That one person hasnt come that always describes what the song feels like so im gonna do my own personal take on it. the first 3 bars: everything's ok and you havent heard the news yet. youre feeling calm and life feels great, as if nothings wrong. the next 5 bars: the melody becomes more clear and heard more as the news are broken down to you. either someone you know dearly is injured, hurt, or sick. or your friend or family has to move away. its kind of calm but you slowly start to realize the weight of the situation. the 2 silent bars: you dont clearly understand whats going on and youre confused as to why. there were no explanations but you realize that your time with that person is limited. the next 8 bars: that person is gone and you feel empty, as if somethings missing. you wish youd spend more time with them, talk with them more, but you missed your chance to. you had more to say but youre unable to do so... the next 2 bars: your thoughts are stopping and going, pacing around your mind. it feels like youre sprinting trying to find answers, or some sort of cope. you tell yourself its alright but its really not. the next 4 bars: you think back to the memories youve shared with that person. it was so much better when you could at least see them with you. you find peace in your memories with them. its like a movie that plays everynight but you cant stop rewinding and playing it back. the final movement: you think of them every night but you go back to wishing they were back. you spend your time grieving and crying uncontrollably with no stop. its hard to hide it and everyone around you is always questioning if youre alright. you wonder if you can bring them back, and even question why theyre gone in the first place. you feel yourself spiraling out of control and its getting harder to breath. with every key change the notes get harder to hit as you feel your body failing you. up until you give up and feel nothing. your chords and strings have been damaged... youre no longer playable... ^ this always doesnt have to be the case ^ its all up to you to imagine whats really going on when you hear it. this is just my take
I love the detail put into this. It reflects the life of a loved one whom you lost, and it just spirals out of control until you make it to the end, and you just give up. Very emotional.
I recently lost someone who I loved so much. Although it was only for three months, it felt like everything to me. She made me feel at home and happy. She was my everything. She disappeared without saying no words at all. I thought she had an emergency, but she left because she felt like doing so. There was no closure no nothing. I did nothing wrong at all, we were having a normal conversation, and she disappeared out of nowhere. I fought and I tried but she did not at all. She did not fight for me and us. I thought of everything we did, what did it mean to her? Questions popped in my head and I wonder who was I to her? Did she really love me? All of those words she called me, I was called her sweet boy but was it genuine? All of those late-night talks, all of those love bombs, what did it mean? Does she know that it is hurting me too? At least close up or just say something. I just want to hear something from you but now you are a stranger. Why did she not fight for me? I am in the process of moving on. I feel so empty and conflicted. I miss being able to talk to her. Being able to tell someone about your day is amazing. You feel your presence appreciated and acknowledged. I miss hearing her yapping and her days in general. I miss her in general. I tried so hard. I know I have to let go but I believe all of this is for a reason. Although I might hate it for now, in the future, there will be a day where I won't regret it. My message is to not give up! It is not the end of the world as it seems to be! As an overthinker, build peace in your mind. If you cannot hate that person then do not. Do not try at all. Be thankful that you had that person in your life for awhile. Cherish those memories but try not to dwell on it. I am in the process of doing that, I see her everywhere, believe me, I understand the feeling, it is empty, but I am grateful! Come to terms with life and remember to love yourself! Comeback and be better! Cherish those you have right now! Cherish what you have! Live life and love! Come to terms with those memories you made with them! Remember everything is a steppingstone towards something big! Everything happens for a reason! Do not stop and keep going! This song is beautiful, I visualize the racing thoughts and memories the day I lost her. Thank you so much for reconnecting me for a little bit with this song. I hope everyone finds their peace as I am trying to find mine!
@@solus2281 i feel your hurt. this song doesnt always mean death and i love the message put out. i made this song so people can have their own meaning for the song. god bless and im glad youre looking at your situation positively instead of moping about it
I lost my dog in a car crash. Now im all here. Crying all day... just hoping i would see him one last time.. it sure really do sucks losing someone you love...
i wanted to end it off abruptly to show that feeling of giving up. the last part is you/the person who lost someone, trying their best to stay sane or sumn. it all depends on how you see it
not sure what you mean but they sound ok to me :D edit: if you mean the end part i made it go higher so the notes couldnt hit it as well as it was before each key change. everything was intentional, there were no mistakes made. its the context

This is actually the first time i see a song composer explaining what's their song about.
Imagine hearing this as a live performance on a real piano, that would sound crazy
@@clovwark lmao we can only imagine 😭
