He was killed on the scene. He was tortured for over 7 minutes and then dragged across the pavement like trash and flipped onto a stretcher. No CPR, not even taking his pulse.

What needs to be done is they need to get black balled from serving in any police department and working in security. These men are not mentally capable of handing such jobs. They also need to lose their pensions and not get paid while this investigation is going on. I don't get why police officers who are under investigation after murdering someone still get paid. Cops need to be held accountable like every other citizen is. There is nothing that should keep them from being treated like a murderer, you gonna act like one you get treated like one.

Barry O'Connor In the video his body was lifeless when the ambulance arrived, and he had urinated on himself, which is what happens when you die. If they knew he had medical conditions, it would have made even better sense not to jam your knee into his neck with pressure. Lies. They told off on themselves. If he was crying that he could not breathe, it would have made sense to stop and tend to him, of course, that’s if you’re a human with a soul.
The color seeps slowly out of the face of George Floyd as that cop continues to press down on him. Check the beginning of the video and then go to the end where his face is ashen gray. Personally I regret watching this video on twitter. Did not know what this was all about. Rest in Peace, Mr. Floyd, and blessings to your loving family and may God give them strength to seek justice.

Former EMT here. In all likelihood, he died shortly after he passed out, and was already dead when they put him on the stretcher. They didn't announce his death until at the hospital, hence, that's where he legally died. It's so they do lifesaving measures like CPR en route to the hospital, which, I did not see here.

No way he died in the hospital, he died right in front of us, on the hard cold street...and we've all seen that..
He stopped moving & showing any kind of response whatsoever with bystanders pleading to "check his pulse" because you can see he expired. Yet the cop held his knee for a solid 5 more minutes. When the ambulance arrived, they made no attempt whatsoever to revive him & simply threw him on the gurney. I'm a white guy & am usually outraged by black communities rioting. But I gotta say, If they don't prosecute these assholes, I advocate for burning down the ENTIRE city.
That made me so mad when I saw that man's eyes close and he went silent. Those other cops just stood around while that other cop was doing that. They didn't say get off of him or anything.

But regular germans ( whites) could not stand and watch so they step in and protect those black guys . That was the most emotional thing i have seen . No, the WORST thing that could've happen to someone jumping in to get that officer's knee off of his neck would've been that someone would've gotten shot! The crowd was already being & pleading for the officer to get off the man's neck! At one point, the officer looked directly into the camera while still maintaining his knee pressure to that man's neck! The Asian officer stepped to some guy in the crowd, but when the crowd pushed back with their aggression, he backed up. It appeared that he had his hand on his gun, slightly in fear of some crowd resistance. No, I'm glad no one made a drastic move becuz we may have ended up witnessing 2 homicides!! smh

I share your fervour, but the last thing we want for the victim is an acquittal of these cops. They need to be convicted of at least one type of homicide charge, be it negligent homicide, manslaughter or murder. Sadly, the sentencing prospects for these charges are rather different, so I really hope they’ll at least get a few years prison time. It’s infuriating, but I tell you, getting these cops into court will be hard enough in this racist climate. I would like to give you more hope, but I’m rather pessimistic a person. I shake my head at the ridiculousness of these things still occurring in this day and age. When will this ever stop‽

Note: this video is only 30 seconds longer than the amount of time that Mr. Floyd had a knee on his neck. Consider the restriction of not only air flow, but arterial blood flow to his brain. He suffered every second until he died on that street while surrounded by a crowd of teenagers (CHILDREN!!) begging the officers to stop, seeing this poor man die in front of them.

I saw enough of the video to make me turn it off because I was getting so physically upset (when I clicked on it, I didn't know it was the whole thing). I saw people commenting on FB things like "If he was talking, he was breathing"... This is obvious ignorance. The man died because he couldn't breathe.
