- In this video I perform a slide change/disassembly and a hopup upgrade to my red speedqb/competition hi-capa, and walk through the parts I have inside as we go. I switch from the Dr. Black 901 slide to the LA Capa Void slide and upgrade my AIP Hopup to the new LA Capa TDC hopup.

@@magicmanspaz you do understand that airsoft hopups are completely different from gel blaster hopups, right?
@@Wyhaq Only new to this. Only just found out the wheel is removed on the gel blasters. And the hopup is done by holes or slots on end of barrel.

You can add more shortstrokes with the 5.1 guide plug by either; unscrewing the guiderod putting everything together and then screwing in the guiderod from the front, or you can put the guiderod in before you put the blowback unit in.

@@ValiantAirsoft found an easier way for more shortstroke and be aible to fieldstrip. cut the shortstroke buffers. Therefore u can put them in after u assembled everything. I found out u always have to pair 1 complete with 1 cut one, otherwise the will get loose.

BTW thankyou for your advice on the last video, upping the fps fixed the problem although, I wish I would have just bought an hpa tapped, m4 adapted hi cappa. Would you rather choose a Lancer tactical strke. Or a jag arms pistol?
Lancers are supposedly marui compatible but I haven't tried either

Have you tried using fixed Outer barrels?
Lucky ur bbu has a good bucking to nozzle seal mine just doesn’t stick at all

I have the same sight set up you “DO NOT” need to hold spring it in place when fitting the BBU. Just fit the BBU (without nozzle) then slide nozzle spring in place for the top, put sight in place and do up the sight screw. (Can even fit the BBU screw as soon as the BBU is in the slide with no nozzle spring installed)

Hi mate, great video as always, I bought the LA Capa TDC unit for my Army Armament JW4 Pit Viper hi-capa, I installed it and everything seems in place, the nozzle seems to be making good contact with the bucking but I bb's practically roll out of the barrel and doubble feeds. Is there something I can do? I really want to use this TDC uinit. Thanks for all your guides
Sounds like the nozzle is a little too long and pushing the bb past the bucking patch. Is it the stock nozzle?

may be a noob question but would a base tm be better or a gold match for the tac rail. I know thr base tm comes w one but i heard it doesnt look as clean
The gold match has a better mounting rail but the slide rails can be iffy some times

lithium grease could help reduce your alumunium to alumunium/metal friction. please share this tips, ive been use it over hundred round.
Supposedly lithium/silicone grease causes galling with metal to metal contact. Not sure whether that’s accurate though

What do you use to grind down the rear sight screw? Mine is putting a ton of pressure on my nozzle.

Im completely new to air soft and im interested in buying custom parts for building a hi-cappa but LA cappa hasn’t restocked theres nothing and I can’t buy parts anyone know when or even if they restock
Restocks happen semi regularly, there was just a large one about two weeks ago. There will be more but hang tight. I recommend getting a base marui and upgrading what you can as things come in stock.
When the hammer makes that sound its deforming/damaging your frame.. should install a hammer protection pad so it doesnt break
How can i set my capa for this low recoil and have this speed is it about springand buffer?

What length should i get an inner barrel for my 4.3?
If you have a thread adapter you can put a 113mm 5.1 length. otherwise I think it's 96mm or so?

When the loading nozzle sticks, didn't it mean it increases the possibility to misfeed?
If you mean the compression between the nozzle and bucking, no. If you mean when the nozzle does not retract into the BBU during cycle then yes.
@@ValiantAirsoft how does the TDC chamber perform compared to the AM chamber? I'm using the AM chamber and very interested switching to the LA Capa TDC chamber.

Hey , so i've been running into an issue . I have bought a Tracer unit , its a Bifrost from Acetech. I am unable to threat it to my hi capa 5.1 . Any solutions ?

Trigger pull weight is a combination of the hammer spring strength, sear spring tuning, and the hammer used. I don't go for the absolute lightest pull personally. I have the stiff spring and 4 copper washers.

If it cycles then it's fine, doesn't matter if it's green gas or hpa
The reds don't see to be the same shade. The color matching in hue is off putting, is this just a camera effect?
There's a slight difference under direct light, the old slide was a slightly different shade as well.

Did the dr black slide get damaged? Or was it qc problem?
The slide was damaged
I believe this could be because it is 6063 and just very cutout, it is able to flex more easily than other slides.
It would be better to have fixed outer barrel)))

Gas guns have enough power to move the slide well, so those over cut off slide designs only make it more weak!. I don't like it
A harder aluminum would have been fine
@@ValiantAirsoft even so it's aluminum, which is why a complete slide without so many cuts is better
Factually wrong. Reducing the weight decreases cycle time and increases efficiency.
@@ValiantAirsoft but it makes the slide more susceptible to breakage and that kind of things, and that's a nono for me
