Preston Marlowe is a U.S. soldier transferred to Bad Company and embarks on his first mission with his new squad. After a rather informal introduction to fellow squadmates, Redford, Sweetwater and Haggard, they begin by seizing Russian artillery positions and turning the guns on advancing enemy armor. Proceeding to knock out several anti-air batteries, clearing the way for advancing armor and taking control of the city of Zabograd, the group stumble upon a Legionnaire encampment: mercenaries whose leader is The Legionnaire (Nathan Osgood), a ruthless commander. The Legionnaires are possibly the deadliest army in the world, according to Sweetwater, who also mentions how each is paid in solid gold bars. Transported to a dock farther away from the U.S. Army, they spot more Legionnaires loading a supply truck with gold. The truck ends up driving past the border into nearby Serdaristan, a neutral state in the conflict. Despite Redford ordering the squad to withdraw from the area, Haggard, excited over the prospect of getting gold, runs after the trucks, single-handedly invading a neutral country...
As always we used relevant gameplay, important dialogue and all cutscenes to stitch together a fluid cinematic experience. We tried to put as many of the back and forths between the characters as we could find. The joy of this game is listening to the characters funny chemistry. We hope you enjoy!

By BFBC Haggard put fuel in the cooling reservoir of a Hind. By the second installment he knew all the specs and history behind the An-225 by heart, besides reading the Illiad.
Ahh I can't believe how much I miss hearing Sweetwater's sass
I love the visual humor in this game so much man.
Look at 1:24:55 - when Haggard shoves Sweetwater he flinches a bit, but then when Sweetwater shoves him back he damn near pushes Haggard over... If you think about it, Sweetwater is probably the strongest guy in the whole squad, despite the fact he's also the gang's resident soft spoken nerd. He spends the entirety of BC1 carrying around a full rucksack and a twenty pound M249... and then in BC2 he upgrades that to an *M60* which weighs _even more_ and kicks like a pissed off mule.
And you know what he never does for the entirety of either game? complain about being tired. Ironic, because he complains about almost everything else, which he has way less control over... Like he could have "lost" that LMG at any point when they were behind enemy lines, but he kept it with him the whole way through three countries, that tells me he actually kind of likes carrying around all that gear.
Not to mention a specific section in BC2, where he gets off the helicopter, clubs the rifle out of a Russian soldier's hands, and then smacks him off the roof *with his M60* while letting out a gnarly battle cry.
Sweets probably *is* the physically strongest out of the whole squad.
@@boi5499 it makes the dynamic between him and Haggard so funny because Haggard has a way more brash and chaotic vibe, but he's actually smaller than Sweetwater, so if you pay attention, half the time they're bickering it's mostly just Haggard bothering Sweets and then Sweets pushing him off like an annoyed older brother.
This is what makes them memorable to me... the little jock and the big nerd is such a chaotic twisting of early 2000s stereotypes and I _love it_

@@JK-yn1dzagreed completely. Plus I really enjoyed original Bad Company's multiplayer and BF 1943 as well. So I would rank those first along with BC2 on consoles, then Battlefield 4

I have not played this game since I was ten years old, in 2009. This is my first time seeing any gameplay on it since then and it is so crazy how well I remember it. Especially when they get in the golden helicopter and the dictator is talking about a swan?? It's just crazy. Remember it all after fifteen years. Loved this game

I remember the free demo multiplayer for Xbox 360 and I was a kid. The menu music is awesome. And the graphics were beautiful as fudge and sound fx and man I love bad company 1&2
Bad Company and BC2 are the only campaigns from Battlefield that matter. Screw all this shallow on-the-nose tribute nonesense that BF1 and BFV had, I want my nerdy machinegunner, pyromaniac demolitionist, and Sergeant who'll never get retirement.

Same here. I mean, I feel like World War 2 games have gotten tiresome a lot quicker than usual, with games like Call of Duty: WWII and Battlefield V not even remotely offering anything interesting or fun whatsoever.

Anyone knows if there is anything to do about the resolution? I play this on the Xbox one X on a 4K Samsung screen, but the game looks really, really blurry and pixelated. Feels like it looked better on the 360 ten years ago.
