Cracking climb up kinda & that snow just adds to the challenge very beautiful and cold I bet. You have some good films on your channel good work enjoyed this subscribed and best wishes Simon 🙏🏼
Snowy hikes are great, and grindsbrook clough is definitely one of my favourite ways up Kinder too. Hopefully you get plenty more opportunities for hikes in the snow this winter!
Brilliant video. Kinder in the snow is amazing. The climb up grindsbrook must have been tough in those conditions. It certainly adds to the excitement when you are racing the daylight. I’ve subscribed to your channel as I make Peak District videos too and I love to check other channels for inspiration. I’m really looking forward to following your adventures 👍
Thanks Anthony, Kinder in the snow is definitely a different experience but very enjoyable. I did watch one of your video the other day, the one about finding bothies in the peak district, I enjoy it 👍
@@Dominic_in_the_Outdoors oh yes. I remember that one when I nearly fell in the river en route to them 😂. I went to another bothy in my new video. If you are interested in checking any of the bothies out and want location details, let me know 👍
What a beautiful walk for us to watch 😍 Good decision on the time-I’m a bit obsessed with working out how much daylight I’ve got left but that’s not a bad thing I guess.. What gloves were you wearing? It’s always my fingers that get really cold!
Yes it was a great walk. Before any winters walk I make sure I know what time the sun is setting. I was wearing rab vapour rise gloves. They were warm enough for me on this walk but if you feel the cold I would probably recommend something else.
I didn't feel any water leaking into the boots which is a good start, a few more miles still needed to form a good opinion. The wind was behind me on the way down so I didn't have as much wind and snow in my face.
Hello, new to your channel. Some great looking videos in your back catalogue, cant wait to check then out! Brilliant snowy walk, very envious! The the Salomon boots, had two pairs over the last 8 years, still get use to this day!💥 New sub here 💥 if you get a chance please do check our channel out too 🤗❤ festive regards, Ceri and Kat 🎅👍☕☕
Hi, thanks for checking out the channel there is a bit of a range of videos so enjoy. Its very rare that I get to find some snow but I always enjoy it when I do. A lot of people I know use solomon boots so I'm keen to see it they live up to the hype. I'll check out your channel as well after your kind words 👍

Yes it was a great walk! Its a nice route to find the true summit as there isn't much of a marker there.
That 🌲 saved me and the team, true story 🤣

How did the boots cope with the water? & Did you leave your goggles at the top?
I didn't feel any water leaking into the boots which is a good start, a few more miles still needed to form a good opinion. The wind was behind me on the way down so I didn't have as much wind and snow in my face.
How did the jacket perform?
The jacket did well, although its not waterproof it kept the snow off me.
