Listening to Iomadae going on about how the Commander has a mortal mind and is only pretending to be a divine entity, as if she were born divine .. It's barely been 100 years since her ascension at that point. I couldn't roll my eyes harder if I tried.

In my opinion freedom demon is most fun path to play because story is great and i love to screw over all of them, except Worldwound's best mom and go for ascension ending with her
In a funny way, Iomedae is correct. The actions of the Aeon Commander (if they fully commit and dont go renegade) does resilt in the world they know to be replaced by a timeline where the worldwound doesnt exist. In the end, their world is destroyed and replaced by a better one.
If HIS pride will destroy him - but SHE stands by to do nothing (because she knows she actually can't without bringing half the pantheon down on her head for trying) AND acting in the vein of stripping MC's powers; which she can THEORETICALLY actually do, will by her own admission cause "more harm" to this world [Somehow, than destroying it outright would do? o.O] What does that say about her own ruffled feathers. Bent nose for pride's sake because she's had her hands all but tied against these demons for how long??? This is the reason the Crusade does not make sense. It is why the morale system is by written lore, massively stupid; the HoMM is stupid, kingdom management IS NOT KC's job! and the whole argument here is basically rendered as a means for the devs to insult the player no matter which path is taken. By this ONE character. As an argument for Atheism? Against it... search me. The demons had Drezen for over seventy years and the soldiers fought on. You take it in a month and a half at worst if you do everything and do any building of your base army at all... and one BS time limit (where they take away decent magic items if you don't want to lose morale) screws you over hard. Come. On. Owlcat! Just by gaining Drezen back with an effective anti teleporting shield you should NEVER have to worry about Morale again. Period. (I could understand it as an incentivizing method in order to push for re-taking Drezen when you don't control it, but it's still a "dick move" mechanically) Stick to the RPG and choose your own adventure aspect. That's where you're gold. Nobody likes the puzzles, or the minigames. We've all told you they're not good. The exhaustion/fatigue mechanic gets directly in the way of any notion we should explore or try for side questing at all. You guys REALLY need to think about this stuff. Before you implement it. Iomedae is NOT omnipotent as a God. You should with the Mythic Power at least have about a 1 in 10 chance - to a 1 in 50 chance realistically to literally kick her arse. If you're going to write characters to be assholes no matter what path is chosen, you're just berating the player at that point. For even having managed somehow to get that bloody far. I have tried to look up the Aeon Questline by the way, and I still can't find definitive answers as to what EXACTLY needs to be done to get anywhere other than talking to the mirror and saying the oath. Truly, I appreciate the role play, but what I would ask for is a full guide. For every actual mythic path. At least the difficult to complete ones. I did not have this problem trying out Azata for example. (Other than I like Monk, and screw whoever thought up the idea of let's restrict alignments for MYTHIC POWER. There are maybe 3 in the entire game; but it means that frankly, if you want to be a druid, a monk or a paladin you are buggered for playing most of the mytic options. That is NOT SMART) So many aspects of this game just peeve me right off. Because they're either completely antithecial to good tabletop role playing, or they straight up do not need to be there in the first place. * I already wrote on another post long ago if you recall exactly why I understand that Iomedae is a bitch to KC. It doesn't make such smart writing, if you consider the point a lot of players will take not having at least ONE "right" answer a little personally. (They could also have helped players out by - as with alignments - labeling WHICH conversation choices with each romanceable character will actualize the romance. Or screw it over. It's not really that hard to give the player a hand - and frankly even in RL some people have difficulty with social structure. There's A LOT of responses that seem like they should be okay, and they just aren't if you want romance) Sorry to vent man, but this is like the 20th + time I've tried to get anywhere in this game... and the best I can do is begin ACT 3 so far. For a compliment I will add; I really do not know how you managed to complete this game so many times through. Did you sell your soul to Asmodeus? o.o At this point, if I can't get some actual help to complete at least the Aeon Questline for a playthrough as I want, I will have to give up on that. For the sake of my own mind. Because I'm not going to let one short sighted development company - that probably wanted to copy Batman Arkham with nary a mechanic invested for that, or Witcher Vision - give me a freaking stroke. Beating my head against the wall trying to figure out their giant bloody Rubix Cube. Which did not have to be. Because right now, to me, that's exactly what every thing in this game is. Thank you for what help you could provide. It is appreciated. I'm not quite done yet. I'm just on a razor's line. End of the day and as a tip to recall to the developers = it does NOT matter how much cool crap you put in your game, or how complex you think you should layer it. If doing so manages to make sure that 90% of your actual player base will never complete the game. It doesn't matter how many classes, how many cross classes, subsets or pets you make. If again, by dint of nature in RPG's and exploration to gain said power levels at scale, you're going to impose detriments that render such basically pointless to try. Have any of you even checked the completion statistics? At all... Pathfinder Kingmaker barely worked. Some of the time. If you were lucky. It's still more borked that not on Consoles. We warned you, we all TOLD YOU what did not work in the mechanics. You chose to put it into Wrath as well even AFTER you said it wasn't going to be. You even actively made it worse. So for that alone, you've lost my good faith. A good DM does NOT aim for a Total Party Kill. You never should. Challenge, does not mean "break me." The game does not have to be Dark Souls to be either well layered or complex. Which are now buzz words to me. Thank you oh so much for that. Slandered; you're good people. So hopefully you won't take any of this personal. It's not aimed at you, and you're free to disagree. (I know how you feel about Nenio... so, yeah. Agree to Disagree HARD on that) Be safe, and stay well if you can. I'm gonna try to get through the game, and if I can't get better than Act 3, so be it. If I can, I'll probably have you to thank. Massively.
