That second last game. Blundering your rook AND bishop in one move at the 2000 level. Watching these videos makes me feel better about my own blunders. We're all human.
I’ve gained nearly 400 ELO just on your content alone. I wish I had the money right now, but between a newborn and my dad passing I just can’t make it work.. hopefully you’ll open it back up or sell at a lowered price without the benefit of being in discussion groups etc. Love your channel and strategy so much. From 500s to closing in on 900. Also #1 in Legend league. Feels so good on top of all the heartache and stress from this month.
Love it. Especially how you handle mistakes and losses. I always get so mad at myself when I make blunders but that is really part of the journey. Thanks for your videos I am really learning a lot. 🙏
Love you Nelson, mostly coz you're a Christian, but you do what you admonish against, you play a lot of hope chess in these runs. Take this from a man probably 35 years older than you that wants to see you succeed.
Just re watching the live stream on Weds against Kaeldom . Made me chuckle when Nelson said " might play Bb3 , pretend I'm a grandmaster " . One day ...... 😊
2:03:27 then is the time to bring in the other knight to d2. Cause black might attack with their knight, after moving pawns in the center. On this opening - like in the coli system - the dark bishop is developed later on.
Your funny! 1st game 'I don't really know what's going on here' 😂😂😂😂😂😂 love ur show & I've learnt so much from what I can remember from school when I started playing! Nice 1 Guidance & Protection Mannerz & Respect Peace 1Love 2U & ur family Balance 369!
2:11:57 - "basically the game is over" 2:13:15 - "oooo. Wait a second" :)) 2:15:02 - "ooo. now that is an interesting moment. we can take a rook (for free)" 2:17:46 - "my undevelopment knight it saving the day" :))) 2:18:33 - *check mate :))
I'd love to join "Break 1500", but sorry I am not spending 197$ for a chess course. I have like 220€ atm and I have more necessary things to buy:D Didn't realize it's that interactive, but still currently I can't afford it, but seems like it could be worth the money thought if I had the funds to pay it and live. Though I can go just to my city's/town's (Population here is 38k, but it's only 30km from our country's capital and biggest city, so it's still in the capital area) library on a Wednesday at 17:00 (5pm) to 20:00 (8pm), where there's an irl chess club, which is free, so I think that will be better for my current situation:D
White takes rook with knight …. Black takes knight with bishop or rook…. White takes with queen…. Black takes queen with bishop or rook…. Black would come out better in that position if he played the knight fork
Watched about 6 games this man played and he lost all of them, to lower rated opponents. No one can win em all, I understand that, but I am not so confident in buying his course.
Nelsi wasn't good in the first and second game he could have calculated much better that shows you that even at your best you can still make blunder calculations
You need to understandstand that he is dictating almost every move which kills his crucial time which he could have played within seconds and focussing on comments and other stuffs also. He is doing many things at the same time which also diverts his mind. So he is already atleast minus 1 point down before the start of the game . And his opponents are completely focussed on their game so it will always be hard for him to win comparatively.
Personally I learn as much from the losses as the wins due to Nelson's approach to explaining in the analysis. Also the course is breaking 1500 not 2300, it's helping a specific type of player see progression in their personal game. Coming from a 1000 elo casual player.
You're the only one that can get me pumped about chess like I'm about to watch a MMA death match. So intense.
The problem is, Nelson makes it look so easy and so logical and I think, "Oh, I can do that". and then I jump in and get nailed! lol
For real!
Played my first 90+ accuracy game the other day. Completely slaughtered my opponent. All thanks to you! 🙏🏼
Dont discredit your hard work too!
You'll keep getting better even if you go way up and down!
That second last game. Blundering your rook AND bishop in one move at the 2000 level. Watching these videos makes me feel better about my own blunders. We're all human.
Please make a "break 2000" course after you rested!! I appreciate your streams and videos and would be very happy about that!
You da best man, deserve 10x the views!!!

I think your winning percentage is higher when you don’t try to sac pieces and just play solidly. You play your best games against cheaters
He can't resist the urge to sac though 😂
"This is a very tricky position. . . and I don't know what to do" - I can relate to thay
Love it. Especially how you handle mistakes and losses. I always get so mad at myself when I make blunders but that is really part of the journey. Thanks for your videos I am really learning a lot. 🙏

You are definitely first rate at communicating all your ideas💡
Fascinating Content.
very instructive thanks nelson

Oh yes, have been waiting for this! Made my day!

"Breaking 1500"
Kid named 1500:
This is a great series
2:11:57 - "basically the game is over"
2:13:15 - "oooo. Wait a second" :))
2:15:02 - "ooo. now that is an interesting moment. we can take a rook (for free)"

2:18:33 - *check mate :))
You’re the best Nelson. Your videos added 100s to my elo.
2:43:06 if you go nd5 to fork the b pawn, why is that not at least a draw?
at 2:01:44 - after enemy king take your rook, you had a squire and took an enemy rook. I saw it myself at the reviewed match :D
Any chance of a breaking 1800 or 2000 in the future? Current stuck in the mid 1700s
I'd love to join "Break 1500", but sorry I am not spending 197$ for a chess course. I have like 220€ atm and I have more necessary things to buy:D

I don't get why trade the queen. I thought horse was going to go there to fork the towers.
White takes rook with knight …. Black takes knight with bishop or rook…. White takes with queen…. Black takes queen with bishop or rook….
Black would come out better in that position if he played the knight fork
Disappointed I can't afford to get the course this time. Really hoping it will open up again in maybe 6-12 months.
it's super hard to play to tricky lines from black above 1700.. it doesn't cut it
8 minutes in I’ve learnt so much cheers
These videos are great to see the next level for me. I'm currently 2000
He doofed up big time at 20:20 :(
Learning how to learn
Do a breaking 700
Watched about 6 games this man played and he lost all of them, to lower rated opponents. No one can win em all, I understand that, but I am not so confident in buying his course.

I guess less advertizing about your breaking 1500 course during the games, it costs you a lot of time and so: games………..
Not trying do be a dijk - but was it smart to make a new chess course if you were going to lose this much?
If you find a course out there from someone who hasn't lost, please share it so I can take a look!
