- Lee Anderson - the MP for Ashfield - says he shouldn't apologise because he thinks he was right.

His comments were that London, its Mayor and Keir Starmer are all controlled by Islamists.
That was wrong, said Rishi Sunak today.
But the PM won't say whether they are racist, Islamophobic or just plain nasty.
Another Tory MP Paul Scully got into a row claiming London and Birmingham now had no-go areas, and the Equalities Minister was arguing with the former party chair on social media about the definition of Islamophobia.

Sadiq Khan’s, to reduce pollution by expanding the ULEZ to greater London is not working.
He doesn’t really care about pollution and air quality and here is why:
- He has already increased pollution and made London the slowest moving city in the world, it’s far worse now since he introduced the LTN’s which have increased pollution on the main roads because we are forced to use them as there are no other alternatives, especially during rush hour. The roads are now grid locked with traffic moving at walking pace and the fumes are getting denser and not dispersing because of it. LTN’s need to be reopened as it is causing more damage than good.
Among all this, the mileage in vehicles has also increased due to the fact that we are forced to go the long way round to get to the required destination - all accumulating to even more emission being emitted! Bravo Sadiq & team. (How can this be reducing pollution?!)
- Pedestrians as they walk along these main routes to get to stations, schools, shops are inhaling far more fumes than before, you can really notice this. Even drivers inhale more fumes when we are stuck in stationary traffic. This is really aggravating and makes no sense!
- Cycle Lanes: Should not be taking up an extra lane of the roads, large pavements could be divided into two for cyclists.
- The introductions of 20MPH roads are also a big problem because emission fumes don’t disperse quickly and the air is getting even more polluted because of the need to drive in lower gears. (higher revs = more fumes)
Sadiq’s statement: “It is to reduce toxic air pollution” is clearly not accurate, he has made matters far worse. It is obvious that his policies are just to clobber the motorist and to generate funds for TFL. The situation is getting extremely out of hand and something needs to be done to stop him from ruining our climate even more. He should resign and Londoners should vote for someone who will make London a greater and more desirable place to live in. There needs to be a more logical and strategic plan that is well thought out.

A statement was made but it alluded to the fact that Starmer told the speaker he would have blood on his hands if he didn't act....the speaker has since said he shouldn't have said it and regrets his error on acting on Starmers advice. If Starmer was so concerned about his duty of care why didn't he speak up himself and so it was out in the open and would help protect his people.

Tbh i think if their fears are to be addressed there needs to be consensus that most of Europe and the UK is a historically Christian country. The UK now has more than half the population not following any major religions and also a drop in church attendance. My solution to those who complain about multiculturalism is to have these people from the global south and their countries break ties with the west and embrace and multipolar world with china,russian, India etc. some of these people are looking for a better economic opportunity who can blame them, their respective countries are still being exploited for resources in a neo-colonial fashion by countries in the west or having their ability to develop their economies hampered by western institutions like the world bank and the imf in terms of debt repayments and conditions on opening up their economy in return for bailouts. If they want to develop they must abandon the west entirely and start with import substitution so they no longer have to import goods from the west.this would goes away to stemming economic migration. Once some of these people in the west that complain about migration realise that their standard of living is propped up by the exploitation of the global south, they'll soon be begging for people to migrate back to them by which time it'll already be too late. And it will be the west that is the 3rd world country. However if this is not to happen then there must be an understanding from those who vote reform or conservative or believe in capitalism that the solution to rising inequality and also climate change is eco-socialism.

My solution to those who complain about multiculturalism is to have these people from the global south and their countries break ties with the west and embrace and multipolar world with china,russian, India etc. some of these people are looking for a better economic opportunity who can blame them, their respective countries are still being exploited for resources in a neo-colonial fashion by countries in the west or having their ability to develop their economies hampered by western institutions like the world bank and the imf in terms of debt repayments and conditions on opening up their economy in return for bailouts. If they want to develop they must abandon the west entirely and start with import substitution so they no longer have to import goods from the west.this would goes away to stemming economic migration. Once some of these people in the west that complain about migration realise that their standard of living is propped up by the exploitation of the global south, they'll soon be begging for people to migrate back to them by which time it'll already be too late. And it will be the west that is the 3rd world country. However if this is not to happen then there must be an understanding from those who vote reform or conservative or believe in capitalism that the solution to rising inequality and also climate change is eco-socialism.

I'm British and I'm currently spending a lot of time in Malaysia. The stall where I buy my fruit, the guy asked me: "is it true there are a lot of muslims in London and they call London 'Londonistan'?". I really didn't know how to reply to that question. I also find it vaguely interesting that a Labour leader can recognise Islamophobia and obviously define what that word means but cannot be easy in defining what a woman is.
