Man I really appreciate the video! I’ve never had a BMW and Im purchasing a 2011 328i on tomorrow. Im a lil nervous about the maintenance and upkeep, but I guess I’ll learn as I go. You gave me some very nice ideas to start with. Btw Nice wheels! What size are they, and did you do any suspensions work?
I was nervous also when I first got his BMW but after 3 years I haven't had any major issues and the maintenance hasn't been bad at all. Most maintenance tasks are not difficult to learn. So if you're into working on cars this car is a good car to start with. My wheels are 19s and I have coilovers.

I bought a flexible frontlip made of rubber for about 20€. Looks not as sharp as a hard one, but very good aswell, is hilariously cheap, does not fade so far and the best thing is that you dont have the risk to break it, when you touch the ground or sidewalk. And in germany your car has to be 8cm above the ground at the lowest point, but flexible parts do only need to be 7cm above the ground. So if you give a fuck on the law you can turn your suspension 1cm lower with a flexible frontlip instead of a hard one :D

I still have this car after 6 years and its been extremely reliable. I havent had anything major break/fail on me. Yet at least. Ive just delt with typical maintenance and some oil leaks from gaskets but thats it. I've never had to tow the car or anything. But this isnt everyones experience. I feel like I just got lucky with mine

I don't think you have the blinkers installed correctly. I have very similar ones on my 335ix. There is a pressure/friction spring sorta thing that holds the blinker onto the car. The blinker needs to be put in the hole and then pushed to the rear of the car. If it doesn't work, try it again after turning the blinker 180 degrees in either direction.

@@squiggly1047 The mods I listed that will fit your coupe are the BMS Pedal Tuner, Rear Extensions, the Front Lip I mentioned, Push Start/Stop button, LED Side Markers, Afe Air Scoops, and the Carbon Fiber E-brake handle!
Want to know if you put any headers on your car, or only did the Stage 3 Intake swap, Peddle Tune, and Tune? Trying to decide if I'm going to do the headers because they are expensive for a CARB compliant set here in California.
I Don’t have headers. Just stage 3 manifold and tune. Didnt go with headers because I also live in California.

What brand is the front lip I have. 2011 335 msport and we have the same bumper ! I have the same ecs rear spoiler and looks perfect and still looks great 3 years now!
It’s a front lip I got from a seller off eBay. But It says they’re unavailable. I’ve been looking for a new one though cause I kinda damaged it a bit. And my spoiler also still looks great after 2 years

I know this is a little late to comment, but does the LED side markers cause an error code for the lights? 'Cause I know when you switch to LED's from halogen bulbs it tends to cause an error with the lightbulb symbol on the cluster.
These side markers don’t have any error code. Or at least there was none on my car.

You can do dual but the drone is really bad. I have dual on mine currently.

Where did you put the zip ties on the kidney grilles? I just had one fall out and just got a new pair, but I don’t know where to put the zip ties.
I remember there were openings in the clips that are on the grills and guided the ziptie through them and into the openings that are on the bumper.
the side marker lights should have a glue tab on back to stick to the car

bro the side markers have 3M tape on the back ..I thought the same that the fitment wasn't good ..peel off the 3M sticker cover and it sticks directly to the car ..no risk of falling out

I’m new to owning a BMW. just got my first one yesterday a 2 door 328i 2011 e92 and I want that grill but it says it won’t fit mine. Is there another one that will maybe with the m colors as well?
The one I have linked is for e90 sedan. The grills for e92 coupe are a little different. I’m certain you can find some for your e92 just gotta do a little searching around on Amazon.

What exhaust tips do you have? I’m looking to do a resonator and muffler delete but i cant find tips i like.
These are just 3 inch stainless steel single walled tips with a Y shape. I got these from my local muffler shop so I cant direct you to where to find them unfortunately. Have you checked with your local muffler shop? usually they have a bunch you can pick from.

They're my stock headlights just retrofitted with aftermarket angel eye rings and were painted black in side the housing. I had someone else do everything for me so it came out to $1200. However I wish I had done them myself lol. would be only like $300 for everything.

NEED OPINIONS: should I sell my 04 g35 with 75k on engine and 225k on dash pushing 335hp and get a 2013 BMW 328i with 120k miles?
I recommend you get a 13-14 335i over a 328i if you want to get a BMW. I don’t think the 328i will be much of an upgrade from your G35 over than the updated technology.
@@InlineSixAuto the 335i has a lot more expensive common maintenance issues compared to the 328i. Unless he’s fine with paying those costs I’d get the 328i
@@andrewnunnes What you're saying maybe applies to the E90 335i with the N54 but I'm talking about the 13-14 F30 335i with the N55, which is much more reliable and has power that he is used to. Also its just a reliable and has about same maintenance cost as the 13-14 F30 328i since they are both turbo charged unlike the E90 328i

Mind if I ask what size are those wheels? I have a set of 21x9.5 + 20 I think and 21x 11.5 +22 that are an old set from my f10 m5. I'd love to fit them to this 328i
My wheels are 19x8.5 ET28 in front and 18x9.5 ET 33 in the rear

a little dbl sided tape would hold those side makers, now you need to spend $, and get your headliner changed to black

I have a 2009 bmw 328i and was ust wondering is it normal for the hopd to get really hot and have like a slight burning smell?? Like i was told its just the smell of the radiator but i want to be sure please help

@@josephsingerle7423 oh okay lol. Well my hood also gets pretty hot so I would say that's normal. As for the smell, the only time I had a burning smell was when my valve cover gasket was leaking oil near the exhaust manifold. But that was a stronger buring smell I would say. As long as you don't see any leaks and the cars running normally, I wouldn't worry too much about that.

Having the front grill scoops doesn't do anything it just collects more dirt doesn't give you a boost intake or anything else like that let him give you more air is just gets more dirt inside your system if you have you thought about getting a a rear diffuser
Yes I know they are just for the aesthetic look and its fine if theres dirt, thats what the air filter is for.

You can but from what I've seen they don't always work well with the car.

No Xdrive is different in the front than RWD. I have BC Racing Coilovers. They make some specifically for xDrive E90s. I have them in linked in the description

What paint code is that. I have barbera Rot a39 and it looks similar but worse
That’s what I have. A39. I use sealant to make it look extra clean.
