Can anyone answer, what to do at 2:39, if your timing tools will not go into the locking holes, seems my old timing belt has stretched and the timing is out alittle? How do I put it back in time?
Hello Arts&Trust TDC 1st cyl. Determine by means of a screwdriver, remove the 1st cylinder spark plug and insert a screwdriver into the spark plug bore. Turn the engine until the screwdriver reaches the highest point. Now adjust all markings on the engine as described and pin them with the tool. Best regards, your Continental Aftermarket Team
The crankshaft sprocket can only be installed in one position! Fits only once. On the sprocket behind it there is a cam on the front side which must match a hole on the crankshaft pulley. In addition, there is a marking on the timing belt cover, this marking must be aligned with a notch on the edge of the crankshaft pulley. You can also find the instruction in the PIC.
Thank you much... I like how you explain every step thoroughly... please keep posting

Great video. Can you use suitable size drill bits instead of the locking tools for the pulleys?
Yep you can. Just make sure they're around the same size as the locking hole.
Timingbelt kit same as 1.6 16v bcb engine code
Please excuse. Could you please write your question in more detail? Otherwise, we can't help you with your question.
