Thanks for this video. Can you do a video on how to care for the heuschkeliana after it's rooted? What kind of soil, lighting, watering etc. There's not much on UA-cam. I'm so scared mine will die, I've heard this plant can be a diva!
Hi Theresa! Mine has totally died now! I'm so saddd. Unfortunately, I still haven't gotten the hang of Hoyas~ I'm going to try again, will keep you updated! Diva indeed! How's your Heuschekliana going?
@@plantspoetry sorry to hear about your heuschkeliana. That's very sad. Mine is still alive for the moment. It's in a tiny pot with soil and perlite. Then an inflated plastic bag to give it humidity. I'm not sure if it will make it.
@@theresapon2936 I’m so sorry 😢….why is it so hard to care for these plants?. Is there a place where I could buy one other than Etsy? I want to go for the challenge. One thing I learned with some plants is that the water makes a difference specifically the mango plant. When I used tap water to soak the seed they all died because of the chemicals in the water. I tried bottled water and the seed sprouted beautifully into a mango plant. Also I would change the water every day if it was very hot outside but Mango seeds like the still water and I didn’t need to change the water every day and I left the same water in the plastic cup for two weeks and it didn’t go stagnant. If you seen mold you would need to clean it off the seed and clean the cup and use fresh purified water again and you won’t have any problems. If I ever get one of these I’m using purified water
