It will be affordable in 3 to 5 years bc benz have enormous depreciation bc a lot people dont want to buy a used benz bc they have awful reliability and high maintenance costs.

+zarbon700 No... that's not how it works. Usually people have a lot of money and they want new cars every 2 to 4 years so instead of buying a new car then selling it and loosing it's value they lease 2 to 3 or 4 years a car. That's why they get so cheap.

Is it a dual-clutch?
Because i drove a 2015 Benz E350 Diesel and did a Kickdown with it, the acceleration was nice but the 9G-Gearbox really took its time, i think with a 7G-Gearbox the acceleration would be better, how did you feel about that in the E300?

All other models feature a torque converter

I detail all the Mercedes-Benz new or used for a dealer here in CA. My favorite interior is from the s class and I also like the g63 amg's interior, especially in red and black.

Hi Parker, just wondering what do you use to film your POV shots? I'm making a project for school on my dad's M3 and want to do a POV shot.
I feel like you cheapin the brand when you make all of your classes look the same like BMW has done. I mean come on I spent 120,000 on S class, I don't want to have some $35,000 C class look the same. I want to have a little bit of exclusivity. That's what S class used to mean but Mercedes has really cheapened their brand with these latest models
BMW DNA in their designs is different to what Audi and now Mercedes do.
They have this is so true there is no reason to pay £72,000 for the Sclass when this had better equipment for £35,000 and it's practically the same, at least BMW and Audi don't do this and the cars are more noticeable and specced right
While I can’t afford an S Class, my first thought was wow this looks a lot like the interior of an S Class. While I wouldn’t use the word exclusivity, I can certainly agree that for what the S Class costs it should be having features that do leaps and bounds over what one might call “economy classes”.
Well for all of us who can’t afford a $120,000 S class I like having a car that has S class features for $70K. Go get a Bentley if you want something unique

Other reviews have cited a 0-60 time of 5.8 to 6.2 - seems quick to me? I have the same engine in my C -Class and it IS quick with lots of torque.
They did the same thing with the 7G in the C-Class as far as shift times when you're in the Sport+ mode.
Have the choice of a fully upgraded E Class or S Class what should I take ? Price is the same...

Looking forward to an E43 AMG review... hopefully that will resolve the lackluster power. I'm guessing they will make and E63 still, and the E43 will be slotted between the E300 and the E63, in the same place as the old V8 E550.

great review i love the new e300 but i have to say you really cant compare it to the 5 series. because it is due for a refresh pretty soon then we will have a far comparison just had to point that out.

This is an entry-level 4-banger pushing 241 HP, so this is not for the quick. Interesting that they didn't lead off with the six-cylinder, which would be the real volume model. The 4-banger is usually something you introduce to boost sales after the initial rush for the redesign dies down. Interesting market strategy.....

You should do a series of videos where you test drive lower end and underpowered cars and roast them
Not comparing the two but I do see where Chrysler Dodge jeep get some of there cues from its not to obvious but seeing to how Mercedes use to own them im not suprised. For example the screen graphic on the secondary screen where it shows the model of the car your in SRT cars have that also. Plus all chysler dodge jeep cars have Ancient Mercedes underpinnings that have been molded by them it's just really neat to me

whats with all these new cars and their steering? you have to turn the wheel 360° for the slightest change in direction.
Nice car, but I would get the e350 2016 and below- V6 non- turbo, that turbo will go out eventually in the V4 and V6 in the 2017 and up!

Are you in Vegas right now? My friend sent me a snapchat of the same Lamborghini you have accelerating on the highway being driven by a young guy.
I was all set to lease this car until I saw your video. Is the acceleration really that bad? I was also on the fence about the 4cylinder turbo as well.
If it's anything like the M271 EVO in the W204 C Classes then avoid. Very laggy and whiles highway cruising and passing will be fine city driving will feel odd. BMW turbo motors are far more responsive but they're louder and the DI system is really clattery.
Are you going to review an m2 anytime soon?
if it had more HP then I'd consider getting it in the future. the price isn't bad at all I thought it would be Around 90K

I am looking for a car around $50,000 to $60,000. The interior looks great but, when I heard it has a 4 cylinder engine, I went to look elsewhere. What do you think of the C450 AMG?

It's a great car the E Class. It's used as a quick luxurious cruiser not a sports car. It's commonly used as a private executive car or chauffeur driven executive transport in the UK.
As to the powertrain this is a heavy car but it still pulls like the old 6 that has been replaced for economy weight savings etc. A zero to sixty in around 6.4 secs is what supercars used to do only two decades ago. If you want something quicker get an E400/E43. But then the E Class saloon with a bigger engine would not want to be driven hard and all the tech and soft stuff will soak it up.
This car is still quicker than loads of 6 pots out there so not to be sniffed at.

The only two options you have for this new E class, are the E400 with the V6 Biturbo, and of course the E63/E63S with the 603hp V8.

We have made a leather wrap-around product that covers all of the rear bumper of E300 and prevents paint scratch and minor dents.

Most people don't realize that most people that would buy the E300 don't care for speed or performance, but just about the luxury the car has to offer. Those who like to drive their cars would look at the E400, E43, and AMG models if they want performance.
