In 2054, U.S. Marines PFC Jackson "Jack" Mitchell and Private William "Will" Irons take part in an operation to repel a North Korean invasion of Seoul, under the command of Sergeant Cormack. During the firefight, Will is killed and Mitchell loses his arm, resulting in him being discharged from military service. After attending Will's funeral, Mitchell is offered a position in the Atlas Corporation, a private military company, by CEO Jonathan Irons, Will's father, and is also given an advanced prosthetic arm to replace his lost one.

Happy Thanksgiving @Gamer’s Little Playground
@@satanspawn4749 Happy Thanksgiving to you too!
This is one of my favorite Call of duty games of all time right next to the original Black Ops. Have a Happy Thanksgiving
you did your best. that's what i care.
@gamer’s Little playground I appreciate you for making these videos oops I mean movies 👍
Can we just respect Carter? That random Atlas Op who took a rigged door was launched into a wall survived it and kept fighting until a Nuclear Reactor was dropped on him, fuckin' legend.
Edit: Since I realise most people aren't absolute madmen and watch a full 2 hour video to find the moment I'm talking about it's at 50:42. Hope everyone is having a nice May. Be a legend like Carter.
Probably purely on adrenaline.
@@Jtc00 in my best rick james impression "Adrenaline is a helluva drug"
@@Jtc00you’d be surprised how long a body bleeding out could survive on adrenaline alone… that’s why stim shots are used for revives or heals in a lot of call of duty. Not dealing the wound, just doping the shit out of yourself with adrenaline injection. You feel less pain, blood flows more, oxygen flows better (unless impeded/obstructed)
for real

COD AW had one of the best campaign in COD history
fr
my favorite cod game to this day sadly not everyone feels the same
It had both great campaign and amazing multiplayer, wish that they kept the formula for the future "futuristic" cod games. But that didn't happen.
@@lordofsucc4467 i loves cod futur paced games but not as "call of duty" name ill prefer in another name beacause i used to play old cods before cod4
@@rajanon7113 so you want cod still same every year or let the timeline going forward?
@@lordofsucc4467it's zombies was also pretty decent i also love that they did more or less a eventual future where north Korea or south invades other one
@@bhayu7724techically they do still advance time line cause pretty much every game is in the universe that cod or mw has just in a diffrent time like I'd way infinite warfare i think it was is more or less even further into the future then advanced warfare is since they did have mostly air units like this game did
The visuals of this game are so good.
fr
frrrr
I loved this game, but it shared the same key problem I had with Ghosts. By which I mean it dangles the possibility of a sequel in front of your face before they create a completely different game next.
I guess that's why The cod Community is to blame in the end.
@@RRai2000Ong atp
Am I the only one that came to replay the tank walker sounds over and over again at 5:35?
it sounds so satisfying
Man you don’t know how much I appreciate you making all these cutscene movies
Unlike most COD games that recreated existing wars, this one gave us a glimpse into the future. The very near future at that. What we see here is a very real possibility in terms of threat, scale, plot, and artillery. We may very well have exo suits like that in ten years for all we know
i mean exo suits are a reality now the problem isa power source to run them
@@johnrexg1834 rechargable batteries could fix it with it existing in ALMOST every Artillery Vehicle or patrol vehicles aswell but for that we would to customize every car it would cost alot of money and alot of time too but besides that United States would take over the world as it would be the first to be this up ahead but if a civil war breaks inside United States It wouldn't exist in 1 month since both of them would be insanely powerful against each other causing mass destruction (Not a Time traveler)
Thank you for all the hard work you do to give us these videos!
the opening to this game never gets old
The beginning is full halo ODST vibes
Right?!?! Even when the door flies out that's exactly how it happened when leaving the drop pod in ODSTS 4:06
Glad this is here so I can revisit the story, couldn't find the playthrough I watched when the game first came out :/
I personally feel this one is the best out of the whole future series of COD
same
Huge prison facility and no first aid kit or sick bay? OSHA won't stand for that.
I'm Nigerian and I loved this game..
For one I finally found westerners that pronounce Lagos correctly.
However, Nigeria dosent have a prime minister lol...
This was the best campaign…so well done
Great game in my book, happy thanksgiving to you Gamer’s Little Playground!
Now I know why Knox sounds so familiar. His VA is the same guy who does Cyborg from teen titans :)
Dude please play more games like this i love this shit

Around the @23:00 mark i always thought it was interesting the assault exo comes with boost jump and sonics, And the specialist with shield and stim, I think regarding to the crowd control comment the secondary abilities should be switches. Shield and sonics sound kinda nice

“But what about my wife and children?!”
“Wait no, I can’t manage to pull anyone. :(“
superb movie and gameplay..
One of the best cods no cap
They couldn’t cut his arm off and save his friend?
what did they have to cut his arm?
That short scene from 23:45 - 24:27 always gave me asmr like tingles hahaha...one of the things i loved about this game
I was so glad when they introduced the stealth armour. It is only logical.

Here’s The Nostalgia
I experience some weird sound and some time no sound at all. Is it a bug?
it's awkward playing/watching this with Kevin Spacey being exposed. But that makes the ending all the more cathartic
Looks super real

I can’t count how many times I rewatched this game for the story alone!
Back when even FPS games had a good stories
same, there was just something(s) about this story that made me hooked
It reminds you a lot of the MW2 story
The most unrealistic thing in this game is that the militaries of the world would trust their multinational counter-terrorist team in the hands of a mere NCO
Edit: I wrote this comment years before I learned that the first Six of Rainbow, John Clark, was only an E-7 chief bosun and ex-SEAL before he joined the CIA. And the militaries of the world still made him the commander of their multinational counter-terrorist team
You'd think he would be promoted
Keep in mind, it said he was promoted to Major.
Or North Korea having a successful invasion on South Korea
@@carterbest1594 Sergeant to Major in 4 years is crazy ngl

He knows how to mix traditional training and technological advances.
He couldn’t even survive exo SURVIVAL🤡🤡🤡
Been Binge watching the COD campaigns 53:41 Really impressive that Hades knew exactly how the media was going to display his attacks to show his portrait
Advanced Warfare is by far one of the best COD campaign, I love replaying it and it was honesty better than BO3 in my opinion
I felt like the BO3 campaign was a chore to finish
@@mortenbund1219 agreed! It was very tedious
Bo3 has one of the worst campaigns in the CoD franchise tho lmao
Tbf any campaign is better than Bo3

I actually really enjoyed this game, it’s one of my favorite call of duty’s. I thought this was better than Black Ops 3 and 4.
It is way better than those games.
@@a.jthomas6132 definitely better
Black Ops 3 had a really good zombies mode. Otherwise, the rest of it was garbo. So was Bo4

1:51:02 legend has it, that automatic is still lying in midair in that glacial cavern to this day.
Fun fact: Knox’s voice actor is Khary Payton, aka Cyborg
Yep
I think the most unbelievable part of this game is that North Korea had anything more then outdated tanks a single rifle to share amongst their army. 🤣
The North Korean military will be stuck in the eighties until kim Jung un dies
21:14 he said the thing
The audio goes messy nearing one and a half hour of the video (first the audio is ahead of the video, then it's muted completely)
Editing error, or is my youtube glitching?
No it happened to me too, maybe audio files corrupted
To be honest, THIS was the true first next-gen Call of Duty for me back in the day.

Man I hope the U.S. Military asks Lockheed Martin to build the F-52 (Inside the cockpit, its specifically identified as the F-52-B). I'm sure it would be an awesome 6th generation fighter jet!
Bro it has one of the best campaigns no cap but also you can see the tears in irons eyes when he destroyed your arm
The way you move around pisses me off holy jesus lol. Please look at the actual action on screen instead of staring off into the distance. 24:56
Well...Kevin Spacey made some good points here and there - finally a villain with a character that is actually smart.
The sound quality in this game is outstanding.

Frankly, this should have been expanded into 3 games with all the story. Part 1 up to where you killed Hades, Part 2 to the end of the game, and Part 3 dealing with the fallout and a new apocalyptic world order.
And that MANTICORE virus was just stupid, or explained badly. You put everyone's DNA into the virus, and they're spared, what about new recruits, or old batches of virus? Should have just made the usual inoculation-type of immunity, instead of blatantly referencing racial genocide.
Work for a private military company, find out that the boss is the bad guy and then suddenly you get to see all the evil the company was doing? Why is it always the case
Idk I think irons just became evil after his son died you know
Losing a child can mentally break anyone
Does the audio go weird like 1 hour and 15 in or is it just me
This campaign was so good but the game overall just fell apart
How?
@@Onepieceistheworstfuckinganime I agree too...it didn't really fall apart the community just complained about futuristic cod games

Despite all the flak that this game received and Ghosts for their multiplayer. Story-wise, they were incredible.
In truth, since my favourite CoD multiplayer, MW2. I became distant from them after that. Now, stories are the only reason I buy CoD games anymore.
The stories carry
Yeah cod games have gone downhill affter advanced warfare or inifinte tbh I don't really know when they were released exactly just somewhere near this is when stuff started to be garbage like no skill based matchmaking more or less 1 shot weapons or just full p2w

Bro this game is like so nostalgic for me bc I remember playing team deathmatch for HOURS every day on the weekends with my older brother at my grandmas house when i was younger. I remember just sitting on the couch and watching him play the campaign having no idea what was happening.
I never hear anyone talking abt this game other than saying how forgettable it was but this was literally my childhood.
Lets be honest, that moment when you see that grapple hook grab that one guy around 1:38:07 Scorpion's, "GET OVER HERE!" was playing in your mind wasn't it? Sure was for me when I played this years ago.
Yooo, I'm in the funny shooting game.
Edit: ah shit I ded lol
Can someone get that lawyer that does the “lawyer reacts” videos to look at this? The one that’s friends with doctor mike? There’s so many war crimes atlas commits I think a review from him would be interesting.
That guy in the thumbnail is looking at something in the distance and says " I THINK THAT'S THE TARGET HOLDING A PLAYSTATION 5. I'M TAKING HIM DOWN!!!!".
lmao
The story was really great and was so unexpected during the part where u betray atlas because of the ‘truth’
I honestly doubt North Korea would ever be able to get any of that stuff, even in the 20-30 years that this takes place from now.
North Korea has way more than we can tell If a country has trades with the highest trading country (china) and while putting all of their economy in Army rather than electricity who would be stronger?
@@Ghori. They don’t make much more off of their illegal activities, and even if they actually poured their ENTIRE GDP into their military, it would still only be a fraction of South Korea’s, and especially of the US’s
@@TBH-nu2so Still True But we could take Ancient times as an Example Numbers don't matter tactics does
@@Ghori. Are you suggesting that the North Koreans can use tactics over weapons to win?
A). That definitely wasn’t their strategy during the Korean War, and neither was to use weapons. It was to throw waves of soldiers at the enemy. In other words, numbers.
B) The North Koreans have not developed any other strategy other than numbers since that war. It wouldn’t even matter what their strategy is, even South Korea alone holds an absolute advantage nowadays.
Facts But All I'm saying is we can't take North korea as a joke anything could happen
One thing i still find funny is how military now has shit that effectivly a flying aircraft carrier but no prostectics like the arm or atleast non you can use like it
50:47 “Carter are you alright!?” “I’m good”. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
In my opinion I like this campaign better than modern warfare. Strong opinion I know but that’s how I feel

This is the legit best game I have nice 👍
Not gonna argue with an opinion
Its amazing how great this game looked
Now we just got to figure out how many consoles, Switches, and PCs that this dude owns, and figure out the editing software that this dude uses
Is it just me or does COD mission never go according to plan? I haven't actually played any of the games but I'm watching videos on them and I'm starting to see a pattern.
I think this was the best Call of Duty so far...Thanks GLP for this gameplay. Best action sequences ive seen from most games. Great content as usual GLP, Brilliant stuff 👍👍
Little do people know that this game is not fiction, this shit all happens in the real world around you, and you have no idea its happening right now. There is no tragedy in this world that goes unexploited. One might think of a certain crisis that is currently ongoing, yes?
I acc miss this game so much it wasn’t half bad
Everyone was so mad at the jetpacks at the time (me included) that looking back it now, it was actually a lot of fun. Just didn't feel like Call of Duty. Sniping was fun af on this
This game alone>>> Black Ops 2+3 combined. The Exo-Suits are possible for the US military can wield in the next decade.
