Love your channel.. thank you for these reviews... my Aful Snowy Night arrived, and wow am I impressed. Sounds fantastic. love it.. good stuff. I also have the Simgot Dew4X and its quite good as well but the Snowy Night for me was a noticeable improvement and not by a small margin.. not large either .. but just right.

Thanks, as far as I can tell, AP90 to me would appear offering a bit more of edgy sound (for an AKM based device) and less colored with highs and lows. The main difference between the two of them would be the timbre and energy where I would say Snowy Night would be a tad more graceful with the transient energy and AP90 a bit bolder/crisper. Then AP90 is one of the examples of AKM DAC that is tuned to sound like stock ESS Sabre, and Snowy Night is more AKM sounding than the AKM of AP90, lol, if that makes any sense at all - I am just trying to say Snowy Night has closer interpretation to organic/analog sound vs AP90

Thanks, yes Snowy Night offers dense and rich lows and highs to complement Falcon Ultra, they will synergize great. You get crisp and fairly analog sounding output

That is true, with the standards reaching stable new heights, it will be hard to find something not impressive, small differences will determine which one a consumer will like over the other. But anyway it is good to have choices

I am Bluetooth dongle poor lol 😂. I have Q15, BTR7, BTR15, BTR5 2021, ifI Gryphon, Go Blu. I’m a nut or a glutton for punishment 🤣. Excellent review on the Snowy Night. Kudos Andy 👍….is there a chance you could do a review on the BTR7..?

Would you go with the Aful Snowynight or the Moondrop Dawn Pro or the fiio q11? Looking for something mobile that can drive my HD58X Jubilee and FIIO JT1.
Between those two I am more inclined for Snowy Night

BL-03 being warm and smooth, it is something I would regard as 9/10 towards analog sound

Smoother? Yes M1P, Snowy Night is more focused on being crisper sounding. Natural, neutral and realistic, that's AUNE Yuki followed closely by M2

For neutral & transparent sound, there's a lot to choose from. I personally would recommend iBasso DC07Pro or ONIX Alpha now

Is the AFUL snowy night an upgrade to Moondrop Dawn Pro?
Not really an upgrade, they are more or less the same, except that Snowy Night offers a little more weight to the body of sound
@@donglemadness thanks for your feedback. I actually bought AFUL performer 5 and used it with Moondrop dawn pro and also Onix Alpha after watching your video. I think dawn pro not resolving enough. And Onix is too analog? I’m not sure but Onix alpha doesn’t pair with AFUL p5 good enough. However the vocal was sweet, Onix paired well enough with Final Audio E3000. Now I’m looking a better amp for AFUL p5. Any suggestion? Fiio KA5?KA17?
You might like Shanling UA4, a bit more of studio sound

@@donglemadness i think didn’t give myself enough time to appreciate it’s greatness. Now I start to understand what you mean by more analog and natural. Onix definitely better. More dynamic and soundstage is bigger. Thanks for your patient though.
Dc04 pro is one of my favorite 100$ due to the way it controls timbre i just become fan😅 waiting for trying out the snowy night

Should have named it BFUL. AFUL sounds like Awful. Seems to me like the iBasso DC03 pro is strong competition to this, if you don't need balanced.
