You're wrong about Richard Bushman. He has endorsed the book called By Means of the Urim & Thummim by James W Lucas and Jonathan E Neville indicating a change of his position. James and Jonathan went deeper and wider than anyone on the subject.
There are plenty of others who take bushman's navme in vain at those conferences.
@@GospelTangents have you read that book? I recommend it. It clears up a lot, so much so that Richard Bushman's endorsement is in the book.

Bushman compliments Lucas & Neville for their work, but it doesn't mean he believes a seer stone wasn't used. Read Bushman's endorsement again.
