The LARGEST Ship in The Navy Has A GIANT Problem. Today's video will analyze the different technologies that make the Ford-class aircraft carrier so great. But in order to understand that, we will look at why the Navy needed to replace tried-and-true technology in the first place. Any one see them do a hot deck rearm? Once in air what sort of experience do their fighter jocks an against who? And lastly what sort of history does their Navy have "fighting the ship"? Just a few questions from a seriously old white hat.
The US ship making capability is less than 1%, but the China's ship building capability is over 60% of the world. China has most advanced ship building technology. The US made carriers that have so many problems like "A dorr can not open," "Plumming failed," etc. The problem is common to Boeing airplane, GM cars, and etc. Magnetic capapalt does not work, so they reworked steam power catapalt. Too many quality issues. China navy has more btalle ships now and the difference in Navy size just grow now on.
China is very behind the US in terms of Navy ships. Maybe you are talking about commercial ships, which the US does not care about as much.
@@Election-sv6ok The US has only 350 battleship, but CHian has already over 400 modern new battle ship. As you know, the US navy ships are mostly over 30 years old.
@@americanknow8232 China is far behind in technology. Those 400 plus would be obliterated easily. There is still a huge gap between US and China in battle tech.
@@Election-sv6ok Whihc battle tech? Pentagon can't make even a single hypersonic missile working. China create 70% of the world drones. Pentagon is asking Japanese to see if they can make the drone for them. Which battle tech are you talking about?
@@americanknow8232 China cannot project it's force. It has three aircraft carriers that are limited to very near areas to China. Its ships are also not as synchronized as US ships. US advantage is how its entire battle ships work together in unison. The ships also travel around the world. Drones are easily shot down.
