bro you just saved my build! I was trying to figure out why my knocker was light striking when I had my full auto disconnector in, and I had just taken out some of the washers in my hammer regulator. I had just about given up until now lol
Brilliant video man, I plan on building my own hi capa slowly over time as soon as I can, gonna start with the base TM and HPA it, then when i get the money gonna upgrade the internals then externals. Hoping to end up with a black and orange build haha. Vid has been a good help in helping me understand how the build process works!!
Beautiful build! You forgot to put the other barrel stabiliser on the outer barrel, you put one in the barrel and one on on the other end and sits behind the threads i believe, Im planning on making a hi capa with the jungle cat slide and La capa barrel and you’ve just confirmed that 😂 I love how it all came together in the end. Keep it up 👍
I used to, but they never have anything in stock lol its kind of ridiculous. I've been on the notify me list for 6 different parts and haven't seen anything for about 7 months now lmao
@@pandaplayz2141 Same here, I can never find everything for one complete build unless I want it to look like a clown pew. Hopefully they start stocking up again.
I have always wanted to make a video like this but I figure it would be a few hours long explaining all the tolerance issues, tuning and such that are actually required to build a hicapa!
@@CZGamingTVfrom my educated guess, nearly 1k frame is about 250 on its own, slide is about 120. Depending on other major parts (including the base hicapa) it's gonna be about 1000 easily
Bro. As a gunsmith and a guy who builds airsoft guns for fun. It is super bad to drop the hammer without the slide in. If you are gonna do that you should put your finger on the other side to keep it from bending the frame. Same goes for real steel 1911 and 2011s and many other pistols too
While I detest speedsoft builds, this was informative on troubleshooting my KA(TM Comp) 1911. I have used some gheto shims(screw with a few M3 washers on it) to give more tension to the Hammer spring. I also ordered some 130% Nozzle springs. it's not fully cycling and loading a new round. someone suggested its a power issue and someone else suggested stronger nozzle springs. I should get a little more power with the "shimmed" hammer spring and the nozzle shouldn't get stuck in the hop unit with the better spring.
I heavily recomend lubing your outter barrel. Especially if it's been custom painted. Your paintjob will survive a bit longer and your slide will travel better
It wears because of the original Tokyo marui design that made its way into current parts. There are interlocking lugs on the outer barrel and on the inside of the slide that run during action. On the TM, it didn't matter because they were plastic. Lube will not save you from the wear.
“You dont need lube dripping Down your gun” thank you! Finally someone Else who agrees with me 😂 so Many guys on yt post build videos bathing the gun in lube
Building is not my specialty, and I feel ignorant because I have no idea what anyone is talking about when it comes to parts. Thanks for making this vid, is helps.
Once when I get money, I’m getting parts from armsaholic to make a custom marui John Wick Pit Vioer just how it looks in the movie. Thankfully I found this video to help me
I use a high grit buffing compound by 3M for lapping the slide to the frame. It can make the "scratches" look better? It is going to rub the anodizing away either way, nothing you can do about it really. I personally over lap my slides because I KG GunKote my pistols anyway. It leaves me with perfect tolerances and no bare metal after painting. Also, everything is a perfect match color wise after. KG is a self lubricating paint/coating. It is a better product vs CeraKote, IMO.
And it’s time for me to hit the Subscribe button and click the like button as well thanks for showing your build and no skips video and also for slowing telling what to do and what not
Really cool video. I´m new to that Airsoft stuff (never played it but it looks very interesting maybe try it one day) and I wanted to ask. What does Hi-Capa mean?
I wanna build one but half the stuff you mentioned I have no idea what they are or how to determine which ones would be best for me, if I ever I meet you in person I’m about to pick your brain about it lol
I really would love to customize my Hi capa with a custom Slide. But the Problem is, theyre literally sold out everywhere. And the few i found are unable to ship to my country.
could you elaborate in the Airsoft Masterpiece trigger bar? What advantages would I get from adjusting it? Is it much of a difference from the LA CAPA trigger bar?
@@ValiantAirsoft LoL. I just got into airsoft myself a few months back and I've already spent a few chunks myself. I like buying and working on the guns more than using them.
Love the video. I have a question. I have the same slide you have here, but I have an airsoft masterpiece limcat advanced frame. I didn't have to fit the slide to the frame like you did in this video. It also has the tiniest bit of wobble. My question is: is that ok? Does it need to be super tight?
This is an awesome pistol! Question, if I were to buy a pre-built one will come with magazines or are they separate? If they are separate what magazine’s do you use?
great info especially on the detent thing, i hate that and have lost my spring now i cant move my safety nor remove it so annoying.... also why is the 4.3 frame longer then the 5.1, i have a 5.1 and its longer then the 4.3
Have you tried using the purple loctite instead of the blue, much lower bond strength but probably still enough to hold the screws? I’m starting build and am hesitant to use the blue on the hopup chamber screws, and wanted to try the purple instead. It is loctite 222 instead of 243. Nice build btw.
If you're going from the ground up all in one shot it makes sense to buy everything separate, but 99% of people are better off buying a TM base and building off the grip/frame
I dont know for tm but kjw hammer is potmetal i broke mine and i dont play speed only casual airsoft. Tolérance issu was my biggest problem the hammer dont move freely and i dont want to modify à 80buck hammer to fit in a 100buck pistol Your build look so cool, but i dont think investing so much money is worth if the person dont play competition.
