Oh, I’m in love with this! I grew up having my brother play the Riot! album by Paramore all the time in the car when it came out and I loved it! It’s what got me into that type of music and now I love rock too so this is a perfect cover. It really takes me back to being 7 years old, in the car with my brother and mom, driving a few hours to take my brother to camp in a city we’ve never been. I always pretended I didn’t really like that music because I didn’t want my brother to know that I liked his music, since he never let me play mine, and it was still playing in the cd player when we were driving back home after dropping him off when my mom caught me lip syncing and lightly head banging to it. So she turned it up loud enough the car was shaking and vibrating and we jammed out together as we took the scenic route home instead of the freeway. After she teased me for actually liking it even though I insisted I didn’t of course lol. I love long car rides and sightseeing so it was a great memory for me. My favorite song on that album was (and still is) That’s What You Get, so if you ever revisit the Riot! album for another cover, I’d really love to see that one. If you’d like to of course 🥰🫶🏻
