I absolutely love my 2018 Mercedes Benz E300! It turns heads, its a thrill to drive and I feel safe on the road with! I have owned more than a few of the German 3 (Audi A4 & A6, BMW 3, 5 & 7 series, Mercedes e320) and by far, my E300 is my favorite. I know this video was done years ago, but I enjoyed it!
@@UK-lp7no The e320 was a used 2004 I purchased from an auction. I rarely drove it and sold it about 4 months after I fixed some issues. It was a very nice Mercedes, but the e300 is newer (2018). They both will give you a very good Mercedes Benz drive experience. The e300 is just newer with updated technology. I did a review of mines on my channel. Check it out!

When it came time to buy though, a test drive with a Tesla won me over. The biggest surprise for me is my Tesla 3 Long Range has nothing wrong with it and about as perfect as one could want. Once you experience an EV from this manufacturer an ice vehicle begins to look like relic from the past. Who wouldn't want faster, quieter and cheaper to own. To park, you press a button and walk away. No pulling an emergency brake, no shifting into park and no locking the car. I'm in my second week owning and still in the discovery stage but it's quite clear to me that there's no going back after experiencing an EV like this.

I have one with a full digital cluster and still 30k miles til the manufacturers warranty is up

I took a drive on a mountain road with hairpin curves galore and regen braking is all that gets used. The mechanical brakes don't get used at all. It's downright weird at how different an experience that gives you as a driver and with so much control. A used E Class is probably the best buy in the used car market. I'm sure your delighted with it but we'll win you over next time around.

@@UK-lp7no yes still have it. It is my secondary car as I ended up buying a 2017 C class because I got such a great deal on it. Both run great and maintenance is just routine service A &B. Tires are the most expensive cost. However I am fortunate to have a great trust worthy reasonable certified mechanic in my area which helps me a lot..

not true, air freashners is a optional in Australia, the seat masage is optional , the side bolsters is optional, speed sign recon is disabled, the auto lane change feature is disabled. there is NO 4G connection , the list goes on and on...

On an iPhone, go into Bluetooth setup, select the Mercedes profile, then unselect All for Contacts and select just Favorites. Then mark the contacts you want in the Contacts menu as Favorites

I've driven both S class and the newest E class and you can't compare these cars together, like previous comments said the S class is on a whole other level
I have driven both too, E-Class feels like a comfortable upper class limousine S-Class feels like your driving while laying in your bed, you dont feel corners, the acceleration, the braking everything is so much more smooth.
One of my hobbies is spotting mercs in my city and seeing all the different models and trim levels. For the untrained eye, it is just like the others. For the hardcore merc fans, they're like night and day
many of these features are frankly bollocks. I have never used the self parking mode, just a gimmick as it is faster and easier yo park yourself and I can get in smaller gaps! Come on Mercedes cut the crap and just make reliable quality cars, Lexus can!

And investigation concluded that the driver was at fault. Autopilot 1.0 is level 3 autonomy, Autopilot 2.0 is 2017 and level 5 autonomy. 2017 Mercedes is barely level 2 and competes miserably with the old gen 1 Autopilot from 2014.
For he people complaining about a 4 cylinder, the people buying this are looking for comfort and quite ride. This is well thought out.
what they dont know it still is that its a TURBO charged engine just as quick/fast as a 6 cylinder engine. I like the performance and luxury great car
