He’s the best. We have tornados in the spring mainly, and he and Ryan hall are what we watch along with chasers. The days of listening to a radio and/or tv are in the past!
I live in NE Pennsylvania where we get Nor'easters in the winter that like to dump large amounts of anow on us. I ALWAYS check here first to see what he thinks we will get, how bad the wind will be, how cold will it be, and about power disruption. He hasn't steered me wrong yet!

Max has become my weather channel of choice. Much better than any other, including the Weather Channel. Hope this channel grows by millions in the coming year. I am praying Milton isn't as strong when it hits land. I just heard Category 3 instead of 5. Praying. That's all we can do.
I find it odd how this storm is tracking the coast of Mexico but not one American new channel is showing any pictures of the north coast of Yucatan which must be under water by now.

I just inherited my parents home in Bradenton florida. Couldn't get hurricane insurance because it's too old. Idk if it'll make it thru this storm. Ugh
Well if all else fails you hopefully will still have the land its on. Then you can put a new home on it and either use it or maybe rent it out

right now Milton is over deep water, so cooler, the closer it gets to Florida the shallower the water gets, and the hotter the water gets, and if the hurricane slows down more and sits over this, it is going to get even stronger and more dangerous than it is now.
I'm very far away, and feel more concerned & worried about how to prepare than people who actually live there. I'm also really plotting how to do better for the next hurricane as I watch every MaxV. show from a hurricane free state.

Well done, one thing that you didn't clearly explain was the size in miles of the highest impact winds, when this is misunderstood or confused, panicked people can make bad desicions.

My grandparents lived in Florida for 6 months of the year (the cooler time periods) and in the mountains of NC right near Asheville for the hotter parts of the year. Very happy they don't have to experience this, but I miss them so much. 😢

I have never slept during a hurricane, not much om the days before.
The last 24hrs have shown the eye of Milton anchored offshore from the Yucitan Peninsula . What effect is that chunk of land having on development of the storm ? Would this be worse if all of the hurricane was over warm water ? Cheers !

With ZERO accountability for where that money goes. His deliberate lack of financial transparency for his "non profit" is, to me, entirely dishonest. 🤷 This is why Max gets my monthly $$~he shows up EVERY DAY with weather updates, rather than to just prey on the disaster situation.

This is likely playing out like Charley in Aug 2004, direct hit Punta Gorda/Charlotte Harbor. "Charley was initially expected to hit further north in Tampa, and caught many Floridians off-guard due to a sudden change in the storm's track as it approached the state." So sorry folks. Get out of town, that door won't hold a third time.
