Thanks for sharing, i love your Hoya collection. the fastest growing guy in my house is Hoya Carnosa. I have to cut them a lot to share with my friends since the pot is way to big and heavy. It only takes 1 year from cutting to have a full other 12'' pot plus blooming (i live in zone 5 which normally should take much longer for plant
Okay, I’ve been looking for a Hoya to add to my collection. I was thinking of going for the krona on Queen, but you sold me on the curtisii. 😍😍 so cute!!
Yes I was so surprised!! Haha I'm sure it'll grow some more peduncles soon :) I'm just hoping mine actually bloom instead of fall off like they usually do
I agree with the heuschkeliana variegata being a fast grower. I got an unrooted cutting from a friend, put it in water and within a week it already has 2 different areas with some roots already growing, probably about a 1/4' long. The plant has got some vigor, thats for sure! haha
Your hoya obovata has such a lovely shade of dark green. Could you please share your lighting condition? I wonder if I should give mine less light because I am getting a lighter green shade (not as healthy looking), though the pink splashes are kind of cute. Anyway, I love your hoya collection and would love to see more hoya focused videos!
It sits about a foot away from a grow light and I leave that on for about 12 hours per day! Maybe just move it a bit farther away from the light? And yes I definitely want to do more Hoya videos! Is there anything specific you would want to see?
Totally agree with heuschkeliana varigata, I was surprised how many growth points it push out in the 3 months I had it. I don't know what's up with my obovata but it's put out only one leaf in the 6 months I've had it, it's so slow in my dry environment. Some fast ones in my collection inlcude polyneura, Matilde, valmayoriana/blashernaezii, kanyakumariana, and Rebecca!
My Pachyclada just put out like 6 new growth points, and my Chelsie is pushing out 2 new leaves 😀 I am super excited about the Pachyclada though. I can't wait to get new leaves on her.
My Pubicalyx grow super fast. I have 4 different varieties they all grow fast. My Australis grows crazy fast too. The MultiFlora shooting star is so fast growing for me! My obavata is putting out like 6 new growth points and all have new leaves coming out. But I have like 53 different Hoya varieties and lots of them are very impressive growers!!
Yes the pubicalyx is a crazy grower!! I haven't heard much about the MultiFlora but I jujst looked it up and those blooms are stunning 😍 And wow that sounds like an amazing hoya collection!
What a great video! I’m working on my hoya video today as it is- I love that rectangulas one a lot and hope to get one next year- I find my H. australius to be a fast grower. My lisa not so much 😎
Ur pubicalyx splash is not splash..thats normal for pubicalyx to have some silver splash on it but splash have a masive splash on it. But yeah pubicalyx and australis are hoyas that grow really fast

I've never had a carnosa but I've heard a lot of people say they're super fast, so I definitely have to try one!
My fastest growing hoya is Hoya australis for sure. Followed by my Hoya pubicalyx splash. Love your Hoya rotundiflora!
Those are great ones! And thank you!
Always I said I love the background the plants and all the the set up 👍
Thank you! I really tried to make it feel festive :)
Cute plant my friend
Thank you!

Yes it's such a cutie!! I hope you find a great one!
Wow the obovata has grown super fast for you!!! Mine is definitely a very slow grower ….maybe i should had some grow lights 🤨
It really has! And ooh yes I think grow lights will make a big difference!
Aww a new camera how thoughtful 😊 seeing your peduncles and now I'm pretty sure I cut mine off my obovata 🥴 lesson learned lol
Yes I was so surprised!! Haha I'm sure it'll grow some more peduncles soon :) I'm just hoping mine actually bloom instead of fall off like they usually do
What a fun video! Love your Hoyas. My Hoya Australis is the fastest growing one. Can’t wait to see your slow growers.
Thank you! And ooh maybe I should try a regular australis - I have a lisa but that one has been such a slow grower for me :(

Haha I’m glad I’m not the only one! And wow that is crazy fast, maybe I should chop and prop mine soon!

Yes it was definitely a surprise! Ooh I haven't heard of all of those (although def agree on the polyneura and mathilde) - I have to check them out!

That's amazing! What's your secret?? My pachyclada hates me 😭 And ooh yes the chelsea is another fast growing one!
@@GetPlantyWithIt Absolutely no secret. I have no clue why she is doing so well 🤣. I water when dry and spray with orchid spray about once a week.

Ooh I can't wait to see it! And I've heard that australis are! My lisa is like yours, such a slow grower :(
variegated plants generally grow slower because they simply have less chlorophyll than their non-variegated versions
Yes, exactly!
Where do you get your tiny metal trellises?
I bought them from an Etsy shop, but it looks like the shop isn't open anymore :(
Where do you live girl? I have both publicalyx pink silver and royal hawaiian purple so I could some cuttings out to you.
Ur pubicalyx splash is not splash..thats normal for pubicalyx to have some silver splash on it but splash have a masive splash on it. But yeah pubicalyx and australis are hoyas that grow really fast
Oh I didn't know that, thank you! :)
Brevialata is fast.
Ooh I have to check that one out! Thanks for the suggestion :)
