    Everyone needs to remember that you can do all the ab crunches you want and have very strong abs but you're not going to see them if you are fat. What you eat is the most important thing.

    I just completed this one. Really tough, really good. Definitely a total body workout. I didn’t use any straps…..this time.
    I just had to pause it several times to change the attachments, especially because I used the pull up bars. You were too quick for me when transitioning.

    i seem to be having problems keeping my lower back flat on board... i end up pulling the lower back muscles and unable to try again for days. what am i doing wrong, i am new to all this...

    • @totalgymdirect

      This can happen when your core muscles are weaker than the back muscles. The back muscles take over, and end up tightening (as you mentioned). I would recommend training planks and pikes first before getting into these exercises. We have videos on our channel for both pikes and planks.

    What is the best exercise you can do for lower abs if you don't have any workout equipment? I am only about 104 lbs, but after I receive two organ transplants, my lower
    tummy sticks out a bit. I've got an extra pancreas and a kidney stuck in there now. lol I miss
    my flat abs, but I'm grateful to be alive. Any advice? I aim not to be perfect, but to be healthy and to look better.

    Everybody has abs. It's your diet more than anything that will reveal them. Simple exercise and stretching along with the correct diet.

    I can never get my abs to get/feel soar. Also, I can get my elbows to my knees. I'm going to keep at it. Would like to at least have a flat stomach in 2 months. Then maybe shred the 6 pack in by Christmas.

    • @totalgymdirect
      @totalgymdirect  8 років тому +7

      Increase your incline to increase difficulty. Also, make sure you're focusing on using the abdominal muscles, not the back, arms or pulling your legs too high.
      To achieve your "flat stomach" goal, make sure you're supplementing your workouts with a proper diet. Abs are made in the kitchen!

      I'm having trouble understanding your problem. Are you not sure how to rest between exercises?

    • @styilmaz1980
      @styilmaz1980 7 років тому +7

      Here's an easy format to follow:
      Day 1: Chest and Back
      Day 2: Shoulders, Biceps, and Triceps
      Day 3: Legs and Abs
      Day 4: Rest
      Complete 3 sets of each exercise. (8-12 Repetitions)
      Rest 30-45 seconds between each exercise.
      Rinse and repeat...hope this helps.

    • @JONES534
      @JONES534 7 років тому +4

      for the rest, he said it in the video, do all the exercises in order with no rest, rest 30 seconds and go through the exercises a second time. if you really want to burn them out, rest 30 seconds and do it a third time. rest another 30 seconds and do the last exercise for a burn out. do this routine 2-3 times a week.

      Hey Big Brax, sorry for the delay in responding, and hope you had a happy Halloween weekend :)
      For creating a workout regimen on your Total Gym, a great step is to purchase some of our home workout DVDs. If you're looking for something more customized, might I suggest going to somewhere like www.bodybuilding.com/fun/find-a-plan.html and selecting a plan that sounds right for you and your current goals. Once you've selected a plan, translate the plan's exercises into what relative Total Gym exercises (as it sounds like you have a good grasp on TG exercises). It might take a little time, but will be worth it for the structured workout you're looking for.

      Your Probaly bending your back or it’s not used to it. It may also be your back straightening out because that’s what I felt when i started workoutingnout

    Abs are made in the kitchen. Why do personal trainers never put that in the equation when endorsing a product like this.. Not trying to knock the guy. Love the total gym. Just people got to understand you can do this for 2 hrs a day and all you will do is build muscle underneath the fat. Being a deficit and proper training regimen will get you the six pack you wanted. For the record Im a personal trainer to. I understand youre endorsing a product but dont let out the biggest part when it comes to this stuff.
