  • Upon entering the Bob Marshall wilderness, I had a few more high routes in mind. First, the famous Chinese Wall. We climbed onto the top of the wall, and walked along the edge for 12 miles to its end at Larch Hill Pass. I continued over to Spotted Bear Pass, then climbed up Redhead Peak and traversed across the Three Sisters. Some more ridge-walking and a couple steep gullies brought me to Sock Lake, where I regained the CDT and continued north to Glacier National Park.
After climbing Pitamakan and Triple Divide Passes on the CDT and dropping down to Saint Mary Lake, we again left the trail to climb up Gunsight Pass. From here, we embarked on the Floral Park Traverse, a high route that crosses the Sperry Glacier and other remote basins in a loop back toward Logan Pass.
From Logan Pass, the Highline Trail carried us the rest of the way, reaching the Canadian Border and the northern terminus of the Continental Divide Trail at Waterton Lake.
