There are many areas in inner cities where the indigenous population are very cautious to enter. Many feel very afraid. Vast majority are immigrants who do not speak English, or it is their second language, they have a different religion and culture. Move around in large groups and do not interact with the indigenous people who move out of the area because they no longer feel welcome where they may have lived for years. I know I have had that experience and it is very frightening.

I am liking your show. I have been loosely following the Lee Anderson story because I need a bit of respite from American politics 🤦♀️ I am also thrilled Harry lost his case, and while privacy is important, one cannot help but feel that something is off with William and the King Charles. Whatever it is, I hope all is well.

Sarah Vine needs to be far less judgmental and stop stirring up rumors and trouble. As someone who had major abdominal surgery at age 40, I can say that we are just beyond the six weeks point, and that is when I began to feel more secure, regained more stamina, and felt real progress with rehab. Even then, I still faced restrictions that limited many normal activities (lifting over 10 pounds, anything that could pull or stress my incision). Catherine does not work at a desk; she has to stand for long periods and walk briskly; she always has to look immaculate and in fine form; she must greet adults and children with energy and enthusiasm at all times; she must travel, often by helicopter. Does Sarah imagine that Catherine's doctors did not consider her health and these concerns when they determined her treatment and set the benchmarks/requirements for her return to duties? Moreover, if upon return, Catherine shows any hint of being short of complete recovery and fighting trim, the worry will begin again, and worse, so will unfounded rumors and criticism, such as that levelled by Ms. Vine. Let's have some patience, respect for her doctors,, and respect for Catherine in her efforts to return to duty, please.

I think the Palace has handled this very badly. Lets be honest there is a lot of talk about a hysterectomy. Many women have this operation, no need to keep it secret. Camilla had a hysterectomy and it was announced and then we all moved on. Fact is by all this secrecy it makes the social media go wild. Simply state the truth and all these speculations would stop. We need to know what is happening with Charles. I know that if you have EARLY cancer you are often treated by chemo TABLETS at home. If he needs infusions, this is NOT an early stage of cancer!!

The Palace are making the speculation worse by their vague comments about Kate and the King. . The King is ill with cancer and yet we do not know what kind of cancer or what kind of treatment is he rerceiving. For William to withdraw from such a serious event at such short notice would indicate that something has happened unexpectedly to Kate. It would only be something about Kate that would make William cancel his appearance at his GodFather's memorial. Andrew turning up with a massive smug grin on his face was dreadful PR. The person who should have headed the Royal Family was Princess Anne!!! It seems to be going from bad to worse!!

William's absence - could it be that it was orchestrated that he would pull out at last minute to see what the public's reaction would be towards Andy taking the helm. Afterall the royal family is a bit thin on the ground at the moment due to "staff absenteeism", so they need to bring in reinforcements so maybe it was a test to see how the public would react to Andy. If there wasn't too much of a backlash, they may be able to get Andy to take on more responsbilities in the future. Just a thought. BTW wishing King Charles and Duchess Kate a speedy recovery.
It was a private family function and no formal order of procession was required. Andrew wasn’t taking the helm, although it did give that impression. Andrew and Sarah were also personally invited by the Greek RF. The media perhaps need to be restricted from attending private royal family events to avoid the speculation.
The Queen led the service and she arrived last as per protocol, as was always the case with the late Queen Elizabeth. Andrew leading the family to this private family event means nothing at all.

Lee Anderson, the same as every Briton is entitled to his opinion. He might have chosen to withhold his standpoint, but he opted to share. Now, whilst his viewpoint might be unpopular, it is his right to hold a belief contrary to what are considered societal norms without being forced to apologise for that belief. There are many things in this old world that I find deeply offensive, but I understand that it is the right of the individual to express it, or keep it to themselves regardless of the herd mentality. An opinion is not a fact, it is an interpretation based upon knowledge, sometimes erroneous, sometime painfully accurate. An opinion, if it it patently idiotic, can and should be ridiculed, but nobody should apologise for what might be, to some, unpalatable. It is worth remembering that it is only an opinion, it neither has teeth nor claws unless it is allowed to by those who simply need to stop bloody whining!
