Good man George. Just another small tip for anyone that has this key, put your key ring around the hole at the end that’s fixed to the fob and not the hole that detaches to the pull out key as the movement and weight of your keys over time can cause the catch to become weak and your keys will detach from the fob eventually
Thanks for the coolant temperature check, never knew you could do that. Did you know it has a wiper blade service mode ? Put the fob in but don’t start the car, make sure the wipers are off , remove the fob and hold the right stork up for 4 seconds , the wipers will sweep once and then stay in the up / vertical position.
Hi on a E92 if you press the open button twice the passenger and drivers windows open half way when the doors are opened. This is to aid you getting in and out as the doors do not have an upper frame. Very handy in a tight parking situation for both doors. Also, the rear key lock on the boot of an E92, I could be wrong but not all E90/92 have a folding rear seat so no access to boot hence they have a key lock. At some point (LCI maybe) all rear seats were foldable so they removed the key lock ? I have a 2009 pre LCI (one of the last) and it has split seats and the key lock so maybe it was just luck ? Cheers !
@@nerv6150 press the 3 buttons at the same time 3 times then one button at a time 3 times then all 3 again 3 times ...that should start your engine but you have to be 3 inches away from your vehicle while doing this hidden feature

Hi George another great video! The E92 coupe does not have a key lock under the boot lid so this cannot be opened with the key. Also if you disconnect the battery in the boot don’t fully close the lid as this will lock the boot! 🤬
But what happens if you then connect a jump starter? Then you have electricity in the system, haven't you? And then you should be able to open the boot, shouldn't you?
@@leiflillandt1488 yes absolutely but if you are not aware of it and you don’t have a jump pack you are f****d the back seats only drop down once released in the boot unlike the E36 coupe. Speaking from experience 🤣🤣🤣

They're not hidden. People just don't read their manual.

That’s right we don’t read that shit let us cheat

The stupid time delay when you press the boot unlock button can be changed with ncs expert and ncs dummy.
Same for windows.
