@@TheInfinites hey infinites you're very kind to reply. No I meant to say about video tutorial. When I looked at the sphere by the end of the video I still saw reflection there
@@MrRuumi1 Alright got it! So my goal was to remove the reflections from the backdrop, which we found in glossy indirect pass. But there's still some reflection in the glossy direct pass, which can be seen in the top sphere. But then again, the idea was to remove the reflections from the backdrop, not the sphere. So even though we turned down the reflections, the effect was only limited to the backdrop. As in, only the backdrop won't have any reflections, other objects will. And that's why the sphere has the reflecitons. Hope this helps :)
Hey, no worries. This tutorial explains what cryptomattes are. The other tutorial, which I assume you're talking about 'the new cryptomatte node', is about how to use the new cryptomatte node. Hope that helps.
The cryptomatte node got an awesome update! Here's the updated tutorial: ua-cam.com/video/XhJRpTa5b7U/v-deo.html

You're welcome mate!
Thank You!
How did you move the node from 3:54 to the shortcut key?
Hey, the shortcut key is "Crtl + Shift + Left mouse click". You need to enable the node wrangler addon first to be able to achieve that.
Great explanation, thanks!
Thanks mate!
great!
Thanks!
my pleasure mate!
Am I missing something? Because the reflections are still there!
Can you share a photo of your nodes on my discord? I'll have a look there. Probably something with the mix node.

@@MrRuumi1 anytime mate!
You are confusing me, I have watched both of your videos on cryptomatte 😒
Hey, no worries.

Already outdated. What a bullshit interface these nodes are! Impossible to understand without finding the correct tutorial.
Have a tutorial on the updated version too :)
