Literally no one believed me when I told them I wanted to be a pilot . Throughout my entire school life but guess who is a CPL pilot now ! 😬 Never give up
Covid really ruined everything for us pilots . Let's never give up because one day things will be better again and I cannot wait for that day . For now , let's just survive my brothers and sisters
Remember Never give up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Never give up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Never give up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Never give up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Never give up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Never give up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Never give up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Never give up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! #pilot
Im 16 and my biggest dream is to become a pilot. I have an congential immune system disease. Everyone has so much prejudices about my disease. My goal is to show everyone, that its not a handycap in anyway. I actually started flying gliders to show them it is possible. And its one of the best hobbies you could dream of :) So if I can't do it because of my disease, you guys can! There are no reasons why you can not! Work hard and the day will come, where you walk left after boarding 💪😉
Hey buddy. I am also flying gliders. It is a really cool hobby, isn‘t it? That is really sad that you struggle becoming a pilot. But still, you can fly on hobby-base.
Max Musdermann B i know this is late and you probably won’t see this but keep doing what you love dude (or girl) I want to be an airline pilot when I grow up and I will do anything to get there so just ignore those haters and climb to the top and be the best. Wish you the best in life.
@@miasanmia8803 i think, he might wanted to say that don't waste your time by doing unusual stuffs but if someone find watching a video motivational what will help her/him work through the whole day with great mindset,It's not bad at all :)
Honestly, I was so close to giving up becoming a pilot, especially after doing quite decent in my GCSEs but now entering A-levels and I'm beginning to stress out more. This is also due to the fact that I personally can't afford becoming a pilot. However, after watching this video this gave me a massive shook. I have no excuses, and if I truly want to become a pilot I have to work hard. That means working hard for my A-levels, going to university and getting a good degree and working, working, working long hours for years to save up for my flight training. It's not fun but I'm sure it will be worth it in the end. I remember watching a video around 6 years ago, yes, 6 YEARS AGO about children living in the favelas in Brazil. There was this one boy who wanted to become a pilot, and I thought to myself how lucky I am compared to many other people around the world. I have motivation, access to good education and people who can help me. Many people don't have any of these but the only thing that I need to do is save up a lot of money. That's hard but not impossible. I just need to work hard and get on and never give up. Thanks Joe for creating this video, even though you won't read this I really do appreciate it. I'm gonna watch this whenever I feel like I'm about to give up on hard work just to motivate me. Also, thanks to everyone who read this, I know this is very long but, hopefully you've learnt something new about me:P
Khalid Abdulghani this was amazing I want to became pilot too, but something bus feel like giving up due to the money which I want have to pay the career, your comment it's amazing, as soon as i read saw it, it's called my attention ✈
I feel you man! Good look with everything and soon you will be soaring at high altitudes in one of the best aircraft known to man. I am going to achieve exactly the same. Just work hard and soon we’ll all be in the sky somewhere! Don’t let anything stop you, never give up!
Same here, friend. Im going to university and working at the same time to hopefully be able to pay for the entire training by 25. I was thinking of getting my PPL and IR before internship to complete everything a little faster.
I am 16 years old and I have been watching your videos for about a year. During this time I have gotten more serious about life and have stopped wasting my time by playing video games or doing other similar things. Due to that, many of my friends have left me saying that I do not have good interests, as I watch "stupid" videos about planes all the time, and that I will never find "cool friends". The passion is hanging off by the last thread for me and, I think, many other people. Please continue doing what you do because you are one of the people I look the most up to.
Personally I continue to play because it's a passion but I don't work and play at the same time... I only let me play on the weekends to evacuate the stress of the week then now, I WORK more than all my school's years I passed before
Hey Q8 Pilot. I watched just about every one of your videos. Like Captain Joe, you are a great guy. My story is similar to yours. Today I quit my day job to give Aviation another go and how relevant to be watching this video today 👍.
I watched this video for the first time a year ago. Now I am 15, started with PPL and will never lose the focus on my goals you gave me. Thank you for changing my life Joe
When i told my teachers and my classmates that i want to become a pilot in the future , my classmates laugh at me , saying im too short , saying i wont make it , thus , it caused me to have servere depression ,but however thank you captain joe for this video , this makes me feel absolutely motivated and allow me to gain back my strength and work towards a goal of being a 787/a350 airline pilot , currently im still at secondary 3 and i been playing alot of realistic air simulator games which teaches me how to activate auto pilot system , training me under microburst weather conditions and when to use flaps and slabs , once agai n thank you captain joe and i promise you , i will work my hardest to become a pilot , thanks for this video captain joe ! To other fellow people that dreams to become a pilot , ignore everyone that judge you , proof them wrong and never EVER GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAM ! Peace out ,
Amazing video Joe! I couldn’t have said it better myself. I made it my goal to be an airline captain by 30yrs old, I was 1yr late, and made captain at 31, but I had that goal since I started flying at age 16. Now I have made new goals in my life, and have refocused to tackle new challenges.
Hello 👋 captain, I am a boy 👦 and I am living in India and I am 14 and I want to become a pilot of AIRBUS A380 and I am not able to get a start point to start my training. Can you help?
I decided that's what I wanted to do for a career after a fam flight, went to a local flight school and signed up! I had my PPL at 17 before my full drivers license lol
@@sevenstar6249 Go to a flight school for a visit and ask around. Be the most anoyng kid ever. Ask everething to everione. They will hate you at first, but thrust me they will love the energy after. Ask them about your options because every place can be a bit different.
Hello guys! My name is Philipp, I'm 13 years old and my biggest dream is to become an air traffic controller at Frankfurt Airport . I always loved the aviation since I was 6 years old. I know this video is about becoming a pilot but I think this video shows the truth about every job in the aviation industry or in other industries in general. I know what I have to do. I know that I'm talented and I already know so much about planes and the aviation industry. I know it's hard to reach the goal but always keep in mind: The time for learning is NOW. I'm very young and I can learn everyday for my dream. If you’re 20 years old, you probably won't start to learn anything about aviation. Many people think: I want to become a pilot if I'm an adult. But they don't work for it. For everyone who reads my message: Work for your dream! You will make it! Never give up but never say: I know so much I don't have to learn anything anymore. I will start to improve my math skills now. The time is NOW and not in a few years. I know it's hard to keep the discipline but if you really want it, you will make it. Thank you Captain Joe for this video. I've already watched it before but I realized: I still have to improve many things to reach my goal. I wish you all good luck in the future. And never forget: A good pilot (or an air traffic controller) is always learning! :)
Dear Captain Joe As a student in the middle of his CPL, I just really needed this. Between working a full time job to raise the money and studying and flying, it can take a lot. But just hearing something like this from a pilot is just truly refreshing and gives you the lift you need. Thanks so much.
I am interested in aviation since I was a child. However, opportunities brought me to a different profession. I am now 39 but still thinking EVERYDAY if my dream of flying an airplane would possibly come true. For whatever reasons, I am filled with emotions after watching this video that I literally cried. Thank you very much, Captain Joe. I wish you all the best.
This video was uploaded when I was 14 and just getting into aviation. Now I’m 20, deep into an intense flight school, and just had a less than ideal mock commercial Checkride. I felt down for an hour or something and then remembered this video. Dude this is seriously such a good video. Now I’m back on track, I’ve taken note of what I can improve from my mock Checkride, and I’ll be moving forward better than ever before.
Me too I have autism and I did my initiation flight a few weeks ago. So that proves that if I have autism and I flew a plane, you can fly as well !!! Autism is weak but passion is strong, I hope one day you will achieve your goal :)
Joe, I can’t thank you enough for making this video There should be more people like you in this world I don’t have a connection with you personally, but after this I felt I have an inner connection with you. I’m happy to be subscribed to this channel, I feel like a part of your family. God bless you officer! Can’t stop watching this video again and again!
Joe it’s been two years now since I have started flying. Every single preflight 122 hours thus far has started with this video. Your encouraging words are such a blessing. Thank you for what you do!
I just would like to make a note here.. Because when I be a pilot in 2020, I will come and edit this message.. Thanks Captain! .. I became a pilot finally. It was very difficult process for me but i made it. Everything is not what i want now. But in the end i did it. Pray worth it. Thanks to God
I swear, ounce u listen to this at night when the lights are off, everyones asleep, and its just you with your headphones listening to this, u will be accomplishing your goals with you not even knowing👍✌. Just do your best and remember why u are doing it😊
There is a thing happening in my school called 'Speak Out' where we can either perform a poem, rap or speech about something we like or are concerned about, I'm performing this + thank you Captain!
This video literally made me cry. I've definitely hit that the low you mentioned, I've hit it hard. I've been trying to get back up, I've been trying to motivate myself. But I've never been strong enough. I'm feeling my pilot career slip out of my fingers. But this gave me strength I never knew I had. I AM strong enough. I WILL get better. I've hit rock bottom, so there's only one way to go. Up. Its not easy climbing out of this deep, dark place. But I CAN get through it. YOU can get through it. WE can get through it. Thank you Captain Joe, you've helped me so more than you'll ever realise. Whenever I'm feeling hopeless, whenever I can't find motivation or purpose. I'm going to come back to this video, and watch it until I feel strong again. Depression, I have three last words for you...BE GONE THOT!!! 😂 Edit: Imma go continue crying now bc I'm an emotional potato ;-;
It's 7th September 2018, I promise myself that I will, and I mean it, will become a commercial pilot in my future. I will do whatever it takes to achieve this only goal in my life and will surely remember you the day I will become a commercial pilot. Thanks a lot!
Really well said Joe! A motivating speech with one of the best motivational songs out there. "Planes have to go around sometimes, and so do we. Failed? Try again" This is one of our all time favourite comments under our UA-cam Videos by Bernkastel. This comment really made us smile :) Keep the dream alive guys. Trust us... even if not everything is going well in your life there still will be reasons to keep on fighting, dreaming and living a life that will make you happy. Find the things that make you happy and keep on looking forward to them. It's your life guys :) All the best Ole and Chantal ✈
I dont believe that pilots, once they fuck up, CAN go again. They endangered people's lives. I dont know how, if a pilot gets fired for something, they ever get hired in another company again....
I finished my PPL with this video. Now in ATPL and when i need motivation I’m always here. Thank you so much ☺️ Edit End of my training :) back here again. Thank you so much ❤️❤️
I will be working for an airline as a pilot in 2-3 years. You just made my heart jumped and made me even more excited to start my PPL training soon! I listen to your Aviation Motivation every day now. Thank you for inspiring and motivating me and other pilot students, I love you
I’m 14 and I live in the uk and too hear this from an experienced pilot is amazing, this has really given me more motivation to work hard in school get the grades I need then excel in flight school and finally become a first officer and the day I step in the flight deck of the airline plane I’ll owe it all to captain joe. Thank you joe
To become a pilot is my childhood ambition... but my dream remained as a dream bcoz of my financial status... missing my passion a lot.... love for this profession never decreased
Captain Joe I love watching your videos and I want to say a few things. 15 years ago i I got my PPL and almost my CPL but i ended up running out of money, splitting up with my long term girlfriend and after that life just became a mess. I fell into a pit of depression, stopped working and felt I was a disappointment to all of my family and friends for not completing my CPL and getting a job in aviation. It is only recently that I got back into my flying again. 4 days ago i hired an aircraft solo after such a long time and flew over my home and the city and had this overwhelming feeling of satisfaction as i looked down at the city below. Your videos have truly helped me achieve my goal and i thank you so much. This video actually inspired me to go flying again. I have now saved up enough to get my CPL (after a few fun navs). Looking forward to learning more from you in the future, thank you so much, Ben
My dream was always to become a pilot since I was a toddler. Now you have proven to me that I’m the only one that can push myself ahead. Thank you, that was really inspiring.
What an absolute masterpiece. Brilliant video as always Joe. You inspired me to persuit my dream to become an airline pilot (you must hear this quite often I imagine). One day I will look back and remember when every Thursday I was waiting for your absolutely fantastic videos. By far the best you tube channel for me. You are an example to be followed. Thank you for everything Joe. Cheers from Portugal.
Dear captain Joe. I am 45 yrs old and I have just passed succesfully all theoric exams for ATPL(A). You and your video were, are and will be always a powerful thrust for me and my dream. Thank you very much. I will do my best to achieve my goal, realize my dream and make the child inside me happy.
Thank you so much captain Joe. I can’t express how much this video motivated me even more to become an airline pilot. When ever im feeling a bit down, I will come to this video and watch it over and over again. I will get my head down, pass my GCEC’s and A levels and train to be a pilot. Everybody here that will work hard will soon be soaring in the highest of sky’s. Everyone work hard and achieve what you’ve always dreamt for even if you want to be an airline pilot or not always push your self to become that person you dreamt of as a kid or even as an adult. Don’t let anything or anyone get in the way! Thank you captain Joe and all the other people here posting motivational comments.
I recently moved my wife and two kids back in with my mother-in-law to save for flight school. The savings account is growing rapidly and the vision is alive and progressing. Your videos inspired me transition out of my teaching career and follow the passion I have always had since I first gazed skyward at age three. Thank you so much Joe. I cannot wait to see what is next for you as you fill that space on your vision board. Smooth skies my friend.
I thank my mum because she turns off the wifi before I go to bed and I put my phone outside. She will put it in my room after I sleep and in the morning,I get my alarm and no notifications from Instagram
Wow...Joe, that speech has opened my eyes with tears of meaning. I know i will come back to this video and listen to your words to help me to create my own. I am currently working on getting my private license at age 17 and having watched a lot of your videos lately, has given me the extra motivation i needed to help me continue on my dream of doing what you do. Thank you so much for all you do and share, because it makes a difference. I wish you flew passengers so i may have the great rare chance that I may someday be aboard your aircraft.
I'm having a major national exam this year. This video helps me and I am going to do everything I can to get into an aviation course next year. I AM GOING TO BE A PILOT💙
I'm Glad I Have Met Your Channel and Feel Motivated,on November I will be starting my flight school. And This Video will be one of my Motivator to7 move forward towards my career. Thank you Thank You Thank You from My Clean heart Much Respect to You Captain Joe "A GOOD PILOT IS ALWAYS LEARNING"
This is so true in most (if not all) carrier paths. You must push yourself, keep learning, keep motivated, be obsessed with achieving your carrier path. You'll get people telling you that you'll never achieve it. For me, this was people that I genuinely looked up to. I guess the bottom line was that they couldn't achieve it, so believed those around them could not also. Find what you want and GO GET IT !
Damn, this video gave me goosebumps and I cried at the end. I was about to give up on my plans and on myself, until you uploaded this. It gave me the push I needed. Thank you Joe, for every video. Thank you for making me happy again after a rough day. Thank you. God bless! Greetings from Cologne :) Danke
YES PEOPLE USE TO TOLD ME THAT DON'T BECOME A PILOT CAUSE NOW A DAYS MANY PLANS ARE CRASHING AND U R POOR AT STUDIES BUT SOME SAYS YOU SHOULD BE AIRFORCE NON OF THEM HAS GIVEN ME CONFIDENCE EXCEPT YOU THANK YOU VERY MUCH
I‘m a CEO with no ambition to become a pilot. However this video is extremely helpful for me and there is a lot you can learn from aviation to perform better in business. Thumbs up 👍🏻✈️
I'm 16 years old, my Dad was a pilot, he was working towards becoming a commercial pilot and then one day he crashed in his Fly baby and was dead. My absolute dream is to make it as a pilot and become a commercial pilot, I just want to make him proud and live the dream that he was aiming for. Last year I was diagnosed with Epilepsy and that has made me very dispondant. I have a very mild form of epilepsy, I've only ever had 2 seizures in my life and I haven't had one for a year and a half now. I am now on medication and it's working wonderfully. But now I read that you can't even get a PPL if you have a history of epilepsy and this really upsets me. I am going to try and think positive and try everything in my power to make my dreams come true. This video was amazing and really got me back on track and back into a good mindset, thank you so much!
I was trying to search for my own comment and landed here, feel so sorry to hear about what happened to your dad. I hope you achieve your dad's goal and become a successful pilot. Don't give up. !!!
mate this video helped me organise myself ALOT and helped me establish a routine. i used to think that being a pilot was just "meh, i dont care if i get the job i get it if i dont i dont" but now, this video turned my mindset around a whole lot and now im dead set on what i want to do. love your videos and they are extremely helpful. Thank you captain joe 👨✈️🙌
Hasan Ahmed. You have to start with physics and math. You have to know every physical base of flying and you have to know medium-advanced maths and know how to calculate. Basic knowledge of politics and the other sciences as well. The more you are prepared the better it is. Also if you are not an English native speaker you will have to go through further exams so your English should be nearly perfect. My advice is to start now studying to not have trouble in future
nice. Just focus on your Maths and Physics, and English! I worked a lot on these two subjects and I got good GCSE grades in both. GCSE are exams you take in secondary school in the UK if you didn't know that. Hopefully you'll do well. BTW I'm 16.
Keep on plundering mate, you're dreams will be a reality soon. Applications for A.D.F.A (Australian Defence Force Academy) open in under 6 months time for me, I leave school in under 2 years. If I'm being honest it scares the shit out of me, however sitting behind the controls of the elite of the elite aircraft has been my dream since I was 5. My suggestion, don't let your first Year 10 assignment be the thing that boots you into gear start NOW. Put 110% into everything complete assignments earlier than everyone. Stay behind with your maths, physics or history teacher to work on that one concept you don't understand, start this now and set yourself up. We'll all meet over the good old radio in no time...
Three years I have been listening to this video every day on the way to the hanger. 300 hours and on my way to my commercial rating. “Take 100% responsibility for all my decisions and actions in life” these are words to live by Joe. Oh, and guess who put his face on a book…. Thank you for the signed copy Joe. If you’re ever up in Anchorage, give me a call I’ll take you out to lunch.
This is one of the best Motivational videos every , this video opened my eyes . It even gave motivation to a Infinite Flight sim UA-camr who live in Germany!!!
Dang it who’s cutting onions in my room? But seriously though, my hat is off to you Capt. Joe! Due to health issues I can’t ever be a pilot, but this video feels like way more than just achieving aviation goals. To me it’s more about getting your head sorted and in the game, and don’t ever give up!
Truly an amazing video. I’m currently a float plane pilot. If u tryna become a pilot without working hard than as captain joe mentioned forget about it. I wish all of u here very best in achieving your goal.
I have set myself a goal to join flight school by 2023 (in 5 years) and become a pilot by 2025. Let's all keep going and for sure maybe one day fly together.
Viel Spass damit. Grüsse aus Asien. R.
Damn, whatever the hell Capt. Joe is selling, I wanna buy it! I kept waiting for the "Buy my course, in only 3 easy sessions! Order now!" part of the advertisement.
Take 100% responsibility for your all your decisions and actions in life. Ask yourself ‘Do I have the right mindset to become and achieve my goal of soaring through the sky?’ I have three questions for you, “what?, when?, and how?” You have to have a clear vision of what kind of pilot you want to become. Define what type of pilot, Airline, cargo, seaplane, etc. Exchange the word “want” to “I will be a pilot” Set a deadline by when you’re in control of an airplane. I want you to be as precise as possible, year, date, and time. Don’t be a “maybe”. Clarify your vision as best as possible. Have a vision board and look at it on a daily basis. See yourself flying your dream aircraft. Decide who you’re going to be, what you’re going to be, and how you’re going to do it. No one else is in charge of that except for you, but don’t wish for it! Work for it! Prepare the best you can. Let your determination and hunger for knowledge be your fuel to get to your goal. Once you’ve made your decision, it won’t take long for the disbelievers to show up making fun of you. “You want to become a pilot, are you joking? “What do you know about flying?” “Come on man, don’t waste your money!” People dislike change because they worry that you could evolve into something better than them. Don’t be discouraged by these small-minded people, Instead reverse the negative energy into a powerful motivational force. Show them that you are the one who won’t back down and prove them different. Haters gonna hate what else is new. Fear can also be a great motivator because once you’ve passed a certain point that scared you the most, you realize how much more days beyond the things you were afraid of. Once you’re on track, Focus! Focus! Focus! Because there’s a flood of distractions just waiting to mess with your success. One of the biggest is in your hand get off of your phone. That’s not gonna help you anyway instead read books which prime your mind for upcoming exams. If you add up the time here on your phone or watching Netflix, you’ll be finishing a book every week. Ask yourself, Has facebook been any help in my life instead be the inspiring person who puts his face on a book. Stop wasting your time, educate yourself and meet up with people instead of hiding in your phone. If you’re facing the psychologists at in interview and you’re not able to have a proper conversation with stranger, you’ll feel sorry for yourself, do not let that happen. Become known among your friends as the person who’s reliable and trustworthy that your friends come to you if they need an honest opinion. Train to become more disciplined. Dedicate yourself to becoming a better person with each day. I want you to get out of the bed early in the morning and dedicate the first hour to yourself and leave your phone turned off and don’t give me that crap “but I need my phone as an alarm clock.” An alarm clock costs $8 I’ll give you $8 just that you don’t use your phone in the first hour in the morning. Get out of bed, don’t snooze, set yourself a morning routine. Get a little workout in and then read something of your interest. Prime yourself for the upcoming day. This is your time, use it and prepare yourself. I want you to do that every day because self-discipline is the fuel to success. If you think you’re gonna become a pilot then achieve your goal without hard work, forget it about it. Trust me, when I say there is no substitute for hard work, there is no substitute for self-discipline. There is no fast-track in becoming a pilot. At first the plane will fly you over time you’ll be level with the plane. But only after constant repetition of procedures and learning from mistakes you’ll become more experienced, growing confidence, and get ahead of the plane and that’s where you want to be. You want to be piloting the plane and not be the passengers of your mistakes. The plane is giving you the lift you need to climb over the clouds it just relies on your inputs and the time will come when you’ll find yourself an absolute low. You’ve lost motivation everything seems to be working against you and then only words you hear in your head are the haters who told you in the first place. You’re about to give up, “Are you a quitter?” Giving up is easy! Congratulations! You’ve just proven your naysayers instead I want you to perform your personal emergency recovery checklist. Analyze what went wrong, accept your mistakes and work on your weaknesses, regain strength, refocus and get the fuxx up! Get your mindset back on the golden prize. Achieving your goals will motivate to set new ones. I’ve achieved my dream to fly the plane I always wanted to fly and one more item ticked off my vision board which has just made space for a new goal. Trust me when I say achieving goals gets addictive and once you’ve achieved your goal and you’re soaring through the skies, make time to give something back. Give something back to your family, friends, or community. Help others who are struggling with similar issues as you have before your career. The people who you connect through them who shared the stories and you’re able to help them in anyway is incredibly rewarding. So here is my advice for you. Dedicate yourself to your goal and never lose focus. There is no substitute for hard work but it will pay off, it always does. Enjoy every step of your flying career, be humble, appreciative, and give something back. Take 100% responsibility for all your decisions and actions in life and don’t forget A GOOD PILOT IS ALWAYS LEARNING. See ya… (I really hope everybody who’s eager to become a pilot achieve their dream and see at the airport wearing uniform...!)
I was already playing with toy planes before I could even talk. I spent hours talking to pilots when I was a little kid, showing them my toys, saying "they are not as big as yours but one day I'll have a big plane too". One of them gave me his pilot hat, I still keep it in my bedroom, and whenever I look at it, I feel the same hunger for flying, it's a feeling that has been with me during my whole life and it won't fade away. Now i'm a teenager, with the passion, the dream, the love for aviation that becoming a pilot takes. I know I will become one, I'll manage my way to somehow get the money needed, I don't care if it takes me to work half a day, and study and practice the other half. I know that i'm that kind of person who has been always looking up to the sky, since I was just a little baby, the kind of person whose instincts makes them raise their head up when hearing an engine roar. And I know that as I have what it takes to endure the tough way to the skies, you who are reading this, if you are of the same kind, if your dreams are above the clouds, you can achieve them too.
I want to be a gastro surgeon when I grow up this video made me so inspired I promise when I grow up I will be humble to get to my goal as a surgeon you are the best captain joe a good pilot is always learning
Vetle Reinton it wont. That’s what the doctor said. Bc some idiot deliberately threw a handball in my eye. I had surgery and a yr later I still need to sleep with the light on. I see flashing lights, floaters, black dots and more
As a 14 year old, Capt Joe is the ONLY person who has been my inspiration and teacher because of whom I have become a Aviation enthusiasts. This video was Very relatable as i am facing these haters. LOVE YOU CAPT. YOU ALWAYS BRING A HUGE MOTIVATIONAL RAY TOWARDS ME
To be honest, in 2020 these though days, I watch this video quite often to keep self-discipline. Do not forget guys, ”A good pilot is always learning”. That is my motto thank you, Captain Joe. I hope to meet u in the sky:)
Awesome video Joe! Thanks a lot: it was very helpful. Now I am only 17yo, but I hope a day I will reach my dream and become an aeronautical engineer! My new school term will start in a week and I will try to follow your advices for all my different subject I study in my high school. I will begin the fourth year of five. Than if it always ok I will begin the university... Have a good day. Wish you all the best, your Giorgio from Italy
Best Video for me right now. Just got passed over for the 3rd time for PPL training through the Canadian Cadet Program. Kinda easy to start thinking about giving up when everythings gone against you. 100% exactly what I needed right now today.
GER: Ein wirklich sehr motivierendes Video. ENG: A really great motivating video. I personally think that flying and everything that goes with it is very interesting and would like to fly an A-10 one day. A great problem is, that it is really expensive and it isn't a normal aircraft. Nevertheless, I will give everything to be able to realize my dream at least once.
Hi Joe, thank you so much for this motivation video to achieve the goal of my life. But how can I prepar as good as possible as student in highschool (Gymnasium) for it? Which books can you recommend? How can I improve my avation knowledge apart from flightsimulation in Prepar3D? How can I prepar as good as possible in school for this goal of my life? I would be very grateful, if you can give me some advices, to prepar as good as possible for assessment centers in the near future. And I can just say again, thank you very much for this great support, that you give to young people with a focused goal in their life. Wünsche dir alles Gute and always happy landings!
I am dead focused on becoming a pilot for either American or Southwest and this Joe has inspired me to keep pushing forward no matter what is in my way. Thank you Joe for the inspiration
You’re one of my favourite pilot vloggers. All of your experience and knowledge inspires me to be the best pilot I can possibly be. For that, I thank you.
This video was awesome again. Thank you!

Same here bro. I’m 13 and have a great passion for flying. Let’s all do it and become successful pilots
Im 16 and my biggest dream is to become a pilot.
I have an congential immune system disease. Everyone has so much prejudices about my disease. My goal is to show everyone, that its not a handycap in anyway. I actually started flying gliders to show them it is possible. And its one of the best hobbies you could dream of :)
So if I can't do it because of my disease, you guys can!
Starting gliders too! 16yo ;)
Max Musdermann B i know this is late and you probably won’t see this but keep doing what you love dude (or girl) I want to be an airline pilot when I grow up and I will do anything to get there so just ignore those haters and climb to the top and be the best. Wish you the best in life.

Good luck bruh. Dedicate yourself
#same case
thank you captain joe
Khalid Abdulghani this was amazing I want to became pilot too, but something bus feel like giving up due to the money which I want have to pay the career, your comment it's amazing, as soon as i read saw it, it's called my attention ✈
Robert Ferreras ahhh thanks man!
Same, but in the end it is way better to have no friends rather than having the kind of friends who don't appreciate your set goals in life.
It's those kind of people who will probably be on your plane.
Exactly.
You look like me, but keep going and follow your dreams
Personally I continue to play because it's a passion but I don't work and play at the same time... I only let me play on the weekends to evacuate the stress of the week then now, I WORK more than all my school's years I passed before
Wonderfully done, very motivational. Thank you Captain Joe!

How where you able to start flying at the age of 16?
I decided that's what I wanted to do for a career after a fam flight, went to a local flight school and signed up! I had my PPL at 17 before my full drivers license lol

Dear Captain Joe
As a student in the middle of his CPL, I just really needed this. Between working a full time job to raise the money and studying and flying, it can take a lot. But just hearing something like this from a pilot is just truly refreshing and gives you the lift you need. Thanks so much.
All the best. I am flying through the same turbulence.
*Always respect your haters because they are the only one who thinks that you are better than them*

Thank you captain joe 👨✈️🙌
Captain Joe you are my inspiration and I want to be a pilot but I'm only 13 and I need to now what to learn thank you
Hasan Ahmed.
I'm 13 as well and also want to be a pilot
nice. Just focus on your Maths and Physics, and English! I worked a lot on these two subjects and I got good GCSE grades in both. GCSE are exams you take in secondary school in the UK if you didn't know that. Hopefully you'll do well. BTW I'm 16.
Same, I’m 13 too with the same dream
I don't know why but at 5:26 it just made me cry, keep living your dream. Cheers!!! ~ Live Your Dream

I have set myself a goal to join flight school by 2023 (in 5 years) and become a pilot by 2025. Let's all keep going and for sure maybe one day fly together.
Danke !
Nicht aufgeben. Wir supporten uns hier gegenseitig! Viel Erfolg dabei. And don't forget a good pilot is always learning! :)
Viel Spass damit.

I am currently 17 a senior in high school and plan on going to college next year to become a pilot. I’ll reply to this comment when I GET THE JOB!
I'm waiting !
Take 100% responsibility for your all your decisions and actions in life.
Ask yourself ‘Do I have the right mindset to become and achieve my goal of soaring through the sky?’
I have three questions for you, “what?, when?, and how?”
You have to have a clear vision of what kind of pilot you want to become.
Define what type of pilot, Airline, cargo, seaplane, etc.
Exchange the word “want” to “I will be a pilot”
Set a deadline by when you’re in control of an airplane.
“What do you know about flying?”
“Come on man, don’t waste your money!”
People dislike change because they worry that you could evolve into something better than them.
I want you to get out of the bed early in the morning and dedicate the first hour to yourself and leave your phone turned off and don’t give me that crap “but I need my phone as an alarm clock.”
An alarm clock costs $8 I’ll give you $8 just that you don’t use your phone in the first hour in the morning.
You’re about to give up, “Are you a quitter?”
Giving up is easy!
See ya…
(I really hope everybody who’s eager to become a pilot achieve their dream and see at the airport wearing uniform...!)
Very nice made me much motivated love from India
My goal is being a pilot
But I can’t become one because I am blind in 1 eye and had a retinal detachment in my other eye :(
im blind in one eye two :/
but i will not let it stop me
Thats very sad to hear, hope everything goes well anyways!
StandStiII well I am not allowed to be a pilot as I can’t see well. What is wrong with your eye. I have a short optic nerve
Vetle Reinton it wont. That’s what the doctor said. Bc some idiot deliberately threw a handball in my eye. I had surgery and a yr later I still need to sleep with the light on. I see flashing lights, floaters, black dots and more
Dzintis Gaujenieks the doctor said it is permanent. They can’t do anything I was born like that. Then I have another bad eye
Awesome video! That motivates me so much! Please, more videos like that!!! ✈️🧡❣️

GER:
ENG:
A really great motivating video. I personally think that flying and everything that goes with it is very interesting and would like to fly an A-10 one day. A great problem is, that it is really expensive and it isn't a normal aircraft. Nevertheless, I will give everything to be able to realize my dream at least once.
Hi Joe,
thank you so much for this motivation video to achieve the goal of my life.
