You are missing the retainer that wraps around the spool eye. When shifting into raise the spool eye is pulled up to pump casting to stop in raise. In the lower position the spool eye is forced against the retainer to line spool and valve body cores. Without the retainer an air shift without a proper calibrated stroke could over stroke spool and throttle bed retraction
The Hombres at ARS hired me for a few days While my Lifter Cam was getting replaced in Mt truck…That only cost me $5 G’s… My lifter Roller froze & shaved down my Cam. Resulting in very low oil pressure 🥴
That’s what mine was doing. Probably have to do the same thing I did. Also. The coupler on the end of the hydraulic line connecting the line to the truck can cause the same problem. Change that and/or the entire hydraulic line. Hope this helps. Good luck.
I’m 52 years old with close to 2 Million miles under my Belt with a CLEAN CDL.. “Smokin’ Joe from Chicago, waving 4 fingers & one Thumb… Beep, Beep” If ya ever need help running you’re sweet A.. Dump.. Reach out the next time that I’m in your ear😎
NICE. I also run a 34ft end dump and had a rock get stuck on the backside of that valve, box wouldn't go down took a while but I figured it out.
Wow. Small world. Glad you figured it out as well.

You apparently have 10 tons of patience to build amps and own a truck. At 70 an 50yrs trucking I have none.
