Thanks for keeping it real! It helps to see that others have the same kind of mornings as I do. Makes me feel “normal” 💕

hi, Amy! I know the feeling of finding a thing that 'works', getting enthusiastic, just to discover it was probably the novelty effect or placebo. I know the pain. I know you try to adapt yourself to it all the time and accept it, but you shouldn't. at least you shouldn't feel like that as a patient within the healthcare system. I once told my GP I was used to pain, pain was fine. he scolded me for that. he was right. I now harbour a lot of dissent for the medical system, for having neglected chronic illness research for so long. it motivates me to advocate for fellow sufferers.
I feel like stabilizing your mast cells, if not 'the missing piece', could be important to improving your overall wellbeing. MCAS symptoms can be diffuse and can even mimic other chronic illnesses. for example, I never knew my GERD was a MCAS symptom, until I learnt it the bad way. it's a weird, diffuse and complex illness, but it's worth studying it a bit more. I am about to go on this journey myself (applying things backed my scientific evidence). I will let you know in a couple of months if anything functioned.

You do a fantastic job. I’m 35 and I recently let go of the idea of having kids because of my health and chronic pain l/illness & well being single LOL 😝

You nailed it. I’m lucky my kids are now adults, how I managed when they were younger is beyond me.

I loved this. I also wake up slowly when my body is ready. I always feel better after I'm dressed and have combed my hair, so I almost always make time for that... and making my bed.

Aw, I love this!! So creative😍. And it's crazy to see how similar our mornings are! The must-do's, the usuals, and the rest all happen in my morning routine too. Currently resting now😊.

Mornings are tough, so I just remind myself I'll feel better (physically and mentally) in a few hours haha

Like the “must do” and “usuals” - I’ve come to a complete stop and have two children so I’m on here looking for help and not to feel so alone with chronic illness and parenting

Love this. I think that if I didn't have a baby coming every morning for care I would sleep in and drag. I get the twins homeschooled during baby naps and pick a cleaning chore after 2. I nap from 4 to 5. Long days.

I got another baby coming in a few months and I'm sure everything will change, yet again! Haha.

@@Aimee_Esther I'm not- I am in survival mode. I'm stretched thin like most and sleep all day Saturdays. 😴 I babysit bc babies help my pain (and give me a schedule but also sleep alot). The less pain must be a chemical or hormonal thing. It's crazy how it helps. We all just survive differently. I love watching others ideas thou.

Now I read the Bible or Book of Mormon during nap/quiet time. I can't get myself up earlier enough this year. As long as I still get it into my day somewhere! 😊
