if only this video would have been released like about 10 years ago when i customised my hicapa with a 7"upper and lower slide. the amount of time i lost trying to figure out where the little bits and pieces had to go.... i still have my "cannon", and although i cant play airsoft anymore due to a knee injury i sustained playing airsoft on my favorite field, i never sold my gear, and sometimes i just bring it al out and just shoot at targets. im now 50 years young and mis airsofting a lot, wish i had taken it a bit slower that day, but my motto back then was: you go all in or you go home... enjoyed watching this!!!

Knipex Smooth Jawed Pliers would fix your issue with marring the surface finished. They are expensive, but totally worth it. One of the best tools I've ever purchased. I used them nearly every day for all sorts of tasks.
This Hi-CAPA Pistol build looks and sounds so cool. I'm going to make a custom Hi-CAPA build now! Also can we see Valiant play with a Electric pistol (EES18) soon? Even tho he just made a killer Hi-CAPA! LOL!
About the tool marks, you can something like a small cloth or a piece of toilet paper or anything that serve as cusion, as it wont stop you for inserting the pin but it wont leave any marks
When using a vice grip @ just under 2 minutes, id suggest using some small 3cm x 3cm plastic, or wood.. to prefent the teeth marks, i know its a throw in the dark, but every little detail can make a difference in performance :)

For the oring,i found out that if its not sliding back freely it will give you problem in the long run, like so, if a smaller oring is installed, it will give you light strike/half cocking hammer. Anyway, nice build regardless

i just hpa'd my clips back in the day and ran a remote with slide check valve, but i legit had 9 50rnd clips and f@#ked ppl up from so far away at 400fps. tokyo marui is the only pistol youll need. i put a 12inch barrel on one time and was for reals taking out snipers. with the ol clear bioval .27. man those were the days

Takes practice and a lot of online searching, usually if you can’t find what you’re looking for your searches have to be more vague, try finding videos on the 1st gen arp or aeg’s in general
valiant do you think internals on a TM is really needed to upgrade? i hear the TM is great right of the box, but i ended up buying one a few months back and have yet to touch it (military) but was doing a joker theme build, and got me thinking about the internals asking are they really worth the upgrade?

Looks alright. Lots of these clickbait videos look like absolute hot garbage. The one with the cheap microcontroller in a small plexiglass box on the bottom comes to mind (1k dollars best airsoft!). Even if it's not 'the best' you clearly put a lot of effort into it, and that's cool. Good job!
Hey I have a hyper and comp lower and a different grip on my hicappa and hpa or green gas it like to make my trigger stick to the rear I filed down my grip still gets stuck what can I do to fix this problem? Also when I press my mag in my gun further it leaks gas!
so i wanted to check out the shared cart but it doesnt work anymore i want to build a hi-capa in the future (wich is now) but it doesnt work so thats a shame
I'm not a fan of hammer pads, the one build I've used one on caused timing issues with my hammer/sear and general weirdness. My years old builds are still ok without them.

It was from the outside edges of where the outer barrel meets the slide 🤠

Nozzle o-rings have absolutely nothing to do with the function of the hammer/sear/disconnector.
@ValiantAirsoft weird with the wrong bbu oring size, the hammer doesnt reset.

A lot of replicas have the lugs in the slide but lacapa took them out for smoother action/less wear.
