- Finally! No more bump-steer on our Jeep Wrangler! Previously, with the stock damper, the steering was all over the place… it could be a little scary at times. Rough Country’s dual stabilizer has been doing a great job of stabilizing these huge 37” tires. Overall, a quick and easy install with noticeable results! Go take a peek in the links below. Great meeting you today at Cumberland Farms. Great video!
Great video, helped me solve the same problem
Good Jobs my friend 🎉
I have 2014 JKU, have you had any problems with rocker noise ?
I changed out the knuckles with Reid High Steer. 2.5 ton steering kit. Steer Smarts adjustable track bar. Added heavy duty ball joints. No stabilizer. Perfectly straight down the road.
Jeez! That sounds sweet!
Damn you from mass!! We should go wheeling at some point in with wicked Jeep’s if New England
Hi Henrique, what grill you have on your Jeep?? @oscdeniz
I have the same setup and I have steering problems so I was recommended to go with a flip drag link and remove my drop pitman arm and get my oem pitman arm back on ,
Not sure if that will help my problem.
Good thinking! I think I'll also be switching to a flip drag link... the drop pitman arm just makes for more play huh?
is it harder to turn the steering wheel left and right when you drive with these shocks on?
Just barely. The power steering makes it not difficult-- I couldn't really even notice the difference
Nice job on video!
One question though; How did you get Rough Country send a kit with all of the parts in the shipment.
I'm on week two waiting for a (part # 8100BAG) mount and it's all excuses from them.
Thanks! I'm sorry to hear you're having delays with your order. Our stabilizer kit came complete in one box. It's strange you're receiving parts separately.
@@JDCarsChannel RC sent the kit out with only one 8100BAG, there was supposed to be two.
Do I have to drop down my tie rod to access the stock shock bolt?
No,you can do it without removing the tire or the tie rode. Don't even need to lift it.
Not sure why no one seems to use a shock boot..
Likely because a shock boot positioned horizontally would accumulate water and dirt, unable to drain like the traditionally vertically positioned boot.
You could have just turned the wheel to access the bolt lol
You got to turn those bolts around on the track bar or it's going to eat that shock up. :[
Thank you for pointing this out!
Can you please elaborate i just did this today and inread this comment
I only have 34,000 on it
Owns a jeep wrangler and repeatedly calls it "the car" lol ok
Lol no one should ever run a dual stabilizer on a jeep nor a drop pitman arm.
Why not?
??? Why?
