Mine is coming today! Got the solar panel but they sent no hardware ie screws or bracket. Kind of pissed was 245 with everything.. was Amazon not farmlite Good video I subscribed I have 4 coops 40 ladies in coop I’m putting it on
I built the coop from scraps that I had laying around the house. In fairness I have a woodshop and remodeled our home so I had some descent "scraps" just laying around.
I’ve had this one for over a year now I think and haven’t cleaned it once. Still working like a champ! However, the coop is raised off the ground and I have about 6 inches of deep bedding in the coop so that helps rather than having it directly at ground level.
It's unfortunately out of stock on his site. I'm probably going to make a manual door for now until he gets more in stock instead of buying something else and being disappointed.
Dang that’s crazy. We are still rockin and rolling with ours and love it. The off-grid setup has been so cool as well. I think you have a good plan and just hold out until they are back in stock. Good luck!
Great video! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for watching! Door is working like a champ!
Looks pretty good but I am not real crazy about the hanging power cords. Would have to run them inside PVC or something
That would work with the wires running through conduit or pvc. I used wire staples and zip ties to control the wires and that has worked well.
@@cedarporchhomestead so far that is the best as far as solid a door as I have seen probably going to order one

Dang that stinks that you didn’t get everything, but I hope they get that straightened out quickly! Let us know how it works out for you. Good luck!
Where did you get your coop?

Doesn't it get clogged up with mud, chicken poop, straw and whatever else they track through it?

Great! Thank you!

The door can be programmed with the exact time you would like the coop door opened or closed.
