Jen I just want to tell you that I never get bored of your channel, even though you only post twice a week I feel like it's well-thought out content with lots of b-roll footage of swatches and application. I know that takes a lot of time and I want you to know that I and many others appreciate that. I stopped watching other UA-camrs that posted often but seemed to just phone it in and don't put a lot of thought or care into their videos. YOU are the hidden gem of UA-cam and I hope you reach a million subscribers (BTW you're almost at 90K!).
Aw thank you SO much for the kind words Amanda. 🥰🥰 Sometimes I get down on myself because I don't post as often as other beauty creators. But you're right, all of that extra swatch/try-on footage takes up a lot of time and then putting it all together is additional editing time as well. Thank you for the boost...it makes me feel so good to know that the extra work is noticed and appreciated! 💕
Okay WOW. That Wet n Wild Pinkgasm dupe is incredible! I loved watching you apply them side by side, you can really get a sense of how similar they look on the skin. FANTASTIC video as always.
Your channel is the best for showing products!! You show swatches of everything you talk about. Most channels don’t do that. I can always count on you to show what a product really looks like. 🥰
I can't imagine ever being tired of dupes/hidden gems/drugstore priced make-up videos. While I have older lux products, like small eye shadow palettes, I cannot stomach the thought of spending the prices of brands like Dior anymore. I love having a list to look to when I head out to a Target or even Ulta. Thanks so much for these!! 💖 And you're also one of the very few fellow cool tone gals, so knowing which foundation colors work on you has been a lifesaver. I really want to try out that No.7 foundation...
i was one of those girls who was on a hunt for a pinkgasm. Right now I will finish watching the video and i am going to my local shop where my craving for this experience product will be fulfilled. I already love this wet and willd stick. Thank you again for saving me my hard earned money!
Aw you're very welcome! It's funny because I've had the WnW stick for a while and didn't even realize how similar it was until I put them side-by-side. I was searching for Pinkgasm for months before I finally got it...now I'm sorry I wasted my money. The packaging is also very messy...the WnW one is so much neater and easier to use.
I love your channel because you talk about affordable products and as a newly retired single teacher, I am on a tight budget and appreciate your suggestions. Plus I love the warm skin toned products you include since I am a dark autumn. So many of the beauty vloggers that I have watched show mostly cool products. Thanks for all you do.
Always nice to find good drugstore makeup whether it is a new release or one that’s been around for awhile. I would love to see a full brand review of No7 makeup. I feel like there would be a lot of hidden gems there!
I just started watching Jen today! first she showed the Wet nwild blush stick which I found accidentally a month ago:-) Then she showed the Boots #7 whixch Ive been wearing for 4ish years in Cool Vanilla because Im a neutral cool tone!! Finally! a legitimately great channel to watch
I’m so happy to see that blush is a dupe for CT pinkgasm! I have the WnW one and had been wanting to get my hands on pinkgasm and had no idea I already had something that similar in my collection already 🥰
I’ll tell you an even better dupe for Hollywood Flawless filter shades 1-2 for sure . The wet n wild glass Correct primers. The green one is a dupe for shade 1 when it’s blended in and the yellow one is a dupe for shade 2 blended in. I like the Glass Correct better because they are very moisturizing and plumping all while giving that same reflect that I love from HFF.
Yes! The blush stick from WW is gorgeous, I’ve been using for about 2 yrs now. Their bronzer sticks are great too. The maybelline single shadows are amazing. I personally love “dusty rose” I’ve repurchased twice already.
Love these types of videos !💕🌷🌸💕💕. My tip for getting off stubborn lids is to grab my Dish washing gloves ! The palms of the gloves are gripping and textured and usually gives my hands enough help to open most things 🌷💕🌸🌷
I use that megaglo in peach bums from wet and wild all the time! I love that product! There are so many great items at the drugstore. I used to shop nothing but high end makeup when I was younger. But now, I just head out to the drugstore rather than some department store. Not knocking the other. Just realizing you can get the same look a lot cheaper. Thanks for the video! ❤️💜💚
Can we crown you queen of dupes already??!!??!! 🙌💕 Honestly, and I will never get tired of commenting the same: your effort, your dedication to your channel, your love for what you do, and your hard work really shows. Thank you for always bringing the best of the best content for us, your subscribers! ❤
Yes Believe Beauty is an excellent brand. Almost everything they make is good. The blushes, bronzers, highlighters, lipsticks, mascaras, loose powder, foundation and brushes are all great and so cheap.
@@monstermcboo7282 I highly recommend the split pan blushes, loose powder and bullet lipsticks. It's basically all good except they need better brow products.

love love, to watch you Jen. I have very dry skin. I'm 75 years old and I can't wait to try them. they are not manymakeup artists like you that show us dry and very mature skin. thanks so much and keep sending please.
That Wet and Wild dupe is SPOT ON‼️ I’ve been wanting to try the CT liquid blush for so long!!! Now I don’t have to! Loved all these products❤️❣️❤️ Thanks so much!!! This video was so fun 🤩
Ooh I’m definitely going to try the Wet n Wild blush stick. Might be unpopular opinion but I don’t like the packaging on the Charlotte Tilbury ones. Mine is messy around the cap. Love these videos ❤️
I feel the same way!! It skeeves me out that the product kind of just sits in that sponge (because too much comes out when you use it). Then next time I go to use it, there's old, semi-dried out product on top. 😬
I am a brand new subscriber, as of today. I love how you are so thorough! Wow- Even explaining about the eyeshadows being hard to open. That’s a gem in itself. Plus, now I know what to buy instead of my Clinique take the day off. You just save me some money😁
A great Dupe for both the Huda Beauty Luminous Matte foundation and the Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation is the Hard Candy GlamoFlauge 16Hr Wear foundation. The consistency is more like the Huda beauty one, but overall the finish and wear is absolutely comparable to those two, and better yet ZERO breakouts and its under $10! Total Steal. Perfect for combo to oily skin. I just pay attention to screw the cap after every dip to avoid it drying out because its doesn't have a pump, it has a wand. I apply it with a sponge (Best one Ive tried is the Paw Paw from AOA) or the Omnia BOM-175 which is fantastic at blending in creams and liquids by just using dabbing motions; this is key because I don't want to buff on top of sunscreen.
Yes! This is my current more glam like foundation. I prefer tints - but the hard candy glamoflauge is SO GOOD. When I want something to last and my skin isn’t having a good day it’s my go to. Haven’t found anything that beats it.
@@pattyann1963 I still havent found a light coverage product that I like on my oily skin that doesnt break me out and its longwearing. For example the Pixi H2o skintint was perfection except it broke me out sadly. I like the Clinique Stay Matte foundation though they dont have a color for me. I have to do a lot of highliting to wear it. Do you have any natural matte ones you like?
@@tedoymisojos I struggle too finding matte. I like loreals serum. It has held up on my oily skin very well. And cover girls clean matte bb cream actually lasted on me through a workout. Only a little shine. Haha But I know what you mean. I haven’t found *it* yet. The L’Oréal hasn’t been too bad but I didn’t wear it through a summer yet. The weather is cold by me so I have a feeling during the summer it might not hold as well.
I love the Catrice baked bronzer, gives a glowy neutral kiss of bronze to the skin. And the Sheglam liquid bronzer is great too, thanks for introducing me to another affordable brand! I do miss the Jordana brand, I haven't been able to find replacements for their black eyeliner or mascara yet at the same price range.
Maybelline’s eye palette in Nudes of New York is phenomenal. It’s almost as good as their singles. I have been loving their singles for years! I use Soft Pearl for my brow bone and inner corner highlight. I have hit pan on a couple!
You are a great youtuber for your content, always useful, that's why I always recommend your channel when I have a chance. And I like you talk not only about the products all the youtubers are talking about, but you also include as you said many hidden gems. Now I've just included a couple of products to my wishlist! (like the WnW stick blush and the Revlon creme eyeshadows!)
Funny l was just struggling to get one of my Revlon eyeshadow pots opened this morning, l screw them tight so they don't dry out. Ended up going with my Revlon Glaze Stick in Rose instead, I also have the Velour stick in Sierra. They're so pretty but can be a bit delicate ❤
As far as gripping, you can use a thicker rubber band on the pot or you can use a gripper...I use the one that looks like a weave but it's synthetic material. You can find them in kitchen gadgets. They look like coasters and come in packs of 2 or is it 4. Anyway I use both these methods on anything that I can't get a grip on, even nail polish bottles. Also, for the glowy product like Loreal Lumi but a product called Spotlight made by Physician's Formula is absolutely beautiful and it's a little thinner formula. I love it!!
Loved this video, Jen! I’m so glad to see the WnW blush mentioned and the Maybelline singles. I’ve loved those for years and never hear anything about them. The WnW blush stick in Floral Majority is a beautiful color without the highlight sheen. I love the Maybelline colors in Glo Down and Nude Glow to dot over the center of the lid when any palette shimmers need brightening up. Thanks for another fun video!
Jen, I had to laugh, I too was in the old website list of CT’s glowgasm( pink ) and they did contact me over the weekend. I didn’t want to part with 40. , and now Tuesday I see your dupe of WET& wild blush stick . Side by side comparison is stunning !! this is why you’re a growing / glowing ( lol ) channel !! Thanks my yt friend of beauty !
These are some of my favorite videos that you make Jen! Sometimes I love just going to the drugstore and looking at all the older makeup to see if there's something I remember liking in the past. Then it's fun to try it again years later and see if it's as good as I remember.
I’m sure you already know about these but in terms of single shadows especially toppers or sparkly ones the most affordable best quality ones I’ve ever personally used are the essence melted chrome eyeshadows I really wish they would come out with more shades because I can’t believe what a great formula it is it doesn’t crease on me or get weird when I put it over Matt shadows and they’re just amazing
@@JenPhelps oh of course they did … cuz I just discovered them 🤦♀️🤦♀️😂😂 JK Essence has been stepping up their game so I’m HOPING maybe they’ll come out with some new launches of those in the spring ?? Good thing I have 3 backups of my fave one which is the silvery sparkly one so fingers crossed lol
I could watch you do a 2 hour video of this exact content. Thank you for looking out for us with great, less expensive products. I'm getting that No. 7 foundation tomorrow because it looks so nice on you. An entire brand review of No. 7 would be great! Thanks again Jen, another great video ☺️
I had the same problem with Revlon creme shadows. I slid the brush out, flipped it upside down, put it back in slot and used it as leverage to get the pot open.
I like the Believe duo blushes, too. I also like their bronzer, but I think they have new ones now that I haven't tried yet. I've been enjoying Palladio bronzers, blushes, and mosaic bronzers lately. I saw a new Physicians formula big pan blush at Walmart I didn't pick it up but I did pick up a couple of their other happy booster blushes they had out. And they had full stock of the new Elf cc powder foundation...so got one of those...and am testing out LA Girl gel liner I saw. lol Good vid! Love the dupes. Wow, the WnW peachy blush looks spot on!
omg, these are my favorite videos!!! i’m on board with soooo much of what you said in this video. i loveeee the wet n wild peach bums cream blush. i have to try the no 7 foundation AND pressed powder. 💖💖💖
Hi Jen. I found the Revlon cream shadows while beautiful..do dry out very quickly. I also used the W&W cream blush many years ago and yes..it was before the cream craze. I still like them. Thanks for a great vid.
Is it? Now I may have to go grab it...I saw them in-store and they looked very orange. But I know that sometimes creams can be deceiving and sometimes look different on the outside than they swatch. :)
Jen thank you for highlighting the No7 foundation. It has been my go to for over a year and is never talked about. I only could find it at Target but now all of my local stores have had it on clearance and I fear that they are going to not be carrying this product anymore. Hopefully that is not the case as I have not been able to find it anywhere else consistently.
They are just repackaging it! I was in Walgreens the other day and they had half of the Lift and Luminate in new packaging and some in the older style. :)
No 7 lift & luminate is my holy grail. I enjoy their pressed and loose powder as well. Their protect & perfect is pretty good as well and the concealer
Believe Beauty has been talked about so much. I really need to try it. I have a Dollar General down the street and it's so affordable. I have no more exceses :) Ty you for another great video!!
Love love love the No7 lift and luminate foundation. I've received multiple compliments on my complexion when wearing it. Not talked about enough! Interested in the cream shadows you mention.
I love these videos!! I bought those Maybelline single shadows years ago from the recommendation of UA-camrs wearing them as a highlight!! They're beautiful! You persuaded me to pick up the Believe Beauty blushes in the summer. Also gorgeous!! Next on my list is the Revlon bronzer!! I can't wait to try it! Thanks Jen! 😘
I love the Revlon pot eyeshadow, I think I have 6 , they are so easy to use, a few of mine my husband took pliers to to get them opened, the lids were definitely on there!!!
I like the Revlon Colorstay shadows too and have a few. The first time I open them I wrap a rubber band around the lid (the ones that come on bunches of broccoli are very handy) then twist - works great! Also, I add the Lumiglow in light to a variety of products (tinted sunscreens and tinted primers) and find I don't need foundation. Really livens up my 60+ yo skin - particularly in winter! The medium is perfect in the summer, and I mix them for spring and fall. Thanks for another great video Jen!!
That Revlon colorstay creme eyeshadow is a go-to one and done look for me! Been using them for years on my mature hooded eyes, they are a great product. Love the videos!!
I enjoy all of yours videos! You just saved me a lot of money b/c I was prepared to buy the CT Pinkgasm when it came back in stock. I actually have the WNW stick, so no need to spend that money! Thanks Jen 😊😊
I do love these videos, but my wallet doesn’t. 😂 I still end up spending a lot at the drugstore. I’ve found some amazing drugstore products through you, more than any other UA-camr I watch. 💯
I absolutely LOVE your videos and your dupes videos are my absolute FAVORITE! PLEASE MAKE MORE! I am 50 years old and have really great skin with a little texture and some fine lines around my eyes. Your videos gave taught me a lot about how to wear my makeup in a flattering way.
Thanks for these suggestions! I really prefer the Maybelline Color Tatoo single cream eyeshadow to the Revlon ones you mentioned. The Maybelline have better packaging and don't dry out nearly as fast as the Revlon. They're longer lasting on the eyes too. Highly recommend them!
I found both the Maybelline and Revlon cream shadows dried out really fast. Loved them so much but after about a year I had to declutter because they were so dry.
I love Believe Beauty marbled bronzers I purchased all 3 of the colors. I live in Ohio and I have access to several Dollar Generals and a lot of the times they have products that are sold out. Love the Revlon creme eyeshadows in the pots! Great video love your channel!!
I LOVE the Wet n Wild sticks, and use the Maple and Walnut shades for my cream contour. I've been curious about the concealer and highlight sticks from WnW. The Loreal glowtion potion is my go-to for mixing a couple of drops into my foundation for a subtle glow. It's just so good! Great video!
Thanks so much for putting these dupe videos together. Love that you swatch everything and just the amount of time you put into researching everything.
LOVE these video's!! I know what I'm buying this weekend! Those Maybelline and Revlon singles. I've really been into one and done eye looks lately, so those are perfect! Thanks so much for saving me 💰!

One thing that you do that I really love is tell whether a blush dries down. I can't stand a blush that stays tacky like Tarte cheek sticks. Your skin looks lovely today--I wonder if it's the Revlon bronzer? Another thing I like is how you try these on for us. Keep posting twice a week--the quality content is much appreciated.xo
Soooo good! A+++ We moved during the summer and there’s a DG down this block! Also, my grocery store (HEB) just got Moira on the shelves! I tried one of the cream eyeshadows and it’s AMAZING! I’m so thankful that you introduced it to us. (I’m going to rewatch the video featuring Moira to check for other suggestions) In fact, my H-E-B is is well-stocked with Elf, Moira, Milani, etc that I won’t need to go to Ulta. My twin sister, brother in law and father in law all passed on Monday, and your beautiful face and sweet personality has really lifted my spirits. You’re a balm to my heart. I hope the rest of your week is wonderful. 🌸
Mary Ann first and foremost I am so sorry to hear about your loss! 😥🙏 I will include you and your family in my prayers and I hope you can find peace in this difficult time. 💗 I'm so jealous that you live near a HEB...we don't have them in the Northeast. I wish I could buy Moira in person!
If grip is an issue, I usually use rubber bands. I wrap it around what I’m trying to grip a couple of times if possible. Water bottle caps, caps for some little jars, etc.
Some of these products look amazing. I had forgotten all about that No7 foundation. When I first bought it I wore it nonstop. You are right - it’s so good! Can’t wait to see if it is a dupe for the Nars because I’ve been thinking about trying it. I love the Believe Beauty cream blushes. I only have one but it’s so good.
Yes, the Maybelline single shadows have been my go to one and done shadows for several years. I use The Glo Down and Taupe. I’ve never tried them wet. Who else made a trip to Dollar General with their husband when they were on vacation? 🙋🏻♀️
We are going to Mexico next month and I have been thinking about my travel makeup, this video was just what I needed!! I wear minimal makeup in the tropics, so I will pickup the Megaglow blush stick and couple of the Revlon creme shadows, so perfect🥰. I will just add a bit of lipgloss, brows and mascara!
Great video Jen! Those Maybelline single shadows are a great staple to have in your makeup collection. Ulta also has great single shadows as well as cream shadows. Cover Girl has some new blushes out at Ulta (on line but I’m not sure if it’s available in the store) that have beautiful dimensions, very high end appearance and elf has a new light blue palette to die for (in my opinion!) along with light blue creamy shadow sticks (also in white) you can use as a base to layer. Last year I got so tired of pink and orange eyeshadow I went on a mission to get light blues and must settled on 2 or 3 mini palettes and then I recently saw the elf one has ALL the colors I was searching for.🤦🏼♀️ Thanks for all the thought you put into your videos and for all the jam packed information/products!! 💖
@@JenPhelps I just returned from my local Ulta and they weren’t in stock yet and the same for the elf Cookies and Dreams palette as well as the eye crayons. I haven’t been this excited over new makeup launches in a while. Can’t wait for both!
A couple more items to add to my makeup shopping list. Love the Wet N Wild Blush and L'Oreal Glotion. No. 7 Lift & Luminate Foundation is nice and love the SPF as well. Thanks, Jen. Blessings!
So many fantastic gems!!!! I have that Bare Minerals bronzer that you showed. Also surprised that they discontinued it. Will definitely try the Revlon. And I must try the Revlon Nude Glow.. looks great. You gave us so many great options; can’t wait to get to the store!!!! Thanks so much… always look forward to your videos.
I miss Jordana too!! I wish Milani hadn't decided to get rid of their sister brand. :(
Maybelline’s eye palette in Nudes of New York is phenomenal. It’s almost as good as their singles. I have been loving their singles for years! I use Soft Pearl for my brow bone and inner corner highlight. I have hit pan on a couple!
Yes, that's the only one that's a good formula! I wish they would make more like it.
Aw thank you so much!! 🥰❤️
Love the single shadows. I had nude glow at one time and it was great.
Your hair looks so pretty today! I love your videos, and comment often how wonderful they are! Keep up the great work, and we will keep watching❤️
These are some of my favorite videos that you make Jen! Sometimes I love just going to the drugstore and looking at all the older makeup to see if there's something I remember liking in the past. Then it's fun to try it again years later and see if it's as good as I remember.
Hi Eleanor! I do the same thing sometimes! :)
Finally someone that understands the term drugstore!!
Thank you for all of your hard work putting this together for us. Great alternatives!
Congratulations on 90k subs, Jen! 🎉 I’m so happy to see your channel succeed because you’re the best
Thank you so much Kasey! 🥰🥰🥰
I love those! But they seem to have discontinued them, sadly!
Those wet n wild sticks are so good! The bronzer one is almost an exact dupe for the milk bronzer stick.
I LOVE the Wet and Wild Peach Bums! So pretty!
No 7 lift & luminate is my holy grail. I enjoy their pressed and loose powder as well. Their protect & perfect is pretty good as well and the concealer
I have 3 of the maybelline matte single eyeshadows. Theyre great but so colorful and forget to use them
I love the Revlon bronzer & the Believe Beauty blush too!
Thanks for the tip on the revlon cream shadows! I bought 1 but haven’t been able to open it.
Jen, I love your dupe videos. It's always interesting to see the High End vs. the Drugstore
Wow!!!! The Wet and Wild Blush stick is incredible!! It is so worth it!! Don’t miss out!!!
Loved this Jen!! I definitely want to try some of these suggestions. I love drugstore makeup. Thanks for this! You look stunning!🤩❤
I ABSOLUTELY LOVEEE your dupes and hidden gems videos! They're the BEST on UA-cam!!
Your swatches and comparisons are second to none, Jen! Love these videos
Thanks Jen! 😘
The bronzer from Revlon is incredible. I was surprised from the quality. The best drugstore bronzer
Thank you for continuing to provide us with great content! It makes buying makeup easier-and you give great suggestions!!!😘
Aw thank you Leeza! 🥰🥰
I only use the no 7 lift and eliminate foundation in cool vanilla as well! Love it!!
Holy crap!- blown away by that WNW blush stick dupe!!!
Aw that makes me so happy to hear!! 🥰🥰
No kidding .. I got paper/pen out to get a list going .. lol
I’m so deeply thankful for this videos 😍
I love you jen. Thank you sooo much for these drugstore videos. You are the best!
I love those too!!
Congratulations for hitting 90 thousand subscribers. You're definitely worth it. I remember when I became your sub scriber at 17 thousand. You definitely deserve it 🌹. You have a great content in your channel with many topics , never seen in any other channels. Wish you many many more. Love ya from Athens Greece ❤️
Aw thank you so much Meggie! Wow you've been with me for a long time and I appreciate that so much!🥰🥰
@@JenPhelps ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Another great post, thanks. Also - if you have problems opening something, just pop on a pair of washing up gloves for added grip. It works for me x
I am with you 100%...can't stand a sticky cheek product! On my cheeks today is the Believe Beauty blush/highlight combo I showed at the end. :)
I have those same three Maybelline singles! Love them!
Fabulous video - wow, some incredible dupes. Will drive across town to Dollar General!
Cheers from central FL!
I'm so jealous that you live near a HEB...we don't have them in the Northeast. I wish I could buy Moira in person!
My sympathies for your bereavement. 🙏
So very sorry for your enormous loss at one time, prayers 🙏
@@donnanowak3814 thank you so much 🌸
@@jeanetteh.9240 thank you 💕
If grip is an issue, I usually use rubber bands. I wrap it around what I’m trying to grip a couple of times if possible. Water bottle caps, caps for some little jars, etc.
That would have been a great idea! I currently have no rubber bands in the house. 🤦♀️
Dear Jen, thank you for the content. I love each of your very thoughtful content. Wishing you all the best with deep appreciation!
Jessica braun says one of the Ulta cream blushes is a duo for Pinkgasm as well! Can’t wait to see your dupe
Jeeeeeen! Your almost at 100k suscribers 😍So proud and happy for you, you deserve it!
Aww thank you so much! I'm so excited!🥰
I’ve also used the Maybelline single in “The Glo Down” as a gorgeous highlighter! Collar bone, shoulders, everywhere, stunning.
That's an awesome use for it!
Could never get sick of em! Love all of ur videos but especially this kind💕😁
Yes that Elf Cookies & Dreams palette looks so beautiful! I need to check for those CoverGirl blushes now. :)
Stay safe with the new storm that might be heading in your direction 🌸🌸🌸🌸.
Thanks Elaine! I have a feeling we won't have school tomorrow!
@@JenPhelps Get the hot cocoa ready😊
Ohio. Where there’s a Dollar General on every block. Wish they would take some of ours to you all! 🤣 We have 10 within about a 15 mile radius!
Oh that would be amazing, haha! The closest one is 40 minutes from me! :(
The pistachio eyeshadow is gorgeous on you.
Love your channel. I take notes from most every video! Speaking of the Wet n Wild stick blush in Peach Bums, I own it and love it. The highlighter stick is also amazing. Pre-COVID they both lived in my travel kit. They are underrated for sure!
Thank you for sharing I just moved and I got a DG close by im gonna have to check that brand out!!!
I LOVE these videos so much! I never would have thought that the Maybelline single e/s were so great. All of the products that you mentioned are items I normally wouldn't have thought to pick up but are now something I will purchase. I also love Believe Beauty products. Their foundation is amazing! PS-The green top that you were wearing during your demo's is YOUR color. So pretty on you! Thanks for another amazing video.
Thank you so much Diana! That green hoodie is one of my favorites (Old Navy!).
Awesome, as usual! You do such an amazing job putting these videos together and presenting them to us!
Ha! I’ve been using that Wet n Wild blush for a while but in Floral Majority which is my favorite color. Now I will break out the Peach Bums shade and give it another try. ☺️ So pretty!
