Wow, somewhere I already saw this inconspicuous guy)) And, I remembered, this is my friend and companion from the distant USA. Good luck to you and the channel !!!
ok i have spent an hour trying to get my path tool to do more that one line. I am having to double click on the second node to continue and then i end up with a non closed polygon. I must have a basic setting wrong in my path tool, but I can't figure it out. also i can not figure out how to display the node settings on the right side of the screen
I know I'm late and you probably would have found out by now but he is using Inkscape - a free vector graphics editor. Just type Inkscape and you will be able to download it. He also has a playlist on how to use Inkscape.
That's a good question. I'm adding them manually, :), here's what I do. Bring the video into Shotcut, export a still image of the frame I want to freeze and draw a box on. Bring that frame into Inkscape, draw the box, then export it again. Bring that image back into Shotcut! It sounds like a lot of work, but I do all 30 frames at once, and it goes quick. I love the flexibility that Inkscape gives to just about any video editor.
It is really neat all the things you can do with Inkscape. I never thought of using it for art. Thanks for this tutorial.
I agree, John. I'm discovering new ways to use Inkscape all the time!

Thank you for the knowledge !
Are those blue rectangles a feature of your screen recorder, or do you add them using your video editor?
