- Here's a clip of the SARMOTI duo broadcast in the late 1970's on an HBO special hosted by Dick Cavett. This has to be their first TV appearance, but if anyone has anything before this, please share it!
And 8 months later, Siegfried passed away in January of 2021 at the age of 81. 😭😭

This is from the tv special "Hocus Pocus It's Magic", which Dick Cavett hosted in the 70's. He also hosted another similar one called "The HBO magic show". S&R had their own tv special in the 70's as well. I'm not sure if it was before this or not but believe so. I've never seen it since I saw it as a young magician when it aired. Thanks for sharing this. :)

It wasn't their first appearance on T.V. They were on a segment of Gunther Gabel William's T.V. Special which aired around 1977 and as others have posted there were other T.V. shows as well.
