BNL = Most under rated band of all time... when i listen to these songs I cannot believe they weren't all over the radio WAY better than the normal crap

What a powerful sound those two make with their voices. I was quite shocked to read Steven Page had left the group. Unthinkable! Those guys belong together!

You can see that they're genuinely having fun. This always makes me smile, even when I'm in a bad mood. And Steven Page has such a beautiful voice. TY BNL!

@bamapagedesign Yeah people always think that all their songs are gonna sound like one week.
They are an incredibly versitile band and that's just one of their songs
yay for "Moondance" the only Van Morrison song i like. i love this. & love BNL so much. so glad i rediscovered them a few months ago. it's sad that most ppl don't absolutely love their music cuz its fantastic. super creative & funny. Ed is an amazing guitarist. they don't get near enough attention as they deserve.
Yeah they are great, and on the ball with new media distribution.
Ed roughly said in the Rolling stones interview, "Studios have become too protectionist." And he's right, the were dropped from their label and do stuff like this, hitting audiences with free controlled versions that are like this one.
Great musicians, just wish they would tour in Australia more.
Good news. Gordon has to be one of my favourite albums of all time. Nice guys who can sing, play, write, original and with a great sense of humour. All Good, Nothing Bad.
these guys have been exploiting public media distribution to get people into their music far too long! i mean it all started on speakers corner and now UA-cam... which is just speakers corner for this part of the solar system

@skipskipskip01 I've listened to The BNL all my life, my mom used to play their Gordon album when I was a little kid. This song was always my favorite haha. The BNL are an amazing and very under rated band.
I only "rediscovered" bnl I had heard them years ago an when I happen to see ed online and the "bnl" associated with. I found this...Awesome. Ed is a funny funny guy look up "roosterteeth, Captain dynamic. funny stuff

For some reason I can see him rejoining the band in the near future. He knows, the band knows, and everybody else knows BnL won't sound or be the same without him.
my brother is like obsessed with these guys he has all there cds and posters and knows all there names lol i think its wierd but hey he likes and there good so yay!
i love this video, especially because in the middle of the song they break out into Moondance and then again toward the end they break out into Mr. Roboto.

Actually this is the two founding members of Barenaked Ladies: Ed Robertson and Steven Page. They can't be any more the real deal than this.

Also, at the time this came out, I was 21 and thought Ed and Steve were starting to "get old", now that I'm the same age they were at that time, it doesn't seem quite so old anymore.

This is exactly what I'm going to miss with Steven Page leaving the group, the camaraderie between these two guys. Thanks for sharing these great videos, they really show how much fun the group was. I'm sure they'll go on without him, but it won't be nearly as entertaining, iMHO.

@skipskipskip01 In the US, yes. I Canada, they are all over the radio. In fact, I used to live in Maine, and they were always on the radio there.
The biggest problem BNL had in the US is everyone expected single after single to sound like One Week, and that's not who they are.
That's probably a good thing since they ARE professionals...LOL ;0)
