Was so excited about this then you said 180 degrees. Even my old model goes down to 170 degrees. You guys need one that drops to 150 degrees. Cause 180 does not make good jerky.
I just purchased this unit. It was not cheap. However, the Bluetooth app sucks. After many attempts with customer service, still can not connect it. The smoker itself is not bad. This is my 2nd Louisiana grill. My previous one worked better which I still have.
What would cause the LG100 catch on fire in the hopper? The hopper lid was closed and the grill was clean. It would take all new parts to fix it because it melted everything.
Love mine but wish the temp would go to 150 and a few other small thing that would make this the only pellet grill. They are so close to cornering the market and are getting in their own way
Hahaha. Read this right after I posted mine. I don't get why the pros have no clue about that stuff. There is a new Traeger that does it now.

Is the folding side shelf available at this time??? Customer Service told me the current one doesn't fold down...
Not a fan yet of my 800 but will do best to try to warm up to it. Irritated. Didn’t want to be a sell out with treager and haven’t but it this thing keeps being poor I might. I hear gorilla grills are great
On December 09, 2022 my Louisiana BL 1000 series malfunctioned and burned 4 briskets I was cooking for a party. The smoking pot was almost in flames showing 500 degrees the first time burning 2 briskets. As I thought it was due to ash left in the burn pot I cleaned it thoroughly and threw in two more brisket and learned fast that the smoker is no good. The smoker burned $300 worth brikset and when I contacted the customer care the service I received was subpar. $300 lost due to mother board failure.
Do they have PID temperature controllers?
why no pellet dump feature?? this is keeping me from purchasing
This grill holds temperature good as long as you dont use the app. Beside the app only works for a couple functions The app was difficult to set up as it automatically went to updating the firmware, but then wouldn't move past phase one if your screen turns off then would not move past phase two unless your screen did turn off. The timer doesn't start on the app and when the app is running the temp is out by about 30 to 35 degrees. When you go to the web site to contact them you get to type in your issues and then like everything else with this company when you click submit nothing happens.

I have this exact grill with the , love the unit so much , the app is glitching all the time and I can’t turn the smoker on with it , all the wifi etc are hooked up . Please help

You can only turn this unit OFF and not ON. This is for safety reasons.
When are these going to be released? You announced the founder series over a year ago and those are still not available.
I heard that the Founder series won't become available until the fall.
Just got off the phone with Louisiana Grills, they do not know when the Black Label or the Founder's Series will be released. He was guessing it would be in the Fall of 2020, but that was only a guess.
Loved my Z grille. This thing is bothering me. My 1st run at this unit. Spent a a lot of bucks on this and not impressed.
Won’t turn off and new machine. 30 minutes and still could get burgers to cook. Sorry I bought this device. Had a less expensive device and worked much better.
I purchased this grill with good faith from Costco in 2021, so far, I have replaced the fan three times the computer port two times igniter one time temperature probe two times. There’s support is excellent, but keeps breaking and they’re ship me the same defective parts over and over. Had many problems with this unit caught on fire two times so finally I decide I will take it back to Costco and get my refund.
Jeff, super disillusioned bought this grill a year ago and for the entire year I’ve waited while your attempt at an iOS app to allow the Bluetooth/wifi to work has been a total flop. There is no other app I’ve ever experienced that literally won’t even load. I’ve deleted and reinstalled it on numerous devices and always just a blank white screen. I dropped $2000 on this elite bbq and the main selling features are simply a sham. Talk about being deceived. Compared to a $15 smart light bulb I bought for the kids and it’s app works flawlessly. Very disheartened
DO NOT BUY!! Worst pellet grill I’ve ever experienced!! Temperature control is terrible! And the damn thing is always goin out. Can’t cook a brisket in a setting. TERRIBLE Grill. Honestly one of the worst products I’ve ever tried.
