set up. Also have a generic web belt running through a wilder tactical belt bad. I love both for different reasons. I Just ordered the new blue alpha gear belt, waiting to get my hands on it.
Sound editing is rough. Great detailed videos for sure, but the sound is so bad on them all. From the TV, iPad, and computer it’s all the same. Low and rumble.
listen im running what i can afford, but please for the love of god, TAKE THE SOCK OFF OF YOUR MIC. You do not need it indoors, and this is really hard to listen to because of it. The difference when switching to this video is immediately noticable and it made me not want to watch your content.
Blue Force Gear is highly overrated. Their products are stupid expensive and really arent all that great. They got popular because of their slings and their relationship with vickers, but really dont deserve the praise. Their belts are suoer expensive and my AWS holds more weight and is cheaper.
BFG belts is an apples to oranges comparison to the AWS. They're not remotely the same design or materials, and the CHLK is a niche belt for people rigging to helos or SPIEs, aka people who do this stuff for a living and not on a weekend. AWS is cheaper because they've been selling the same design for years. BFG is innovating with new designs and materials technology. BTW, the AWS founder is Tu Lam's father and Im pretty sure they make the Ronin belts. The company is local to me here in Fayetteville
You guys do by far the best breakdowns when it comes to personal equipment.
Thank you! Much appreciated.
I run the AWS SMU and their LAB belts love them and a great company for other products as well.
Lead Devil. Best belt I've ever used. Best customer service out there. Made in the USA.
Solid company. Great Americans.
Currently running Blue Alpha Gear belts but I have an interest in the current offerings from shops utilizing modern plastics like the Defense Mechanisms, Ferro, and AXL belts. There's trade-offs with everything but if that is where the industry is going then it's worth looking into.
Skip the Ferro and go with the DM belt.
@@TROY-MCCLURE-1991 Way ahead of you. I was only referencing Ferro and AXL. DM is my preferred over the others.
Just ordered my Subsecond 3.0 belt. Excited to see how it does
I was wondering if you can do a breakdown on the ronin task force belt I need an technical breakdown of that bill before I buy it
I run the GBRS Assaulter Belt V2. No major complaints. I do also have several of the old school padded war belts from various manufacturers that are kept in vehicles and other places for emergency grab and go usage.
Would def put Kore Essentials at the top of this list for their ability to adjust to my exact waist size and their stiffness!

Lead Devil is the stiffest meaning the holsters and mag pouches don't lean or droop.
Will there be a 2024 version of this soon?
Possibly, but there really isn’t much to outer belts. They are all pretty much the same with the exception of the BFG CHLK Belt (our favorite belt here) for outer belts and our ICEVENTS® Inner Belt for inner belts.
The BFG belt uses Tegris, so it would be cool to see it compared to other Tegris belts.
Like the HRT ARC, DM Mech, Axl Eclipse and Ferro Bison.
It doesn't have any tegris
Been running the same duty belt for 18 years. Bianchi Acumold. It’s dingy and broken internally. Time for an upgrade.
The AWS and Ronin ( Solid Colors) also hold the most amount of weight. I have no issue running 3 pistol mag 1 AR, dump, multi tool, medical, knife, pistol. My gcode couldn't do it, and the blue force gear doesn't hold it either.
It will be interesting to see how these various models stack up in testing during this series.
What do you mean the BFG couldn't do it? I have more weight loaded on mine and it supports it extremely well.
I see 3 of the aws smu’s in the tag photo. I’ve run a few belts and only run the SMU now. I think it’s the best balance of performance/longevity/money
Great breakdown. Looking forward to the detailed vids. Would love to get your take on the Bison belt from Ferro Concepts and the belt from Matbock.
AwS. Love they give the option to choose a 1.5 inner belt. Best price for a battle quality belt. I love mine.
I want to compare lead devil with ronin shuto, persec belt, aws belt, safe life belt and blue alpha molle belt. thank you
I'm running the HRT ARC Belt and would love to hear your thoughts on belts that utilize Tegris. It'll be interesting to see it stacks with the weight savings. Also, the ARC belt has a similar curve to the belt like the Blue Force Gear so I believe it would be a good comparible option.
Running the AXL…pretty good and really
Lightweight but that tegris edge is really

For sure. We’ve heard that about the AXL from quite a few customers. Totally consistent. ICEVENTS INNER BELT will def solve that problem.

I run the Kore range belt for 3 big reasons, fast adjustability, stiff support and outstanding quality. Is there anything else? And thats why we carry them in our FFL here in Tampa.
I’m shocked HRT and Blue Alphas Tegris belts didn’t make it on the list.
Blue Alpha Gear will probably make the review line up for 2023 if it gets enough votes. Same with HRT or any other brand. It all comes down to votes in the comments.
Second this, seems like an interesting belt and I’m also curious to see how it stacks up.
Got my Defensive mechanisms belt today, that thing is comfy! I'm pumped to get it out and get some reps in
Gbrs and subsecond belts are awesome
Im running the same HTC hook and loop belt that was issued to me 8 years ago, is my daily range belt since l am a full time firearms instructor for my police department. I like the belt so much that l bought a second one for my daily off-duty carry.
Htc sucks
@@alexgreen4005 I knew those guys personally and worked in Iraq with them, plus a 300 Dollar belt is not going to make you an operator.
@@timoanez4668 well I’m glad to have served with them aswell, Afghanistan 2017-18. But I’d rather have my belt set to my own preferences
@@alexgreen4005 Cool, l'll saved my money and buy more ammo.
@@timoanez4668 I luckily train on the boss’s expense
Ended up going with the lead devil over the bison belt
Smart choice.
What belt is better AWS or Ronin?
Absolutely love my AWS SMU
Great video, where can I find a designer for Tactical belts? I want to make a custom one and need a good source, thanks.
I want a rated belt. I like aws but they are not rated. I know gbrs is but its so expensive anyone got an in-between?
The BFG CHLK Belt is our favorite rated belt, by far. So much so, in fact, that we teamed up with Blue Force Gear to design our ICEVENTS® Inner Belt to be perfectly compatible with it:

Need a belt and tactical holster for my (Smith & Wesson M&P9 M2.0 Full-Size 9mm holosun Optic) pistol still, any suggestions?
I run an AWS SMU with a Safariland 6360RDS for mine.
Will the final inner belt have the same black material used in the ice vents pads, or will it be the blue material seen in some of the photos?
Black
Awesome 😎
i bought varusteleka belt because they said its expensive and made in germany so obviously it cant be anything but premium quality product
I have blue alpha gear and volund gear works belts, but am always looking for ways to improve comfort over time
I personally run and love the Ferro Concepts BISON BELT. However, as far as I love it's looks and ridgidity, imho it isn't worth the proce to buy it again.
Their FCPC V5 is legit if you watched our Technical Plate Carrier Review series on it, but it will be interesting to see how the Bison stacks up in testing during this series.
@@QorePerformanceUSA I configured it to my needs and it's the best carrier I've ever owned.
For me the Ronin Task Force Belt is the best. ZERO complaints.
I've been wearing a Snake Eater Tactic war belt set up. Also have a generic web belt running through a wilder tactical belt bad. I love both for different reasons. I Just ordered the new blue alpha gear belt, waiting to get my hands on it.
Ferro Concepts inner belt is different than all of these. You should check it out
Are any of these belts rated for rappell?
lead devil i believe.
HRT Arc and sub-second operator 3.0.
GBRS! That thing is solid!! Running rolling climbing! It’s a part of you!
Sound editing is rough. Great detailed videos for sure, but the sound is so bad on them all. From the TV, iPad, and computer it’s all the same. Low and rumble.
I like the HRT ARC belt.
Definitely need the HRT AXl, new Blue Alpha, Defense Mech and the Kore belt in the next review
Trex arms speed belt please
I don't see kore battle belts ever compared... any reason
Ciguera inner and battle wagon belts
Please do the sub second belt
AWS SMU gang coming in strong in the comments 💪
Could you please review the GBRS belt?
Thanks, Matt
I like my defense mechanisms belt
Great video, by any chance, do you know of a good textile designer that can help me produce my new belt? Please do DM me thanks.
The Ferro Bison should get covered
Any leather belts don't like expensive nylon and plastic. Need a gun belt for armed patrol guard.
Let’s get a Subsecond belt on the next video.
HSGI SLIM GRIP PADDED BELT
I think Gcode gets forgot about I’ve tried 3 of these and Gcode is heads and tails better
We’ll be including G-Code in the 2024 update video we’ve got in the pipe now.
Subsecond patrol v2
Core makes the better belt over these imho
Safe life tactical belt Never had a problem with it
Koré essential battle belt
AWS
Ronin!
Ronin TF belt
Horrible audio..
Good thing nobody watching it for that
You sound like a snobby film student
The Ronin is my go to... solid!
Ferro
Ytr tactical
