That ran pretty darn good! thanks for putting Yeller in with some really good company. The 2 best Mopar channels on UA-cam! 318willrun and JustMoparJoe
Good info on the late model V-6. I had a 2000 short van with the old 3.9 & it was really anemic. Again, thanks for the 318 Duster build & track performance. My grandson has my old 75 Duster (a Gold Duster) with 318. I used a later model 360 Thermoquad intake & carb, a little bit of a camshaft & the 360 HP exhaust manifolds, stock torque converter. I'm trying to get him to leave it as stock appearing as possible with a Thermoquad. So far so good.
Great video, love your content, at 6:16 in whats the deal with those crazy clouds you have over there, all crossed up and straight. Never seen before, weird!
Truck runs good. Your friend has a nice Duster also. We have a v6 Challenger GT. I’d like to take it to TnT, but the wife might get me, since it’s technically her car 😂😂
The 3.6 computer is a learning conputer. That computes based off of airflow calulations. You can port the intakes, put a larger throttle body. And the coputer will adjust for fuel and you will make more hp. Stock is 76mm tb can run an 85 and over time conputer will adjust. Also shouldnt affect mpg. Might actually increase it. If you reset the adaptives(yhereis a way to do it.) You ill find more strong shifts and faster throttle respose. It you do this just before the track.
I can tell you that with a tune. You can agressively increase igntion yiming and camshaft timing as well as throttle response. These engines scream and with a tune like to spin at 7200 rpm. Unsure if power drop off is due to intake design or valve spring pressure.
@318willrun I know it's different it just cruzzezz along I was happy with the v6 great gas milage the diesel a Lil less but power to do any thing I want now have fun with that v6
Great stuff as always Sir! And that little V6 is pretty spicy!
Thanks! G.G.G!
Pretty good outta your truck, pretty nice duster your buddy has.
Thanks! It was a fun day at the track.
That IS impressive. I’d be curious as to what it weighs.
I haven’t weighed it yet, but I need to
Glad to see you breaking in the “New” race truck. Thanks for sharing
Thanks! It was fun!
Awesome on all fronts! Thanks Tim!
Go Lunch-Break !!!
Some nice racing there
Thanks! It was a great day at the track.
That's pretty good for a full size V6, our 98 R/T 5.9 Dakota would do about that. 👍👍👍
It did better than I thought! J-A-Y-B-O !!
That ran pretty darn good!

I have a feeling Yeller will lead the pack!! Thanks for all you do my friend!!!
That goes to show what that 8 speed can do. That truck is 1.2 seconds quicker than the Satellite with the poly. Next year will be different...
Yeah, 8 speed vs 3 speed is a lot!
I've always heard about the computers learning. Maybe the computer saw the demand for hp and turned the wick up.
Ha! Could have.... they seem to do what they want these days!
Looked like a fun day. Then again almost any day at the track is a good day 👍 Thanks for the ride !!!
Absolutely! Thanks!!!!
Nice!👍
Thanks! It was a fun day!
There is a n/a 3.6 chrysler 200. So transverse setup but awd. That ran in the 12.90s.

That's a great project, sounds like a lot of fun!
It a nice looking truck Tim ✌️.
Thanks!
👍🏻🇦🇺✌️.
As a point of reference, my E body with a stock carbed 5.9 magnum, 46rh trans and 3.73 sure grip is only about .15 seconds faster
Interesting! Thanks for sharing!

Thank You! Looks like jet streams to me.

That Challenger GT will be a fun ride at the track! Thanks!

I'm sure there is a lot of hidden potential! Thanks!
I had a 2019 1500 2 door long bed it was fun for a v 6 now I drive a 3500 cummins a lot of difference 😊
The Cummins is a whole different animal!

There has been one of these v6s with a blower put into a dart. 450 hp with a pight engine is pretty quick.
that could be fun !!!

That's gett'n it done !!!!
